"I think I figured out the dog bit." he joined in on her laughter. "How are things for you? Are you settling in alright Lottie? Perhaps we could go for a ride after lunch if the weather continues to hold." He mused, imagining them together. He wanted to hold her hand, touch her beautiful white hair. Had it always been like that he wondered. He wasn't sure if it would be alright to ask.

She smiled and nodded. "That would be perfect. I really would like to see the whole layout." She walked towards a rose bush. "I love roses." She fingered the one earing without knowing it. She turned and looked at him. "Do you like them too? Is that why there are so much?"

"They have a pleasant smell. I guess I'm particular with my nose." He smiled and stood up walking over to the rose hedges. He looked them over searching for that perfect one. Caught between bud and bloom. Finding one up high he reached way overhead to pluck it from it's thorny reaches.
His shirt was perhaps not quite long enough, and when he fully lifted his arms, some of his chest was exposed. A hint to the bite mark being visible.

Lottie glanced down when came close to her. A slight blush covering her face. Her eyes slipped, checking him over. Her mouth opened. "You were bit!" She said, holding up the shirt in the most unladylike way. " How did this happen? Are you alright? " She looked up at him, her eyes wide. Of course she thought of the wolf right away but that wasn't possible, so why think about it?
She bit down on her lip. She hated seeing someone in pain and seeing blood normally got her to pass out. Her one downfall. "Have you at least put something on it?"

He managed to pluck the rose, before the girl saw his wound, but quickly lowered his arms, and thus his shirt as soon as he was discovered.
"Ah yes, my ache from earlier. I do believe I got a cold compress for it, but the wound is shallow, and not much of a worry. It is not bleeding as such." He blushed, he didn't know why he was embarrassed about it but somehow he was. to hide it, he diverted her attention with the rose.
"For you my lady." He gave her a small courtly bow as he handed the rose to her.

She paused and took the rose. "Shouldn't you rest? It looks rather bad." She asked softly, trying to calm herself. She held onto the rose like it was the rarest thing in the world. She held it close to her chest. "How did it happen? Did the wolf bit you?" Her voice was shaking slightly, remembering the wolf's wound. She just couldn't remember which side it was on.

What was he supposed to sy to her? would she get suspicious if he said it was form another wolf? He didn't want to lay to her, at least more than he was already form hiding his nature.
"Ah no, it was another dog, It was trying to pick on my wolf, and I got in the way... If it would help your worry, I shall get my butler to dress it up. Perhaps we could meet here for lunch and then go for that ride?" He asked polietly. It seemed the wound disturbed her, and he didn't want to distress her.

She nodded. "You should go do that. We wouldn't want to risk your health." She said, sitting on the swing and smiled, moving the swing slightly. "Would you mind if I explored a bit while you are taken care of?" She looked at him and batted her eyes. "Since when do I ask?"
She felt a ping in her heart. She stood. "You know...never mind. Why don't I go with you and help?" She asked kindly.

"Oh this shouldn't be much of a bother. Please feel free to explore, just don't get lost." He winked at her taking her hand one last time before leaving. He brought her hand up to give it a light kiss. He would get his wound wrapped and then perhaps he would rest for a bit.

She watched him walk away. "What a strange man..." She placed the rose in her hair and started down the path, towards the back of the house. He had said the wold may be hunting out back, so it was best she checked there first. She moved quietly, afraid that she might scare the wolf if she came running around the corner.
The fresh scent of the forest filled her nose, making her smile. She entered the forest and sat on a near by rock. She could still see the house and wasn't more than a foot inside the forest, just in case wolves came again. This time she only had one blade, tied onto her upper thigh just in case.

He walked away shaking his head. He really didn't see what the big fuss was, but he hated to see her face worried like that.
He quickly entered the house and called over to his butler. Soon he was in the kitchen along with the maid while they tended to his bite.
"Awe, does little rascal have an owie? Does he want me to kiss it better?" the maid teased him.
"It's no large thing..." He mumbled... The maid and butler shared a knowing look and smiled. They finished the bandage and left him on his own.
He was a little tired as he sat alone in the kitchen. He didn't really want to leave off for his rooms at the moment however. He found his way to the den, remembering the night the two had shared. He sat on his "Dog" cushion in front of a small fire. He found himself nodding off to sleep, chasing rabbits with fur as white as Lottie's hair in his dreams. fur crept up over his skin, and as he dreamed he unconsciously changed.

