Lilith yawned some and was soon fast asleep feeling that she really needed the sleep and hopefully wouldn't need blood once she woke up

Angel sipped at his drink and sat in the corner and couldn't help but watch her sleep while he sipped his drink. She was really pretty. In the morning he awakes in the corner the glass on the floor and he fells a slight headache. He stands up and feels a little of balance, though he did have a couple drinks before he fell asleep. He got some water and sipped that slowly.

Once morning came Lilith awoke and yawned feeling quite a bit better and stretched some before sitting up and tried to move her legs flinching some at the pain that she was still having not quite understanding why it hurt so much. She looked around some wondering a bit where Angel was and also a bit if he was going to let her go home on her own or not.

Angel saw that she was up and finished his water then walked over to her. "Morning, feeling any better?" he asked kindly. He thught she looked much better.

"Ah yes thank you I'm feeling allot better" Lilith smiled easily. but then paused a slight frown coming to her lips. "So... what now?" she asked curiously but softly.

"We stay here a bit, no doubt that hunter is searching for us, to kill me and take you in." he said. "I've already worked against the guy who hired me, I can't go back just like that, even if I did I'd have to make sure you aren't dangerous." He sat down on the chair and sighed. "Figures the first Vampire I'm sent after makes things complicated. Oh well, it seems it was a set up from the start so I can't blame you."

"I would think all your targets would be complicated in one way or another. I mean... just because you're put on the hit list doesn't mean you did anything wrong... sometimes... you're just kept on the hit list because you run to save your own life, or someone elses." Lilith pointed out then sighed and laid her head back on the pillow. "either way once you're on even just a small hit list your life is ruined forever." she frowned. She then shook her head a bit to clear her mind "So.... mind telling me how you got into being a hunter?" she asked curiously.

He sighed and looked at her. "My family was slaughtered by a mark someone failed to kill, good thing I was out with Kai at the time because I wouldn't be here. That's why I became a hunter." He looks a little rigid. "I don't want to see the innocent get hurt by those that shouldn't have that chance. I know some are on there by chance but others are truly dangerous and will hurt again and again."

Lilith listened and gave him a sad look when she heard him understanding the pain of loosing someone near and dear. Slowly she moved so her legs were hanging off the bed and she was sitting up trying to hide the flinch of pain that came after. "Well you don't have to worry about me trying to run away for awhile... I'd be surprised if I could even walk very far right now." she sighed softly.

He sighed. "Honestly I don't care. You've had plenty of opportunities to hurt me yet you haven't." he said. "Now it's more about the company, I don't fully trust you yet but it's nice to have someone else around. Kai understands me but besides her and Trish I have no friends. Leave if you wish just be warned your safer here for now." he said kindly no sadness showing. He wasn't sad he had gotten over the past and felt like he was making his family proud, and he tended to watch friends die so he didn't mind only have two that wouldn't so easily.

Lilith looked off for a few minutes before hearing a bit of a comotion and looked up to where the door was to the upstairs. "I think something's going on up there? she murmured unsure of what it was but could hear growling that sounded like Angel's wolf.

Angel heard Kai's thoughts immediately. "Suspicious person." he said and grabbed her arm gently. "You need to come with me." he said and ran up the stairs and outside his gun pulled already. He got outside and looked for where Kai could be. He heard her on the other side of the building and ran finding her growling at a strange male. He had his gun aim and he was ready to take the shot unseen. He notices he's too late and the growling is from them tying her up. The boss then tranquilizes Kai and sees Angel, smirks evily as he picks Kai up with the hunter's help and runs off. Angel let go of her and ran for after them but very soon finds them on a cart and finds them pulling away. He slumps on a tree and looks after them firing a few bullets but unable to focus enough. He could hear Kai's tortured thoughts and presses his hands to his ears trying to make it more barable. He can fell Kai try to struggle but soon losing consciousness.

Lilith fallowed quietly before trying to see where the carriage was going but as she moved to run after the them her legs suddenly gave out and she caught herself before she landed face first on the ground. She frowned as she stared down before slowly pushing herself up and grabbed a tree to help her stand again. "I'm sorry" She frowned sadly wishing she could have caught up to the men faster.

