" You and Miss Murray are in serious danger. We found information and photos of you both on a flash drive. I feel the best course of action is for you to both stay here and help figure out who is doing this. " Fury said and looked at Miss Murray. " We have a team keeping your father safe." He added not wanting someone he had trusted be killed by these villains.


" Thank you. " Kathryn said and sat down in a chair wondering how many if her hacker friends had died because of her. " I'll willingly help figure out who's behind this. " She said and also wanted to help Tony with that new suit of his. " Though I still wonder who it was once for. " Kathryn thought.

Bruce was glad that Kathryn and Amelia would be able to stay here and help. Though he had a feeling it might be file a long time if they couldn't figure out who was behind all this. It bothered Bruce that these people knew about Kathryn and Amelia and did wonder if they knew about Tony and himself protecting them.

"Does that mean we're staying here?" Amelia wondered where she was going to sleep and then asked Phil if she could talk to him off to the side. Going down the hallway away from listening ears she asked him a few questions. He answered the ones he could as far as his knowledge and secrets would go. Walking back to the others she crossed her arms over her chest "Fine I'll help, but only because Phil asked so nicely" she rolled her eyes at Fury who ignored her. He was used to this from people.

"So if that's everything, we'll work on locating these...uh criminals and maybe the girls can help track them down" Tony spoke adding "I still have things to do so if that's it, then you know where the front door is, don't let it hit you on the way out" then he started wondering what was the connection to all of this. He was a genius in technology as well as engineering, but not really all that much about people.

" Let me know what I can do. " Clint said before he left and headed to meet with a few if his contacts.

"I'm glad you agreed to help. " Bruce said wondering what they needed to do to start figuring out who was behind this. " Maybe we should take a look at the people you two know. Maybe they are somehow involved. " He suggested.

" It's possible. Only person I can think of is my mom. We've never got along after she divorced my dad in order to marry someone else. " Kathryn said and had always disliked her step dad , though she had only met him a few times over the last 15 years. Most of the time she just figuered he was a creepy guy.

Amelia wasn't sure how the people she would know be able to help, she knew a few people, but never anyone close enough to her like family. She didn't keep people that close because she was always on the move traveling around to see the world. "We can try" she stated.

Tony looked at Amelia "Why, don't you have family or friends?" he asked her waiting for a reply as she just shrugged then shook her head hearing her say "Friends not so much and family, I grew up a bit alone without family. Wait, they wouldn't go after the monks in Egypt would they?" they weren't really monks, but they did raise her for years since she was so little. Tony looked at Bruce "They're probably going to try and lure the girls out, so they could be going after whoever they can"

" I agree. " Bruce said having a feeling this was going to be difficult. " I have a feeling they'll go after anyone. They won't give up now that you both are with SHIELD. " He said and knew both Amelia and Kathryn were safe here at Stark Tower. Bruce had a feeling that they needed to prepare for a fight though wasn't sure if it would come to that.

" I have a feeling they'll do that too. That's why I'm determined to fight back. " Kathryn said. She knew she wasn't a damsel in distress and was going to do what ever she could to find out who these people were and why they warned her and Amelia. " I don't think they want us two dead. Though I'm not sure why I think that. " She said and tried to stay calm.

"If they go after the monks, I'll make Loki look like a complete angel when he visited the last time" she knew he had and knew what he had done. But if anyone went after her monk like friends who raised her in Egpyt, well that wouldn't be good for anyone. "Should I contact them to warn them?" she knew she could without using technology as long as she could before tomorrow would come.

"Woah woah, calm down, they haven't gone after anyone yet. Don't worry it will probably be fine, why don't for right now we relax, get some rest, and just wait to do things by tomorrow. If you want to contact them you can, but how are you going to contact people who don't use the telephone?" Tony asked not sure how that was going to work "Dream walking, it's like telepathy in your dreams, speaking to others while you're asleep, or sending a message while unconsciously conscious" though that probably didn't make sense and for once Tony was confused.

"Alright, do what you can here, we're going back to headquarters-" Fury began but his phone rang as he answered it then he looked to Hawkeye "Barton" shutting his phone off "I want you and Stark to keep an eye on Miss Murray here until all of this blows over. Don't take your eyes off her" obviously except for private times like showers and such, but the men already knew that. "As for you, Miss Amisi, Banner will watch over you. Keep you from destroying things. Agent Coulson let's go" and they left the mansion.

" Sure thing. " Clint said and watched Fury leave.


" Don't worry he doesn't trust me either not to destroy things. You COUKD say I broke Harlem a while ago. " Bruce said and was curious on what dream walking was. " I don't understand what dream walking is but it sounds like what some of the old men in Calcutta did to communicate with their students that lived far away. " He said.

Kathryn felt nervous about being watched by Agent Barton but seemed to trust Tony a bit more. " I promise not to be a total pain in the neck. Can't promise to stay out of trouble fully, since there's no fun in that. " She said jokingly. She only joked around when she was nervous and used that to cope with the anxiety she felt.

