Roxas glared at Axel when he laughed at him. That wasn't very nice. He let him 'correct him', even though he thought he was doing it right. That was the way he had been playing for years after all. He waited a moment after Axel was done before playing the same thing again. "Is that better?" he asked when he was done.

Axel nodded. "It won't change the sound of your playing. It will only give you more control and make it easier for you to go through a song without messing up." He paused and thought of a second. "Anything you want to learn? I know quite a few verses and intros of many different songs. A few I know the whole song though. I'd much rather play my own though." He smiled a bit. Hes glad they were bonding over music. Even if Roxas still didn't trust him or even want to be near him.

Roxas thought about it. ".. No thanks. I know plenty of songs.." he said. He didn't normally play the guitar in his band anyway. That was mainly Riku's job. It was mainly his job to sing. And occasionally play the guitar. "I don't really play a lot anyway." he told him, not wanting to hurt his feelings.

Axel nodded before vacantly strumming a few cords and speaking. "So what do you want to do then?" He asked as he hung his guitar back up on the mounts. "You can keep that." He said, with his back still turned to Roxas. He then picked up Xemnas and sat down on the couch, turning the tv on.

Roxas thought about it. He felt a bit bad, seeing as Axel wouldn't face him. But he pushed that away. "I would like for you to play a song with me." he said. He needed to get used to playing again for when he went back. He needed to get better. Both at the guitar and at singing.

Axel hadn't been upset but didn't tell Roxas that he hadn't because he was happier when he got to interact with him. He then put Xemnas down and went to choose a guitar. "What do you want to play?" He asked as he took a guitar down. "You can record something if you want." He gestured to the recording studio. "It would be something to take back and show your brother." He then walked over and sat next Roxas again. "Shall we?" He said with a small smile.

Roxas thought about it. "I would like to record it. It would make Sora jealous." he said. He smiled at Axel. "What songs do you know?" he asked. He didn't want to pick something that he didn't know. He personally knew a lot of songs. But most of them he hadn't played often on the guitar.

Axel thought about it for a minute. "I know a few songs, both lyrics and guitar." He paused to think. "But I'm a fast learner so whatever song you want to record I can learn. Plus it will give us something to do throughout the week." He said with a smile. Happy that things were working out like this. He had hoped this was how it would have been from the beginning. So easy going and no tension. "Just don't pick a song with a hardcore solo. I'm not that good." He said with a chuckle.

"Alright. I need to think for a moment." Roxas said. He took some time to think through the songs that he knew. "Hmm... Do you know the song Beautiful Soul by Jessie McCartney?" he asked. It was his favorite his favorite song of all time. It would be awesome if he knew it.

Axel thought for a moment. "I know the lyrics but I don't know the tabs. It shouldn't be that hard to learn though. It seems like an easy song to learn." Axel smiled at him. "You like that song? I thought only obsessive girls liked him. He does have a good voice though huh?" She nudged him.

"Yeah. I do like that song. But I'm not obsessive." Roxas said. "Besides. It's not a very hard song to learn." He said. He personally knew all the lyrics and how to play it on guitar. It wasn't that hard to learn. So it was one of the first things him and Sora learned how to play.

"Well alright then." He said as he walked into the recording studio where his laptop was and quickly looked up the tabs for the song and began to practice them. After reading through the tabs twice he turned to Roxas. "I can learn these by the end of the day." He paused. "So how do you want this to go? Who does guitar and who does vocals or do we make it a duet?" He asked turning on his recording equipment and testing some of his sound gear.

Roxas followed Axel into the recording studio. "I can do the vocals and you can do guitar." He said. He figured that would be easier than anything else, seeing as he already knew the song. "If that's fine by you." he added. It has been a while since he's done anything that has to do with music, so he might be a little rusty.

Axel nodded before downloading the instrumental track and set it up to feed it through the headset in the studio. He had done this many times by himself before so the set up went quickly. He then opened the door to the studio. "The track is already set up. After you have the vocals done I'll start on the guitar and what not." He paused. "You might have to work the equipment for me." He added after thinking about it. Normally when he did it alone it took longer and he used extra space to record since he had to move from room to room to turn the recorder on and off. So he figured having Roxas help would save a lot of time.

Roxas watched as Axel set everything up. His heart was going a bit faster than normal, him being a bit nervous about doing this. He's never done anything like it before."Alright. I can do that." he told him. "Just tell me when to start." he said. He took a few deep breaths to get ready. He was definitely ready to get started.

Axel gestured for him to enter the studio and then shut the door behind him. He then told him to put the headphones on and held three fingers up.. two.. one. And started the music. Axel listened to the track begin, his mind wandering a bit, he thought maybe he'd do the drums and bass too. Maybe edit the track a bit to make it more original. He'd have to ask Roxas about it when he was done singing. Axel's attention when back to Roxas as he began to sing.

Roxas went into the studio and put the headphones on like Axel said. When the music started he began to sing:

"How was that?" he asked when he was done.

Axel was surprised at first. Roxas's voice was amazing. He couldn't help but letting a smile spread across his face. "A full song in one take?" He smiled at Roxas. "That was beautiful." He said, opening the door for Roxas to come out. "I never would have guessed you could sing that well. Did you have a singing couch before?

Roxas exited the recording studio. "No.. I've never had a singing coach." he said. He was glad that Axel liked his singing. He didn't personally think it was that good. No matter how many people told him otherwise. "Was it really that good?" he asked.

Axel nodded. "There are many things that I am." He paused. "But I am not a liar." He then got up and walked back into the main area of the room and gestured for Roxas to follow him. He then picked his guitar back up. "Now, while you were singing I had an idea." He paused, tuning his guitar slightly. "We should change the song ever so slightly so its more your own. And not just the same song with you singing it." He then started playing similar sounding cords but altered a bit. "What do you think?" He asked with a smile.

Roxas followed Axel back out to the main room. He listened silently to his idea. "Really?! That sounds great!" he said. That was one of the best ideas he has heard from Axel so far. It really would be great. But a part of him felt bad that he wouldn't be doing this with his friends. He shouldn't be leaving them out of this.

Axel smiled a bit. "Glad you think so." He paused looking at his drum set. "I know enough on the drums to play this song." He said standing up and walking over to it. "But you'll have to help me over it to the studio. It takes too long to tear it down, move it, and then put it all back together." He said, still staring at his drum set. They'd have to take off the cymbals and carry it at all angle. It wouldn't be easy.

"Yeah. I can help." Roxas said. He went over to the drums and helped take it apart. It wasn't to hard. He'd helped Sora take apart his drum set before. He then helped carry it into the recording studio. "There! Done!" he exclaimed.

Axel struggled to get his end of the drum set through the door way for a second before finally getting in it. "I think I scratched it." He said bending down to check it out. 'Did you want to hear how you sounded?" He asked as they went back into the recording room after Axel went and got his guitar and bass.

"It'll be fine." Roxas said. He watched Axel leave for a second and come back with the guitar and bass. "Yeah. I would." He said. No matter how much he said he liked it, he would have to hear it for himself before he believed it. And even then, he might not.
