"Wait, Ariana--" Neil tried to say before the girl got up and went over to the relatively empty table. She was already over there, however, and all Sheela and Neil could do was watch.

Waltz looked up with a confused expression. "Cat?" She asked with a hint of a sassy tone. It faded almost immdiately afterward as she remembered her imaginary cat rubbing it's head on her shoulder. Her eyes widened like a deer in headlights.
"Merde!" She swore, flapping her hands over the creature in an attempt to make it disappear. Her hands moved through the illusion, leaving empty streaks that soon filled up with the dark shadowy air again.
"No, it's not mine. I-I don't know it." She stuttered, realizing that by now it was obvious that this was in fact not a cat at all. Granted, it did look like one, but that wasn't the point.

Ariana frowned a little at that. "I'm sorry, I thought that since it was around you, it was yours." Then she noticed the way the girl's hand swept through it, like she was swatting at air. Her eyes widened, but instead of being frightened, Ariana oly grew more curious. "How did it do that?" She asked, her voice filled with awe.

"Shoo, shoo" Waltz kept saying under her breath, swatting the cat till it finally disappeared in thin air. She had already made somewhat of a scene, and people around her looked at it as if it was some kind of magic trick. A few people even clapped.
Waltz just gave a wide-eyed stare at the girl, hoping she'd back off without an answer to the question.
"I don't know." Waltz said, honestly trying to get the girl off her back. Apparently the attempt was going to be fruitless, seeing that there was so sign of backing down from a question. Unfortunately, Waltz didn't know how to react to that kind of thing, so she put her head down and just sat there at loss.

Now Ariana realized that the girl had wanted to be left alone, and a look of horror crossed her face. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you wanted to be alone!" She exclaimed. "Curse these crowded rooms! They mess with my head." She looked down at her feet, a look of sadness crossed her face. "I'm sorry." She mumbled to the girl one last time and she ran out of the cafeteria, not stopping until she was out of the building completely.

"Oh, how stupid to cry over such a foolish mistake. I should have tried harder." Ariana said to herself. She wiped at her eyes as the tears welled up without permission. "I hate this power, it makes me so sad." She stared at the ground between her feet, trying to calm herself down.

Neil wanted to get up and follow Ariana, it wasn't her fault for ignorance, but Sheela had beaten him to it.
The bunny-snake-hybrid hopped down the hallway and out a nearby window.
Surprisingly enough, it landed on it's feet and happily hopped over to where Ariana stood crying. Right in between her two feet, Sheela looked up with a big 'carry me?' look on her face.

---
He got up anyways and made his way to the table.
"Now that wasn't very nice." Neil said in a friendly-mocking tone. He had heard of this girl before, sophomore Aluka Wallow, the illusionist. She wasn't very recognizable from behind, but the imaginary cat had proved it. "I believe we met at an opening ceremony your freshman year? I'm Neil, remember?"

Waltz nodded slightly. She remembered him all right.
"Then, Neil, could you go away please?" She asked, looking back up at her food. By now all of her imaginary friends had backed off to the walls, feeling her discomfort.

When Ariana next looked down at her feet she spotted the little bunny-snake hybrid and she smiled. "Thank you Sheela." She said as she bent down and picked the little creature up. "I'm sorry if you were worried about me. I don't have perfect control over myself sometimes." She smiled half-heartedly. "It leaves me feeling so foolish." Her eyes downcast, she held Sheela in her arms and then she looked up at the blue sky.

Malcom had been sitting at the entrance of the school building when Ariana came running out of the building crying. He watched her thoughtfully for a moment, noting the strange creature that followed her, before walking up and getting down on one knee to be closer to her height. "Now what's this?" He asked in a smooth tone as he studied the little girl's face carefully. "What's wrong?" Malcom may have been a mean guy, but even he wasn't so heartless as to let a small girl cry. "Can I get you anything? Some candy or something?" The boy wasn't too sure how old this girl was but he figured that all little girls must love candy!

Rivka watched her new demon friend with interest. He was so calm! Almost like he was thinking of ten different things at the same time so that all his brain space was occupied! Er, at least that's how he looked. "Boo!" The witch shouted with her hands spread out in front of her face. She had heard that saying that word made people alert so she was going to try it out. That shadow cat was long gone, maybe he was bored now? Maybe Luca was too! She couldn't lose her new friends this soon! "Would you like to go try something very amusing?" The witch asked. She wanted to impress her friends some more, and get a better look at the school.

"Not until somebody apologizes. You've gone and hurt someone's feelings you know." Neil said. By now their conversation seemed like they knew each other pretty well, almost long before just a one-time greeting.

"I-I don't care." Waltz pouted. The truth was that she'd feel awful if the girl had started crying, but she wasn't going to admit that to him. "Besides, she's the one that started to ask questions!" She looked back up at Neil giving a 'why don't you just talk to her for me?' look.
It was unfortunate, but Waltz got up from her seat and made her way towards the outways of the school building.

Neil waved Aluka off, walking out to look through the window Sheela had leapt out of.
He sighed, seeing Aluka storm off to 'apologize'. She was probably going to end up failing and making the situation worse, but that was the fun in watching it. His eyes narrowed down at Malcom talking to Ariana in what seemed to be a comforting effort.
Odd.

