Kaji nodded his head in understanding, though he was still a bit doubtful of the approach decided. From the information he had just heard the Prince's business had something to do with the Dark-Lightian princess. A slight frown appeared on the red haired male's face, as this situation could prove to be rather...tricky. If handled incorrectly and if the princess did end up harmed in some way it could prove disastrous in more ways then one, as she was one of the keys to a peace treaty once more between the Nuetral and Dark'Lightian kingdoms.

His pace once more fell somewhat behind Cyrax, but not enough that he couldn't immediately provide cover for him if it was needed. He was both surprised and yet not that the Prince managed to part the humans that appeared ahead with only wind and without really harming any of them. Though what surprised him more seemed to be the sight of a human shouting they were to retreat and then simply stare at the Prince. His own guard was up, causing his body temperature to rise slightly, as he wasn't entirely trusting that the humans would simply retreat without attempting a hit of some sort or at least a bit of retaliation. Again he changed his pace so he could again shout comfortably without being overheard too much by the humans. "Shall a send a signal to pursue?" he asked calmly, prepared to do whatever would be decided. By a signal he was mainly referring to him sending up a burst of flame into the sky that one of the tower guards in the Nuetral kingdom would be able to see even from such a distance. The 'message' would then be sent towards the knight squads to assemble and pursue any suspicious persons or groups passing near the kingdom, which was a likely chance considering it was one of the few available paths on foot to the human realm.

The yells of surprise from his men caught Oren off guard. He raised his gauntleted hand to his helmet, eschewing all pretense of caution. "Adjutant! What is happening?!" Only the sound of hurricane winds met him in response.

"We're leaving right now," Rex told his guard. Oren responded instantly, glad for his commander's urgency. Offering one last glance at the princess' bodyguard, he pulled his sword free and dashed in front of his Lord just as they exited the palace. On first glance, Oren saw his men cast about and the Prince dashing toward them. Expecting treachery, Oren advanced in attack stance, left arm raised and sword arm ready for attack. Meanwhile, Oren motioned for his recovering troops to guard the general on his retreat, placing his adjutant in command in his stead.

Broadcasting his speech to the outside now, intent that everyone should hear him, Oren said, "My Lord, I am your rearguard. If this...Nuetral...intends any treachery this day, he shall not succeed."

Eyes fixed on the advancing attackers, Watcher Oren stepped forward.

Rex looked at Oren "we must make haste only engage if engaged" rex started to walk down the stairs glancing at the princes body guard with the same look he gave the her before "watcher I under stand what your trying to do but leave them for now" Rex found him self walking right past the prince "remember what I said".

"Yes, Friend...."He stopped for a moment, and looked at the two. "By my Right as Heir to the Royal Family, I deem you both Centurion's. Should you choose to Accept, You will be given all the Privlages that a Centurion is given. I'm Posistive i can trust both of you with my life, to the End of Oblivion."he said. "Let us make haste."he said, running as fast as he could. When he passed the Rebel, he looked at him. "You to, old friend." he said, then walked towards the Castle. His ring glew absently

Kikiyo watched as the humans left to go against the prince. She sat there trying to hold up her courage but it came crashing down with a heavily thud. She looked at Baylee and slowly shook her head, "Courage is something that I am not born with Lee Lee, fear is something that is formed." she said, it really didn't anything to do with her question but she felt that she had to say something. "Choosing a side is not easy for me. I can not go that even if I tried. My friend, I am sorry but we must depart. We must run away. The humans nor the Nuetrals can not do anything without my decision and no one but you knows how I truly feel, they will have to find me if they need me..." she said softly as Kikiyo opened her wings and a large Light and Dark Barrier slowly started to surround the Kingdom, distracting them long enough to allow BayLee and Kikiyo to use the secret passage way to escape the kingdom of Dark'Light.

(Andraus, you make it seem like the kingdom is only across the street. You can't be there already. Edit the post please? May be boring for you to go through the trip and all, but you can't just have your character jump to the dark'light kingdom.)

Baylee closed her eyes and sighed. She didn't want to leave the kingdom, but she couldn't leave the princess to go by herself. No, she couldn't let her friend go by herself. She wanted to protect Kikiyo and be with her. Baylee opened her eyes again and nodded at the princess. She did understand why the princess wanted to leave. Honestly, she didn't blame her for wanting to leave. Baylee wouldn't be able to stand the pressure and marry some dude she doesn't even know. She held out her hand, "Lets god, Kikiyo.".

OOC: Actually they could. You're just assuming their posts were occurring at exactly the same time as yours. :)

(Is it safe to assume now then that all issues have been resolved regarding where we are and how we got there? Or are we still needing to wait before we can post? Don't really want to post something and then have to completely change it because someone else changed their post. :sweat:)

Kaji paused in his footing when the Prince did, mainly to avoid running into him. He nodded his head in understanding when he received the confirmation to send up a signal, and allowed his right arm to suddenly be engulfed in flames to be fired up. He started to raise his arm up, though again paused in his actions when Cyrax spoke again. For a brief moment a frown crossed his face at the sound of the new title. He and his family had served the royal family and the kingdom as knights for many generations, and as far as he could remember there none in the kingdom that held the title that was offered.