Lottie spotted a small rabbit hopping by. She stood and keeled on the ground. The rabbit sniffed her hand and went on it's way. She watched it leave with a sad face. The wolf wasn't out here. She couldn't explain it but she didn't feel him around.
But the fresh air felt so good, she could bare to go inside just yet. If Nic needed to rest it was best she stayed away while he got some shut eye. She leaned against a tree, staring at the back of the house.
"Now what?" She looked into the forest. If she had brought both her blades she would have gone in deeper but with the attack still fresh on her mind, she knew one blade wouldn't fend them off.
The drifting sound of a near by stream caught her attention. She smiled, thinking of dipping her feet in the water. She wondered inside the forest, hoping to find where the sound was coming from.

He dozed, dreams coming on and off, visions of white hair and of red fur. How strange it would be to find a soul so akin to his own amongst the humans. It was the first time he wished he was normal. But then again, she also like his wolf form. It was quite complexing.
He woke from his nap, startled a bit when he realized he had changed in his sleep. The woman was causing his hormones and emotions to play havoc with his changing cycle. He stretched and shook his body, finishing the waking up process.
Looking over at a clock, he found there was still plenty of time before lunch. Perhaps he would go and spy on the girl. He padded off to find her scent outside and see where she had gotten.
((I'll prob go to bed soon, just giving you the heads up))

(Ok, good night!)
Lottie had found the stream and had removed her formal slippers. She had her feet in the freezing cold water. She was resting her elbows on her knees, staring into the clear water. Small fish swam by, gently swishing over her feet. She looked up into the trees. "I wonder what it's like being a wolf. to run freely without having to worry what people think of you."
She moved up her skirts and stood in the stream, watching a bird fly by. She walked up the stream, her eyes wondering around in search of a wolf. She still had not seen any trace of one. Not even some left over bones from their meals. She bent down, spotting a pair of old paw prints near the spot she had sat at. "So there are some in here..."

He followed her scent, sure enough it roamed the grounds. He headed toward the forest, it wasn't hard since it almost surrounded the house. He was expecting her to have gone deeper within, and was surprised that instead she had sat on a rock near the forest edge. She was no longer there, but had gone a little ways further in... he followed her scent, it seemed to be going in direction of the stream. He knew his forest well. there was a very nice little spot with a small waterfall further upstream and deeper into the woods. he would have to show her sometime.
He crept up to the stream and took view next to a large shrub. He could just see her now, playing in the water.

Lottie grabbed her slippers and walked across to the other side of the stream. She slipped her slippers on and wondered deeper inside the forest. She had spotted something moving and thought it was the wolf. She whistled then went quiet. Nothing moved. She frowned and leaned against a tree.
Lottie crossed the scream again and headed back towards the house. The wolf wasn't back there. In less he was asleep and didn't bother to come say hello. She sat back on the rock she had started out on.

((sorry for late reply I've had a migraine since yesterday... *Sigh* posts may be short and uncreative because of it as well.))
It seemed the girl was restless, or at least that was his guess. gain she was looking for his wolf. He felt odd to be jealous of himself, but for now the two were separate.
There was a bell clanging from the main house. A signal from his butler, that he was needed at the house. This was necessary for when he was in his wolf form for periods of time.
He padded off briskly, but not to quick. It wasn't the emergency bell after all.

( That's ok)
Lottie stood, hearing the bell, unsure of the meaning. She didn't like it through. She made her way back to the house and settled down in the lounge. She found a random book and had it propped opened. She had her legs folded under her dress. Her eyes scanned the book with curiosity. She hadn't had the chance to just sit and read at her parent's home.
She had been taught to read and write. She had found a rare enjoyment in losing herself in a book. She leaned back, one of her slippers falling off. She smiled and kept reading. If life was going to be like this everyday, she could get used it.

When he got back to the house, the butler was waiting for him. He had a large envelop sitting on a tray for him.
"An important letter for you sir, from the Icefang pack. I felt it best to ring you."
He replied by simply taking the letter in his mouth, and made off for his study. He thought he caught a glimpse of white hair in the lounge as he passed, but he didn't stop.
When he got there, he set it down on the desk, after climbing up onto the chair. Then he sat and shifted forms. It was a little painful, but he was quick about it. He stared at the letter worriedly before picking it up.

