What length of a time skip did you have in mind? I had some character ideas swimming through my head and a little bit of a time skip would help integrate those ideas into a character. Not that he's that original anyways x3.

Yeah, my hopes for the Walking Dead have dimmed. It's become formulaic, trite, predictable, dull, and uninspired. In my opinion it's a horribly written soap opera with zombies. There's so much potential that gets wasted and with a production budget like they have the show should be absolutely amazing. I hope the writers take the opportunity handed to them and make the next season something worthwhile. The conditions are right for some improvement. Not that I put a whole lot of faith in it.

If the purpose of a time skip is to weed out inactive members several weeks to several months would suffice. Some of the permanently inactive characters could have died early in the beginning while others could have simply disappeared or left the group allowing for those characters to return if the player wanted.

It would also steer the story further into the apocalypse so a synopsis of what has happened in the last several weeks/months could effectively orchestrate a good point of direction for the roleplay to go. A engaging story general means a active roleplay. I'm not saying the current place in the story isn't engaging, I actually quite like the concept of starting early in the apocalypse. However, if the current players aren't active with the story now a change of scenery might entice them to come back.

It'd be a shame to miss out cool death scenes though lol, but we can't be too grisly anyways, we'll we should make a decent intriguing post then, but one that includes current active players, but will leave space for new ones to come in or old ones to come back. Need to set the scene or location, and we can post from our characters points of view? I donne know, I'm tire... too much watching Cartoon HD!

You can always say they got surrounded and you heard screams but you never knew if they actually died or not xD so if they want to use their old characters they can. We should probably ask them if they want to come back first
