Cyres nodded.
"Few people make it an hour here. There's a maze of stairs leading from here up the the next floor. That's where you can find the vampires, the demons live near the door. No I do not have a map, but the lanterns should keep the vampires away, and the older demons, though we don't have many old demons. " He said.

((lol I liked the dodging demons in human form thing. Sounds fun XD, but we can't just leave poor Cyres in there...right Albel? *turns to boy* *poke poke* Albel?

Albel: Hm? Did you say something? *smile* *sparkly sparkly*

Albel cracked an eye open and stared at the conversing lion and girl, "Sounds like fun...." he murmured sarcastically. "Maybe..." he perked up and opened both eyes before sitting up completely, "What if we use that guy for bait?" He smiled happily and pointed to the beat up man from before, who was now trying to crawl away slowly. He froze and turned around, a cold sweat forming on his brow. "I mean if he can jump out and attack a bunch of defenseless teenagers, he probably won't mind dying from being ripped apart limb from limb by a vampire...or maybe a demon. And then having his body sucked dry by said vampires and having his skull ripped open and zombies or something eating his brains with a spoon like a kid eating ice-cream." Albel said this all with a bright smile on his face, a slight hint of malice in his tone. He would have continued too if he wasn't worried about the innocence of his friends.

Sadie nodded, taking in all the explanations. She felt that it was crucial that she remembered everything so that they wouldn't have to deal with the deadlier creatures in the house. She had to ask one other question, though. "Do...the vampires and demons...ever come down here?" She asked slowly. Then another question popped up in her head. "So did those people...d-die here?" Sadie became scared again. "Or did they just get scared and...make their way out?"

"And, Albel? Uhm...less graphic explanations please. I'm already scared and weirded out and kind of ready to puke." She joked--kind of.

Cyres grimiced at Albel's vivid discriptions of possible ways to die.
"I suppose you wouldn't want to come to an end like that. I'd gladly finish you off." He snapped before turning back to Sadie.
"No, and yes. No one's ever made it out of here and lived more than a few weeks. The demons take on a human form and hunt them down." He said, a light very evil smile flickering on his lips but he shook it aside cursing himself. He consious ranted to him.
Cyres! The sooner you can find your old fourm in thge blasted house the sooner you can get out. So tagging along with these teens would help.
"I've experianced the demon mauling one to many times. It's gruesom, and a very quick way to die." He wisper, aiming the statement at Albel. Cyres put on a face like he'd forgotten to do something.
"I've got to find something in the boxes. I'll be back in a second." He said, darting into the boxes before anyone could object. When he deep in he sighed and streched.
"Where'd I put that?" He muttered to himself as he dug through the boxes in the back. Dust drifted from the back to the group.

((*Catches sparkles* OMG! VAMPIRE!))

Sadie wanted to change the subject because she really didn't want to hear the possible ways to be killed in this house. She thought of what might happen after. If she died, then Albel and Anna would probably go down with her. "Wait...Cyres? What do you mean? You've been killed by the demons before?" She really couldn't help asking so many questions. She hoped that Cyres would understand.

Cyres sighed.
"Now exactly but everything I just said will be a little easier to understand when I the... Score!" He cut himself off pushing a few boxes aside. There was a flash of silver and glass and Cyres chuckled to himself.
"I looked that bad?" He said to himself slightly suprised as he looked at the glass man he was looking at.
"I could have looked so much better if I had know this was how I'd looked." He said pacing behind the wall of boxes.
"Note to self, store glass form in a less deadly spot, and under less boxes." Cyres said, every work he'd spoken in the last few moments clearly audiable. He picked up the glass man by the cape and headed back to the others.

Sadie was curious about what he meant. He could've looked better? But he was a lion. Sadie had no idea what that had to do with anything, but okay..."What...do...you mean?" She questioned slowly. She was getting even more confused now. Cyres was talking to himself about how he looked?

Cyres set the glass man down and began to explain. The man's hair was styled much like Cyres's mane. He had a sword across his back and he stood with his arm's crossed, his cap had torn and he had a blindfold on. He wore a tunic and a trench coat with belted boots that reached his knees.
"Me." Cyres muttered.
"I could have looked so much better." He continued.

((Shocker isn't it? Cyres is actual part human!))

"Huhwhat?" Sadie asked really confused. She combined the words "huh?" and "what?". Then she tried to figure this out. Cyres...has a human version of himself? So she wondered why he was a lion. Did the demons kill him and he had to choose another form? Did the human form come AFTER the lion form? "Who is he?"

((Now I know that, but Sadie doesnt. o_O))

"Me. Every time I die I switch to the other form. I'll look like that next time I die." Cyres said.
"When I do die there'll be a glass lion down here." He continued before laying back down and closing his eyes.

"Many other ways to die huh..." Albel murmured to himself. Softly so as to not disturb Cyres' explanation of glass forms and such. Interesting...

((I...I...SO FREAKIN' SHORT! *is shot*))

Sadie was beginning to understand Cyres's life pattern. "So you keep switching back and forth from a lion to a human?" She nodded at her own assumption. "But what keeps you here? Protecting the teenagers? Probably not, right? Keeping the ghosts away from the antiques?" Sadie shifted her position. Her leg was starting to fall asleep. "But we die anyway, don't we? You said they hunt us down."

"I really don't know. People always seem to come down here when I'm human, and it just seems odd for an armor clad man to walk out from a bunch of boxes in a basement." Cyres said with a light purr. He sighed.
"Your all thinking about what's going to happen insted of what our going to do now. To get out." He said ruffling his mane.
"It gives off a bad auro, draws the demons down from the other floors." He added.

((*head spins* Must...catch...up...sorry guys! Dx Anna's freaking out preeetty bad right now, lol.))

Anna's head was spinning. ((Ha-ha.)) She'd been standing in one place for these past few minutes, not saying a word to the lion - part of her having a weird urge to pet it, and part of her having an extreme urge to run away screaming - and extremely frightened for Albel, Sadie, and herself. And she thought they'd already been scared out of their wits.

But now, the only thing that mattered was how they would get home.

She turned to the lion for the first time and said, her voice shaking, "Okay. So how EXACTLY do we get out of here?"

Cyres pressed his ears against his head, when she'd stressed her words. He could tell what she'd said.
"Don't know, don't want to try to learn to know."

Sadie was so stressed at that point that she just wanted to get out of the house. Every little thing they did could screw things up. "I say we just walk out and don't bump into lanterns. We ca figure out what to do once we get out of here. What do you say?" She waited for other people's opinion on her idea.

"Just let me lead you guys past the boobey traps." Cyres said his ears prickig up slightly.

Sadie nodded. "Okay." Anything to get us out of this house. But she was still scared of what happens after they leave.

Anna tagged along after Sadie, a bit frightened. Booby traps? Oh God.