Lottie glanced up, thinking she had heard something but saw nothing. She shrugged and went back to her book. Her eyes felt sore so she put the book down and moved her glaze outside.
"Now what to do?" She watched her other slipper drop on top of the other. She moved her legs from under her and stretched her arms over her head. She had grown bored and was starting to wonder if she should go bother Nic.
She stood, pausing to glance out the widow and headed upstairs.

((Sorry I was off for so long, I got a little menewsha bummed when My favorite rp partner disappeared))
Taking up the letter, he slowly and carefully opened it. A silver sword only 6 inches long carved with wolves and trees. It was a gift, a letter opener form the very man he was now opening a letter for.
He read the contents, a frown on his face, deepening as he went.
Nicolai Banistor, alpha, of the Moonclaw clan.
Greetings my friend. I wish this letter was one of gossip and clan news. Unfortunately this letter comes as a warning to you. I fear for you even more since now you are alone without the strength of a pack.
New hunters have been rumored. Werewolves have disappeared without a trace, some close to your area even. I know not what they do with out poor brethren. Keep an eye out. A few of our own clan members have also gone missing, no undoubtedly within their hands.
I invite you to join with us rather than be alone. I know surrendering your position as alpha would be hard ordeal, but I fear for your safety.
sincerely,
Tuerren Larby, Alpha, of the Icefang pack.
he sat back his eyes closed. More and more hunters, broken and destroyed clans. It was a terrible sign for all clans. A new group of hunters. His own clan.... Gone, to be alone.
He felt the sorrow weigh heavy within his chest.

She cracked opened her door and entered her room, leaving the door opened. She opened on of her bags, starting to put away her things. She gently lifted out a old book of legends. Before she had lost her sister from a random murder this book had been their favorite thing to read.
Their parents thought it was silly and unladylike, so they would run off in the night to read it in the old barn near their house. It was full of old drawings and explanations of the myths. She sat on her bed, sitting crossed legged. She leaned against her pillow and opened the thick book.
She touched the single rose earring and sighed. She felt good about being here, being able to be alone and do what she wanted but even she got lonely. The book was opened to the tale of werewolves. She ran her fingers over the rough drawing of a large wolf.
"If only they were real..."

Melancholy over took him in waves. He felt the old scars and feelings deep within bubbling up. Loneliness, without a pack. So many loving faces, gone, long before their time. He didn't blame humans, he was not that prejudice. Those who stir up the fear of legends and myth. Those that hunted and abused. They were the real monsters.
He fled to his room, seeking darkness as his only solace until the moon would rise. He only hoped his lady would forgive him, he was no decent company today.

Lottie stood, letting the book fall to the ground with a loud thud. She jumped, startled by the noise. She placed her hand over her heart and slowly fell to the floor, her eyes wide. "Breath...It was just the book." She stood slowly, her legs shaking. Then it hit her. The wounds were in the same spot. A shiver ran down her back. She glanced into the hallway.
She slowly closed her door and changed into a white nightgown. She pulled her shawl around her tightly and blew out the candle next to her bed. She lay on top of her blankets. Her mind racing over the facts. She sat up, shaking her head. "It's no use thinking these thoughts. They do not exist." She took a deep breath and sat on the window sill.
She held onto her knees, curling into a huddled mass of white. Her hair covered her face like a veil of snow. She turned her head slightly to watch the rain hit the glass window. She tried to count the drops but grew bored and slowly fell asleep.

As his feelings escalated he felt the change taking him. The wolf could hold back no longer and with a howl he became fur, muscle and fang. his howl shook the air, as he let out his feelings and loneliness out into sound.
He jumped out his window and stood in the yard, gazing at the sky and forest. Even if he were to take the lovely Lottie as his mate, he would still miss his once thriving clan. could he really start anew? Revive the clan? If this form could cry, tears would fall. For now he would howl his loneliness.
((If you have any plot ideas etc, please feel free to implement them. I've been coming up with a few on the spot, but a good story always needs more than one plot device. ))
