I will be very happy if we can have a few days of sun. It has pretty much been raining here every couple of days since it seems like November. It probably hasn't been that long, but it sure feels like it. My yard has turned into a bog, one of our neighbors about has a pond instead of a yard. I haven't even gone to look at my creek. It is probably about out of the bank by now. We just need a few days to dry up some.

I know! that's exactly how it feels here. It's quite ridiculous! I hate it. D;

I was actually sort of happy to see snow a few weeks ago because it was something different. It didn't last long. It was pretty, but then it melted the next day & we were back to rain.

We haven't had that even. Just rain and storms and gloomy days. D; Makes me miss the beach and the summertime something fierce.

I can't wait to see spring. I want to see stuff bloom & have some color around the area.

i can't wait till spring because then i can walk without ending up on my behind.

I have done that a few times. I hate falling or slipping.

I'm pretty darn clumsy so I really understand that. Lol

The worst time I was when I was leaving for work. The porch was slick from rain & a little frost. My foot slipped on the top step. I hit every step down & ended up on the gravel walkway. My husband was working nights then & was asleep. I couldn't get up. I tried to yell to him, but he couldn't hear me. I tried getting up, but couldn't. I crawled to the side of the house & beat on the wall. He still couldn't hear me. I finally crawled up the steps to the door. He finally heard me.
I had cracked my tailbone & had big nasty bruises on my butt & the back of my thighs. I couldn't work for a while & couldn't stand to sit down for a long time.
I don't ever want to go down the steps like that again.

Freaking ouch!! Oh my word. I've busted it like that. Just not down steps.

3 winters ago I was playing in the snow. hit a slick spot and slid down a hill and hit a tree. It was super nasty. D;
I'm glad youre okay though! that sounds really painful.

ochies.. didnt' break nothing but i lost my footing, or slipped on our old high schools stairs and went down a flight myself. it HURT. and walking after that was a pain cause i got both upper legs, bum and my back. MOVING hurt 'shakes head' but if you can move they expect you in school 'sigh' my mum didn't make me go she had me stay home in bed. then agian as a kid i had extreme mback problems and sometimes couldn't move period couldn't straighten or anything so mom would let me stay home on those days
i'd end up sleeping the full day an dnight 'makes face'

deadline, yeah i should add that, is the end of next month, err this month, Bah end of the month that starts this friday. and yeah my back problems have since kinda fixed themselves sometimes they flare up but i've been sleepign in a recliner which has helped.

yes the end of march 'nods' 'goes to update witht he ending date of the raffle' and yeah i know im relieved 'nods' its nice not to hurt.

so far, not that i've checked, no ones bought any tickets 'shrugs' heck I'm almost tempted neough to buy one just so SOMEONE did lol.

meh if my partner had been on and helping i'd still bein the other but he wasn't so had to make this thread 'nods' but at least now if i want to do something i can 'nods'

Sorry i hadn't eaten all day and when i don't eat i get all emotional 'makes face' i made some Noodles and chesse for supper. it helped a bit.
