"how'd he do that?" She wondered outloud as he left the room. She finished a lab and tilted the chair back onto two legs and rocking back and forth. She almost fell over completely a couple times, but caught the table and righted herself. "I finished one...can i get stuff now?" she tapped her fingers on the desk, than got up to follow him. "What are you doing! I already finished one." Having no idea where he'd went she just started to call out "Zack?" at every door she passed.

"Im in here" zack called out as he was washing his face with cold water, "I just came in here to calm down a little, i seem to have gotten over excited when you came over." he was shouting to her though he knew he was just around the corner and the first door on the left. Splashing more cold water on his face he reached for a towel to dry off his face. walking out of the bathroom with out looking he fell on the bed accidentally.

She glanced in and saw him fall on the bed setting her to giggling. "Need glasses?" She leaned on the door frame and looked at him. "I finished a lab. Now what?"

"Well yeah actually i do, i think i left them in the bathroom but i am blind with out them so could you find them for me and then we will figure out your lab situation." feeling around he sat up on the bed. "Please help korry its very hard to do anything with out them, other wise you would have to lead me to jones."

Korry glared at him and strode into the bathroom and picked up his glasses turning around. "I don't see why you would forget your glasses if your that blind." Smart alec. Whiny, trick me into getting them by bribery gerrrrrrr.

"Thank you for getting them korry," zack said pushing them up with the palm of his hand, "now back to the lab so we can print off the first one and you can get started on the second one in while i find jones." offering his arm "Shall we go now?" bowing slightly intending for her to walk with him instead of ahead or behind.

"You're welcome." If nothing else she at least had some manners. Still dumb as ever though she looked at his hand for a moment before taking it. I'm not royalty, that's odd. She unconsciously straightened her shoulders and stood straighter as if she was a princess. The books, and movies she'd gotten the idea from came to her mind, "Yes we shall." She laughed inside and walked with him back to the lab.

Escorting her back to the lab he looked over the lab. "This is very good korry" saying with some pride "let me hook this up to a printer." Quickly moving around and typing on his computer it was connected in no time. "If you get one more done i will ring for jones."

"But you said that I get something after every single lab I finish." She leaned over the back of her chair looking at him. Her look said, 'you better not be lying this time. And i better get something special.' She purposefully leaned back to stretch taking as long as possible , (almost tipping her chair over yet again) and than glaring at the screen started ont he second one for the day.

Zack had been caught "Fine ill ring for jones now but you have to promise to finish the second one before you get impaired." smiling he pressed a button on his desk. "Jones, korry has a request for you if you would come into the lab for a minute she will be able to ask you in person." looking over at her the entire time he said this, lifting his finger off the button "Is that better korry?"

"I can do that... i think." She let her shoulder sag and continued typing. stopping every few seconds to get frustrated, waiting for Jones to get there. "yes thanks." She grinned smugly at the computer screen for the victory of getting free alchol.

Jones suddenly appeared out of no where, "Yes master zack. How may i be of service?"

"Korry is the one that needs you jones ask her what she would like." zack said without looking up from his game.

"Miss korry, may i be of service?" jones asked politely with smile upon his face.

"Yes please, Zack said I could have a drink every time i finished a lab. Can i have a... Smirnoff?" She tested the waters with a tasty drink.

"Miss korry i will let you have one but only if you call your mother in front of me, with speaker phone on of course, and tell her that you will be spending the night in the guest room." jones had a firm but relaxing tone through out the entirety of his state ment.

"I told you jones was a stickler korry" shrugging his shoulders "jones i would like a long island ice tea but half ice tea and half lemonade." smiling he looked over to her and thought this is going to be a fun night.

Korry frowned and opened her phone. "Fine." She turned on the speakerphone and pressed the speed dial for her mother's phone. It rang several times before her mother answered,
"Yes hun what is it? I'm trying to straighten some things up with your brother." Her voice was flustered and sounded exhausted. Korry hesitated momentarily feeling horrible for her mom.

"I'm at a friends house and was going to stay the night in their spare bedroom. We're working on my labs."
There was a silence on the other end of the phone that worried Korry, but her mom sighed and agreed.
"Come back right after school tomorrow than. We have some things to talk about. "
Korry quickly interrupted before her mom could say anymore since they were on speakerphone and she knew how bad her home situation was."Okay mom I will, i promise. I'll call again later if I get sick of labs. I love you."
"Love you too hun." She heard a click on the other end of the phone and closed hers and slid it back into her pocket.

"There, happy?"

"Yes i am miss korry, Which flavor of smirnoff would you like to have?" looking over towards here "We have the apple, triple filtered, rasberry and strawberry."

Butting in really quick before korry could answer "i recommend the triple filtered, its good and mixes well with other things."

Korry had been about to answer and instead scowled at Zack, "Fine, I'll take the triple filtered, and more later." With a smug flip of her hair she turned back to the computer determined to get her second drink by the time Jones got back.

Watching korry do her labs made zack smile "You know if you had done this on time you wouldn't have had to come to my house just to do them." smiling he turned back to his game and went 20 for 2. "So how much have you gotten down now?" walking over and putting his hands on her back.

She rubbed her eyes annoyed. "Is he coming?"

She scowled, "I didn't feel like doing it on time and you made it easier. " Than adding a mumble on the end, "I got like five more done. Am i finished yet?"

"Sure you are done so you can print them and staple them together. Jones is here with our drinks so hurry up and let me know when you have finished printing them off so we can do something else." smiling as he took his drink from jones and started to set up a couch in here for them to watch tv or a movie. "You done yet slow poke."

Again she scowled at him, pages already printing. "Hey, it ain't my fault that your printer is slow." She smiled at Jones who had brought the drinks. "Thank you Jones." She was thrilled at that side of this situation, and Jones seemed really cool.

"Your welcome miss korry" jones quickly left without asking anything else.

"When you are ready you can come over here and we can watch some tv or something." Zack looked over to her smiling hoping she wouldn't notice. "Just don't take to long slow poke."

korry turned and glared at him catching the smile and her glare deepened into a scowl. but her heart fluttered. Now that was strange,she thought as she snatched the papers from the printer and moved over to him. "happy?"

"Very much so, is there anything that you would like to watch? I have pretty much any channel that is on tv considering my dad has to have the best and that includes the best tv almost thirteen-hundred channels." zack tossed korry the remote then took a sip of his drink and felt the alcohol rush through his body "well that feels good, how is yours?"

"I wish Mtv still had music channels." she replied as she sat next to him taking the remote he offered. She took a big drink from the bottle and grinned brightly feeling the heat rush through her. "Quite good actually." Her other hand was flipping absently through the channels, she had never seen so many. "We can't really play any games with these can we? Only two people i mean."
