Lain smiled. "One soul to go?" She asked making a joke.

Alex looked at her and nodded at her.

"Eat up pup." Lain tossed it into his mouth.

Alex got the soul and ate the soul and he looked at her while he was done and went to her and held her tight.

"Are you okay?" Lain asked hugging him. Her leg was still bleeding, but she had been so scared for him she forgot about it.

Alex looked at her and then picked her up and said "we should find a place to stay the night." Alex looked at her and smiled a bit.

Lain squeaked when he picked her up. " Alex let's just go back home."

Alex looked at him and walked out and said "the bike is gone and won't come back until a few hours besides you are hurt right now you need to rest." Alex walked to a hotel for the students if they are tired from the missions.

Lain sighed. Staying here didn't sound so fun, but she was in no condition to argue.

Alex got there in time and got to a room and put her down on the bed and said "we gotta rest."

"C-can you wrap my leg?" Lain asked.

Alex looked at her and smiled at her and then got some band aids and wraps her leg up and to let it heal for the night. "you must rest alright Lain."

Lain nodded. "You too. " She said laying on the bed. She was so small there was plenty of room he could lay next to her if he wanted.

Alex nodded and then took off his jacket and shirt to see if he had scars on his chest. Alex did and he sigh and sat next to her and lay down next to her and he was shirtless but he didn't care at this point.

"Here, let me take care of those." Lain said softly.

Alex looked at her and looked away a bit and then said "Don't worry about it." Alex was blushing.

"No. Come on. Don't be bashful. We're friends right? We're supposed to take care of each other. " Lain said softly.

Alex didn't look at her and then sigh and sat up a bit and looked at her "you must be a little dumb Lain." Alex looked at her with passionate eyes.

"Well we didn't exactly say what we are to each other...." Lain blushed looking at her hands in her lap.

Alex looked at her and then got closer to her and put his hand on her hand and smiled softly "Tell me something how you feel about me?"

"I really care for you. M-more than a friend." Lain admitted blushing more.

Alex looked at her and grabbed her shoulders and kissed her on the cheek. "Lain I like you more then a friend."

"So what's that mean for us? Does that mean we're a thing?"

Alex looked at her and then he blushed and lift up her chin and nodded "only if you want to."

Lain nodded. "I do wanna." She said softly.