He slowly holstered his gun and got up quietly. He felt empty like he was just a shell. Kai had been his friend since childhood. He grew up with her. He didn't know how he could help her. He looked at her blankly though helped her support her weight with his arm. "Lets get back inside so we can plan on how to get her back." you could tell that he was holding back sadness now. "I need to comprehend what just happened first, it happened so fast."

"Angel... I know it's hard but we should at least find where they took her as fast as we can... before the trail goes cold." Lilith explained softly since she could clearly smell and sense where the men had gone and needed to move fast so she could keep the trail.

He looked at her and nodded. "Okay", he still sounded not all there. "Lead the way, we should make sure that we stay hidden though, just in case." he said. He knew she was right, it just hurt, he didn't even sense Kai where he used to all the time, even when they slept. It felt lonely.

Lilith frowned but quickly fallowed the trail leading him to where she sensed they had taken the wolf and watched as she saw the boss and some of the men standing and talking outside what seemed to be a crate where she could sense the wolf. "you know more about this guy then I do, what should we do?" she asked curiously but quietly to Angel.

He saw the scene before him. "Shit." he had regained himself on the way here and knew they would be lucky to get out alive without help. "This is his base, the main one he has all his resources are here. That crate is lined to destroy anything inside it if it's tampered with without the use of the key that only he has on his person." he said. He had to think of a way to get Kai back. "I think we might need some help." he said. "Now that we know where she is we can go see if Trish knows anyone that can help us. He won't hurt Kai, she's bait to lure me out after all." he started walking quietly back towards the borthol. It took a little time and when they got there it was evening. "Do you need blood?" he asked her. "If you need I wouldn't mind sense it's by permission."

"No I'm okay... why don't you go on in and talk with your friend... try to relax some or something... I think I just need to relax and get some fresh air right now." she sighed softly hoping he wouldn't mind since she really had no reason to run off right now or anything.

He sighed and sat down on a bench outside. "I will in a bit." he said. Or maybe she'll come out here looking for me, she knows that I'm gone and that I usually come back later on a day that I run off like that to tell her I'll be gone longer." he knew Trish too well. And sure enough she came out and noticed him and her but not Kai. She ran over to him and saw what happened by the way his face still looked. "Come on in, I know some people that I can call." she said. "I'd rather not go inside yet, can you have them meet us here?" She nodded. "Yeah, My friend that I've know for a little bit now wouldn't mind helping.he stops by in some of my buisnesses here and there." she said. She then runs into the brothel and sends a messenger with a note to her friend.

Lilith watched Angel actually looking rather worried before moving to grab a thick limb on one of the trees and pull herself up so she could sit on it and lean against the tree thinking a bit as to what had been going on and how she could help Angel.

Angel looks up at the darkening sky and remembers all those nights he would lay on Kai and they would do that, just relax after a long day. He missed her in his head and being around. He needed to get her back. He heard a nose and grabbed a throwing knife and skewered a rabbit. He sighed and got up to get it and pulled his knife out. He made sure the rabbit was good to cook and started building a fire to cook it. He realized that he was actually very hungry.

Lilith frowned as it got dark and looked over to Angel as he cooked the rabbit. "Should we go once night falls?" she asked softly knowing the sooner they got Kei the better.

He was almost done with the rabbit when she spoke. "That place is a fortress, nothing like that rag tag group that kidnapped us, they are the real deal, trained merc's. He need at least another person. I can control the elements sure but that's not enough, even with the help of a vampire." he said then noticed the rabbit was done and took the stick it was on from over the fire. "Want some?" he asked, he actually didn't know if vampires could eat normal food like that.

Lilith went quiet again as she listened to him and nodded some before looking over at him with a frown and shook her head. "I don't eat rabbit." she frowned some then looked up at the sky. "Thank you though." she said softly then opened her hand and a bird landed in it with a note that she read quietly. "if we leave and get there within two hours we should be able to get in and get the key... I know someone that works there. she explained softly glancing over at Angel wondering if he would at least want to try.