----
Sheela, on the other hand, was enjoying being held till another joined the conversation. She squeaked once slightly and got up just enough to sniff the new stranger. He smelled of death.
The hybrid backed off, nuzzling herself closer in Ariana's arm.

Ariana jumped when Malcolm seemed to appear from nowhere, she hadn't seen him nearby at all. "Oh, it's nothing." She said with a fake smile. "I umm, I still don't know your name." She noticed that Sheela didn't seem to like him very much, and she hid the hybrid with her arms. "No, but thank you anyway." She said to his offer to get her something. "I'm just a little upset, but it's nothing to worry over." Ariana managed to answer all of his questions in a disorderly way, she didn't feel like thinking over each question as she heard them. She wondered why Sheela didn't like him.

---

Lazareth immediately turned his attention to Rivka, though her random shout hadn't scared him, it had grabbed his attention. He wasn't sure about agreeing to her question, but then, anything could be better than nothing. His mouth twitched at the corner. "As long as it doesn't require me to step outside, I'm fine with it." He answered after a moment's hesitation. He still didn't like the sunlight, and it wouldn't be too good for him. Not that the sun would hurt him, but it did hurt his eyes more than it needed to.

Luca was in the middle of thinking about leaving the group. They weren't really doing anything and no one really knew each other that well. Every one was awkward around each other. Luca was spacing out when Rivka decided to get everyones 'attention'. Unlike Lazereth, Luca got scared. He jolted and backed away at the same time causing his knees to give out (Like they always did) And he tumbled to the ground. "What?" He heard the other two talking and participated in it. "I dont like outside either." He added.

((Sorry sorry sorry! >///<
The post above is on my sisters account to which I forgot to log off of before posting, so I edited it and just logged off  ))

Stupid Neil! Waltz thought as she ran down the hall, passing the the three people who she had talked to before.
To be honest, Waltz and Neil went way back before her freshman opening ceremony, although they pretended that was the first time they both met. Her mother, Audrey Ray, was the older sister of Neil, making him Waltz's uncle. They had only met a few times before and although their ages were close neither of them got along as children. He assumed the 'older brother' role to young Waltz, and had been ever since.
And that was why she liked being an only child so very much.
--
Running out of the school building, she stopped with a relieved sigh to see that the girl hadn't gone too far away.
"You." She panted, pointing to the girl. "I deeply apologize for the troubles I might have caused you and... Yeah." Waltz almost sounded like she was reciting lines off of a page, aside from the last part. When she had become aware of her surroundings she noticed both Neil's strange pet and Malcom, who she waved to with a happy motion while mouthing "Hey, Four-Eyes-Abruti~"
She didn't even mean that in an offensive way, it was just such a catchy nickname. Besides, it's not like she knew his name anyway.

Rivka's eyes sparkled with delight. This was going to be very entertaining. With a clap of her hands she initiated a teleportation spell that sent the three of them into the library. It was a bit dimmer than the hallway had been and shelves filled the space with new and ancient looking books. "Which one shall we choose?" she asked as she looked at a row of books that seemed to be fairy tales. "Something exciting, of course!" She added as she glided a finger along the spines of some very old looking texts.
Malcom chuckled. She was being such a big girl. "I'm Malcom," he said with one of his charming smiles. "What's your name, little darlin'?" Of course he noticed that the little creature didn't like him too much, but like many things, he chose to ignore it. That was about the time that he weird girl from before came running in. She was crazy. She was going on about something about causing troubles and such but the whole speech sounded very scripted. Malcom chuckled. She mouthed something to him but he didn't quite catch it so he just assumed she had said something insulting and went on with his life. He would deal with her after the little girl was happy again.

Luca wasn't to happy about being transported to the library. He started to fall down as his surroundings changed. Luckily for him he landed on a couch that was in the library. This time he decided not to get up. It was comfortable.
He heard Rivka talk about reading books and picking out an exciting one. He looked over at her as she went through the books. Was she going to read to them?
Luca laid back down and sighed. This was the weirdest day he had ever had in his life. a

Ariana looked at Malcolm and tried out his name, saying it. The name rolled smoothly off her tongue, but as she said it, a chill crept down her spine. "I'm Ariana Silvaen. I'm seventeen years old, and the Order signed me up as a Senior here. I suppose that means this will be my last year of schooling before I go back." She said easily, even giving out her name and age barely sounded scripted, though when she said her age, she did sound unsure. "Thank you for your apology." Ariana said to the girl. "I am sorry I didn't realize you wanted to be alone. I don't believe I shall be bothering you anytime soon." She nodded to the other girl as she held onto Sheela. She turned back to Malcolm. "Well, thank you for your directions earlier. I found the Administration Office quite easily. And thank you for trying to cheer me up. I should be going now, however." She smiled at Malcolm at little first and turned back to the building. It would likely be a good idea to find Neil again.

---

Lazareth seemed a little off balance as Rivka transported them to the library, but when they landed there, he managed not to fall down. He'd seen many different kinds of transportation spells, adapted to different races that used them. Chimeras sort of just 'popped' from one place to another. It felt sort of like as if one were being sucked into a very small vortex and then popping back out in another area. And there would even be a 'pop' when they would disappear and reappear. Different demons had different ways of 'popping' from place to place. He looked at Rivka. "What are you planning to do with the books?" He asked, guessing that she was going to use some kind of spell or something.