"If that is what you wish, then I'll oblige and I am honored" he replied with a small bow, still uncertain exactly what this new rank would truly entail. He wasn't really one to question any in the royal family, at least not out loud, unless it meant possible harm to not only themselves but the kingdom as well. He nodded again, in agreement, that they should make haste and quickly continued the raising of his arm. The fire that encircled it almost violently, shot into the sky at a rapid pace, almost exploding just as violently in the shape of a large bird once it reached a certain altitude. With the size and height he was certain that at least a few of the tower guards at the Nuetral kingdom would see it, or at least a small portion of it despite the large distance.

The flames continued to grow almost on their own, mainly as a safeguard just in case it needed to be a bit larger. A part of him was relatively grateful that such signals were codes known only to those in the Nuetral kingdom, to others it might merely look as if he had merely created some form of artwork in the sky instead. Once that was done his gaze turned back slightly towards Luna, waiting a few moments before following after the Prince. From what he had gathered they had both just been named the same rank, though whether it was a demotion or promotion for one or both of them he wasn't sure. He was curious as to what her thoughts were on the matter, though it would have to wait until later. He moved again, keeping the same sort of distance that he had before between him and Cyrax as he had before.

Fallowing her prince, Luna listened and considered the title as her own, though she knew she could not accept for her own reasons. There was no reason to expand on the idea, there were more important matters at hand.

"My Prince, I thank you greatly for the offer, however it is not my place or rank. I am to serve as your guardian and keep you safe. Such is the vow that binds my services to you." Luna did not make eye contact with the man but continued to watch in all directions. She could feel something wasn't right amoung the forest though she had no evidence as to what it might have been.

In the canopy of the trees, fallowing behind the group, Tahanna fallowed and watched as the progressed towards the Dark-Lightian Kingdom. She would wait, and take her time with this mark. Attacking a group with a man whom she'd just seen send a fire signal into the sky would be a suicide mission and she knew it. Biding her time would be stressful but it was in her own interest.

(Ok I'm just going to come out and ask it, can't the group heading to the Dark'Lightian kingdom just be there already? I know people want us to do the whole journey thing, but I feel like I'm the only one that has noticed something. The humans have traveled to the Nuetral kingdom, gone back to their kingdom, gone to the Dark'Lightian kingdom, and have just passed our characters all the while walking. Our characters have been at a dead run except for that one little pause just now. Does anybody else see the controversy of this at all? If no one else is willing to point out the elephant in the room I will. :sweat:)

(that's right...none of us pointed it out. e__e They have kinda zipped back and forth rather quickly...Maybe the humans have special transportation abilities....?...yeaaah, no. Even I don't get why we didn't get onto them. I think we jumped on andy because the princess was about to run away and he got there immediately.)

(I didn't see it posted anywhere about special transportation abilities, from what I gathered they were walking. :sweat: And although that may be, but if you look at the past posts it's sort of been indirectly stated we were already there. And again if you look Andraus hadn't technically said we were there until after the humans passed by him and leader whispered to him right as the humans were leaving the palace. So I don't think it was really his fault, or really anyone's since we didn't know at the time how far apart the kingdoms were and making educated guesses, for posting before that we were there. This has also sort of backed us into a corner you know? There's nothing really for the Nuetrals then to interact with. People jumped down people's throats when stated we were there, the humans already passed by us, there's a human stalking us in the trees but hasn't really made her presence fully known since she's hiding from us in the trees. There's nothing really left except for us to run towards the palace, which equates to about a sentence or two for a post. I mean I guess we could talk to some squirrels or something while we're running, not that any of us can understand them. :sweat: A time skip isn't really fair since I think we're traveling faster then the humans did by running compared to their walking. I will say I did mention this in a pm, mainly because I didn't really want to post here and possibly start a fight. The only reason I'm posting it here now is simply for the fact I've no idea where we can really go from here, or where exactly we are. So I'm going to offer the solution to just say we're now. This will let us continue, this will let someone who wishes to post their intro be able to without having to talk to nothing but thin air since the Princess and her guardian are gone. The queen went into the garden, but was sort of ignored so she hasn't really posted again for awhile since she no longer really has anyone to interact with until either we arrive or until the character Lucian able to come into the picture with the upcoming intro, but then if the queen post again, then that sort of leave him out in space with no one, which is no fun. So Happy, Goth I implore you please help us with some resolution to this issue. Otherwise I'm just sitting here giggling like a maniac, while I type, with nothing else to do. :sweat:)

(Yeah, i think that's a good idea...they'll be gone and you guys will be there. Much easier. I don't want people being ignored or left behind, so I agree that it'd be best to just move it along like that. Though, if you want to talk to some squirrels, then go ahead because I'd enjoy reading that. xD Reminds me of how my family talks to the cats...but uh, yeah, lets wait for gothy and happy. we can giggle together while we wait! )

(( I wanted to use the girl in the trees but when it was posted the group of three was already at the castle I had to kind of write around that. I'd be happy to just push her off to the side for now, and just moving forward with this thread if that's what's needed. Besides, I may be able to find a better way to bring her in other then flat out confronting the prince, guardian and knight.))