(I'm not only on vacation, but I'm kind of sick right now. Allergies are kicking my butt right now. I will sleep soon)

"Does that mean I can't hit him? Or kill him and bring him back then do it again?" she joked, she wasn't a necromancer though, in which she was fine with "Yes, dream walking is pretty easy, it's how you communicate through dreams no matter where you are" Amelia spoke "Question, when you turn into the big cuddly guy, are you both aware of what's going on?" just a question she recently thought about. She did think he was cuddly, but then again she thought that about both of them.

"Right" Barton rolled his eyes watching Tony walk over giving him a slight nudge "Liven up, Barton, she's only a woman" who was very smart and probably could beat him at intelligence. Not to mention looks, but then again Tony wasn't into men, only women. "Well, why don't we get you girls settled. Come on Miss Murray, Ill show you to your room" Tony suggested holding his arm out like a gentlemen.

" We are both aware to extent. It's kind of hard to explain since somtimes I don't remember much of the battles. Though I do remember the battle of New York quite well. " Bruce said and offered her his arm. He wanted to be polite and did like Amelia as a friend though did wonder what the future held.

" Thank you. " Kathryn said and took his arm. She was ready for some sleep since she knew it would help her relax. It was too much for her and feared her dad was in danger, even though she knew he was safe. " I just wonder what's going to happen while I'm here. "She thought to herself.

Ameila took his arm "Sounds awesome to me, having two heads is better than one, at least John Heywood said that back in 1546, though she knew a little about that, she knew more about magic, and things that involved less thinking. More feeling or action. Smiling she wondered if one day she could see him in person, though others would probably say she wouldn't want to do that.

"If you can't sleep, there is Melatonin to help ease your brain down, and there is alcohol of your choosing. Just don't mix the two, alright" he wasn't saying it as a question, just a statement, but he figured she would know better than to mix the two. One was a sleep aid, the other was just alcohol depending on which one would be chosen, together would just be an overdose. "So there is a bathroom to every main room, you and miss Amisi will stay in rooms such as those and across the hall from each other. If you have any questions ask Jarvis, whether it's to locate someone, being under attack, or just anything. Ask him."

" That is true. That's why I like working with Tony. We tend to have ideas that work well together, though we both have our own projects we like to do." Bruce said and lead Amelia to her room." If you need anything just ask JARVIS or if you need Tony or myself, he'll tell you were we'll be. You and Miss Murray have rooms close to each other incase you need someone to talk to." He added.

" I take Melatonin. I do drink, just not very much." Kathryn said as they walked and was glad Amelia was close by." Let me know if you would like my help with anything. I don't want to be a pain ,but I dont want to be bored either." She said hoping she could help somehow.

"Alright, cool. I might go to take a nap in a little bit, I'm starting to feel worn out" Amelia didn't know why, but she felt like she was burning up, though the temperature of her skin would probably be the opposite of it. Letting go of his arm she smiled as they finally arrived to the room she would be staying in for awhile. "Well thank you for talking to me and showing me the way to my room" Amelia spoke making sure to keep the respect known. She was raised to give respect when need "Guten Abend" she walked into her room before Tony and Kathryn showed up closing her door.

"I'll let you know if anything comes up, for now just get some rest, if you decide to go out into the city. Have one of us go with you, it would be fun to have an outing on the town with a couple of beautiful ladies. Have a good rest" Tony said taking her hand in his kissing it slightly just as a sign of respect or the fact he did this to just about every woman who would let him. Then he walked away so that she could have more time to herself.

Bruce waved goodnight and headed to the lab wanting to think a bit about the day. He wanted to ask Tony what he thought about all this and hoped Amelia and Kathryn would be able to stay safe here.


Kathryn blushed a little bit and looked around her room. She loved that it was spacious and that the bed was larger than the one she had at home. " After this I'm going to get a bad like this. " she said and flopped on the bed thinking about the day. Kathryn wanted to believe she would be able to go back to her normal life but knew something might change that.

(so my mind i keep saying i have a headache over and over and over again. Sadly this is true, but I love my roleplays with everyone, so here I am ready to post post post post post)

Amelia hid in her room looking around in the darkness not yet turning the light on glad there weren't sensory lights. A headache formed in her mind as she flipped the switch on feeling her headache more now and made her way to the bathroom. 'Water, that's all I need is water' she closed the bathroom door while turning the shower water on. Once she heard the water running she stripped out of her clothing she wore for the day letting it fall to the floor as she ran her fingers through her hair making sure everything was out of it. Stepping into the show she began to remember the events that occurred.

After her shower in which she stayed in for about an hour, she got out drying off, and wrapping the towel around her. She walked to the dresser where the extra clothes would be and began looking through them briefly. Dresses, pants, shirts...she started wondering how much did the Avengers know about her already. Most of the styles were things she did like to wear. Picking out a long t-shirt for pajama wear, she slipped it on, and some ankle socks putting the towel in the hamper. Then she realized she didn't get any of her nightly tea. She would have to remember that for next time. Next time? Did she even want there to be a next time? A lot had happened in one day. She wasn't looking forward to day two. Climbing in the bed she asked Jarvis to turn the lights off and thanked him when he did so. Then she just laid there. Wondering.

