Aurora stepped into the room and noticed that Denver seemed to be a bit off. She put her hand on his shoulder. "If your tired or something there's a guest room upstairs." She said, thinking he probably needed rest after all this happening. She looked at him, then at the girl next to him. " If you need to rest you can stay in my room or Ace's, or my mother's since she has been gone for a month." She said, brushing her bangs out of her eyes.

I let a warm smile go out to the girl as she offered a bed for the night. As wonderful as it sounded, it couldn't help but to think I had over stayed my welcome already. I was just too opinionated most times. But I never stayed in one place for every long. No rest after all. "Thank you. But I really should be going. As you said, the world has gone to hell. That is why we are here. By the looks of everything, We are not getting any rest."

With a yelp, I ducked out from underneath Aurora's hand. "Don't touch me!" I shouted at her, my hazel eyes moving quickly from Serene to Aurora. Idon'twanttoit'snotmyfaultIneveraskedforthis. "Idiot!" I exclaimed, holding my head. Though whether or not I was calling Aurora an idiot or myself, I was unsure. Stupidstupidstipidstupidstupid!
"Stupid!" I suddenly became aware that I was chanting it, and for how long I didn't know. "Stupid!"

I watched the boy freaking out. Something in his head seemed to be overloading. At least I knew he was no human. Or maybe he was the gifted ones. Either or, I moved myself so I was slightly in front of Aurora. Not wanted her to get harmed. My protective instincts kicked in. Although the enemy was Denver's mind. I reached my hands up, even against his wishes. Not caring what It did to myself.

A bit of concentrated blue energy rose from each of my fingers as I carefully placed them on both sides of his head. To anyone it would appear like I was attacking him. But no, I gently put my own forehead against his forehead. You see, my power can both harm a mind, and calm it with a bit of concentration. The worst that could happen? He would reject it, but it would simply knock him out. Forcing him to calm down either way.

When I had started, I didn't know, but my hands clenched and unclenched. Oh, look at the pretty sun, the fading sun. Darkness crept over my vision, seducingly cool, promising to stop it. I fell onto the ground, unconscious.

Aurora watched as the boy freaked out and then the girl started to touch his head. She rolled her eyes and sat back down in her chair, then watched as the boy fell to the ground unconscious. "Nice.." She muttered, getting up and picking him up since he was fairly light. She laid him on the couch and looked towards the girl. "You can stay if you'd like, it's no bother. " She said, giving a small smile. Though she was pretty bored at the moment.

"He will be alright. Just sleeping for now." I said as Aurora picked the boy up, placing him on the couch. "Thank you, I may be back later." I said to her. Stretching a bit. A few of my bones cracked into place, or out of place. "I have to do my job. So maybe someday I will be able to rest. but for now, not for long. Take care of him for me please." I said to Aurora with a small smile back. I was deeply thankful for her compassion. Although she seemed so down.

A pair of wings grew from my back. Very small wings, about the size a young angel would use. I then turned and left, waving a bit with my right hand as a turned.

I sat up, groggy. It was too early! I closed my eyes and fell back asleep, not wanting to wake up yet. "Fivemoreminutesss..." My plea just merged into one sleepy word that trailed off, with my face turning to smush itself to the floor. I fell asleep. If I'd been able to fully wake up I stil would've tried to go to sleep. I'd always get in trouble at the Home when I woke up late. Oh! The Home.. Dream land was tearing apart my thoughts, and I gave up on trying to comprehend the word.

I heard a huge boom, Coming from somewhere outside, I immediately jumped up off the floor, and peered out the window. A building had fallen, There was people trapped under the rumple, it had literally crushed people on the spot as well. I followed me instincts, I was about to bust out the window, But I knew this was the only safe place we had and quickly stopped myself. I used the door.

Once outside, I ran toward the building, I lifted up my wings to fly overhead to see if I could spot anyone savable at the moment. I could only see one, Slowly fading from life under a cement splotch. I flew down and tried to lift up the rock. Too heavy... I breathed strongly outward, and pulled up as hard as possible, It moved a little, I concentrated on moving the rock and all of a sudden, a bright flashing light hit the bottom of it, and it was as light as a feather to me. It flew in the other direction in an instant.

I immediately looked at the person's injuries.. I was too late. They had already left this word, His soul was standing next to his body.

"I'm sorry.. I tried. Maybe you'll go to heaven and-" But before I could finish, The soul fell to ground with a piercing scream, "Oh no..." He was going to hell. His soul trembled and shadows surrounded him, They was pulling him through the ground. I got on my knees and tried to fight them off, It was simply impossible. He'd made his choice and he went to hell...

I cried, I cried a lot. I couldn't think about helping anyone else, I couldn't help anyone else. I just got back inside as soon as possible. "He.. He died. I lost him and he went to hell." I told Serene.

I heard the building start to go down, although I did not react as fast as Riley did. It was sad, I was more interested in who caused the building to fall. Why the humans were still inside of an obviously broken-up building. Riley came back in what seemed like mere seconds. I felt bad when she told me. I truly did... but it did happen. It would always happen. Just like teachers have to fail students who dont care about their studies. It was always hard. But it happened.

"You did the right thing Riley." I said to her. Trying to comfort her in any way I could. She was still very new... She shouldn't have to be put threw all of this.

[I think Riley and Ace have a budding romance. But, if they do, Should we have two angel/demon romances? Or is Denver still with those two characters at the same time? Little playa.]

The gloom of not being able keep that man alive.. Was strong. I guess Serene was right. "We can't stay here too long, We need to keep moving. Before.. They find out. The demons.. That is. Or before Lucifer sends another little trick to haunt me, and us. Let's gather the group, And see who is going. I think we all should though." I admitted.. "Especially Ace. I want them.. Saved."

A small smile crossed my lips. Riley was thinking along the line I was. A stepped aside with her a bit. Knowing Aurora could possible still hear. Although it did not bother me in the least bit. She could hear. At the mention of Lucifer, a small bubble boiled inside of me. He was the one thing in the world I possibly hated the most.

"At the very least I want to get out of the city. Buildings are coming down. It is simply not safe."

((I'm having Serene playing hard to get in that one xD but if everything goes as planned, we could have angel/demon, Angel/human, and human/demon. Three different ones.))

I walked around the house until I found the rest of them, Telling Serene that it wouldn't be long until Lillian thought it need be time to attack, Even though she basically owned the world now anyway. I was worried, I walked into the room I finally found them in, "Uhm.. I- We decided that we should leave the city.. Go to a more rural area. We can't stay in one place to long... Aurora and Ace, Get whatever you want. We simply can't leave you here unprotected." I was very demanding.. It felt.. Good. I guess. To be in charge just a little bit.. I hope they listen to me.
