I'm gonna say that ironman could kick batman's butt, but batman is the better super hero because he doesn't let it go to his head.

True, Ginger. Plus, in the movies at least, Iron Man basically created all of his enemies.

Didn't iron man sorta lead the charge in the anti-mutant movement, in the comics? I know he was definitely more of a jerk, than they made him in the movies.

Ginger, yeah, he did. Iron Man in the comic is a huge dick.

Have you guys heard anything about Marvel merging its cinematic universe with X-Men universe? Because a friend of mine told me something about that, but she didn't know much.

It really depends on what kinda dollar signs Fox wants to keep for themselves versus how much they figure they might earn with a temporary merger.

That's okay, hummy :)

Ginger, that is a helpful chart. I wish they kind of all merged though, and we could have Spider-Man in the Avengers :P I know, that'll never happen.

It's one of the weaknesses/strengths of the US IP rights system. Movies, print, tv... the different forms of media are separately licensed... so, one company can write the comics, one company makes the movies, one company can use it for tv, etc... and those might be split even further (like if there's a cartoon and live action tv series going on at the same time) and that's just for one character. Of course, it might be worth more in groups (like the X-men) so they usually sell them in chunks, that way. Problem is the system hasn't been optimized for companies with a LOT of IP like Marvel. 90% of the time, it's one author/artist and one character that's getting traded. And the system works, for that. In our case, here, they've ruined our chances of spiderman/avengers because of it. So it does have its downsides.

I would rather see spiderman hanging with the x-men, myself. The avengers are a little over-powered. Spidey is a bigger asset to the mutants. ^_^

I love the new spiderman movies but it was annoying that they only release it because if they didn't produce another spiderman film the rights would automatically go back to marvel. I have hope spidey might be with the avengers because I think the two companies should work together out of respect for the fans.

I really like the new Spidey movies, I find that they follow the comics pretty well.