Tony moved back to his workshop hoping the day was over and they could begin a new one tomorrow. He actually wanted to get back to working on that device he was trying to make. When he heard foot steps he figured it was Banner "How is Amelia doing?" he figured he would ask as he started looking up the information on the two of them comparing things and trying to trace it back to something his computer scanners caught earlier when they were out.

" She is doing well but looked tired. " Bruce said. " How was Kathryn?" He asked knowing that tomorrow was a new day for all of them and a chance to find out more about why these ladies were targets.

Kathryn slept fitfully and woke up at 4:30 with a headache. She didn't know who would be up at this hour and would just lay thier till she knew if someone was awake.

"Probably exhausted after a long day. Pretty much since this morning things have been happening and then the attack at the nursery home." Tony spoke looking over some diagrams. "Kathryn was quite the company. Haven't been around a woman in awhile besides pepper that wouldn't throw themselves at me" though Tony was being a bit egotistical this time and he knew it.

Amelia couldn't sleep no matter how hard she had tried to even as Jarvis played some nature sounds for her to hear just in her room. Standing up she walked out of her room shutting the door knocking on Kathryn's door across the hallway "Um...are you awake?" she didn't knock loudly in case she wasn't awake, but she had to talk to someone else or at least felt the need to.

" I am awake. " Kathryn said and sat up to greet Amelia. " You having trouble too?" She asked and rubbed her head not liking that it hurt a bit.

" Same with Amelia. They both seem like nice people. " Bruce said and looked at the time. "We should get some rest even if it's for a few hours. " He said knowing sometimes Tony stayed up all night.

Amelia opened the door slowly "Yea, kinda. I guess too much has happened and even the simple aid of medicine can't help me" she was starting to wonder if they had vodka in the mansion, but she would do that later closer towards the night. Amelia walked in closing the door so she could sit on the bed with Kathryn "Headache?"

"No, I want to get as much information on what we're dealing with as possible" not to mention he wanted to try to finish the suit he was originally making for Pepper. Now he just wanted to finish it so it would be done and out of the way. "How are you holding up? Clint says everything is fine where he is at, nothing to report.

" Yeah. Might have been the melatonin I took. Usually it helps but not when I'm stressed like this. " Kathryn said roughing her head.


" Holding up alright. I'm going to get some sleep but wake me if you need me. " Bruce said and was glad Clint was fine. He just hoped things did stay calm or at least till they had more information.

Amelia placed her hand over Kathryn's head "Excuse me for a moment" a warm light formed around her hand and over the spot where Kathryn was rubbing her head as she focused on making the pain disappear. Her light stopped after a moment and she moved her hand "Better?"

"Will do" Tony said going back to what he was working on with the schematics trying to place pieces together. He focused on the screens wondering what to figure out next as he started checking out information. "Clint everything okay on your end still?" he asked through the computer screen set up to call a team member.

" Much better. Thank you. " Kathryn said and really did feel good. " I kept dreaming about my dad. I feel he knows something about this but since he's unwell I don't dare ask him. " She said hoping they all were safe.

" Things are pretty calm at the moment. Know there are some goons staring at me but can't tell where they are hidng. " He said knowing that for now they all were safe.

Amelia shrugged as she heard a rumble "Still not used to thunder" she lived in Egypt for awhile, mostly away from all the storms, and explored down below to where she barely heard them. "Well I'm sure we will find out soon more information" though she wasn't sure how the both of them were involved in something like this.

"Well it sounds like you have a storm on the way, though it doesn't seem like it will have much rain, so be careful out there we still need you to keep an eye on the father." Tony said "I'm going to get some rest, let me know if anything happens" he had stayed up for awhile and knew he probably should get his sleep. Can't be Iron man with no sleep or little sleep.

" I don't mind thunder storms like this. It's the ones that get nasty I don't like. " Kathryn said and heard the rain fall. It was different being in a skyscraper such as this during a thunder storm and wanted to watch it for a little bit, but only if Amelia wanted to watch with her. " I'm sure we will. I just have a feeling it will be information we both won't like. "

" I will. And this storm isn't much compared to what we've witnessed before. " Clint said and was glad Tony was going to get some rest. He had a feeling that his friend might need it.

"I don't mind them, I'm just not quite used to them yet" Amelia responded thinking how much she would prefer a sand storm knowing how to handle one of those. "Yes, I could see why" Amelia grew silent watching the rain, of course she knew what rain was and what it felt like. However, she much enjoyed the heat rather than the cool feeling of the rain that would fall from the sky. Sometimes she didn't understand how water did fall from the sky, but she wouldn't ask anyone that. Only a child would ask such an obvious answered question. Though she didn't pick up on that obviousness very much. Her thoughts focused solely on the rain as it poured.

Tony clicked off the intercom saying "Stark Out" and told Jarvis to shut off the lights as he headed to bed unknown to what would happen next. Tony cleaned up and then plopped down on his bed figuring the girls were already asleep. Once he got under the covers he was out like a light. And that's what just happened, any lights in the entire building were out, this didn't include Jarvis since he was run on his very own power source.
