It's fine. I doubt the servants would have talked so openly, but I figured since Alan seems so kind to the servants, he wouldn't mind. Plus, I figured that Julian would have been in the position long enough to have earned some trust.

I wish I knew what breed it was. it is a beautiful horse and I thought it looked good for one that was in his stables.

and I love your man servant. he would have been one of the few that Alan had not fed from. seeing as Alan would want to keep him around as long as he could. now Julian could be a blood servant, meaning he has feed of Alan's blood. it would make him much older then he seems. about ten years for ever pint he takes from Alan. also it would make him stronger and if he drank from him often enough he would not age. but with your description I would think if he is a blood servant he dose not take the blood that often.

by the way when I see the name Julian I think frost hair and pale blue eyes like water trapped under glasure ice. a good name for one of the winter born.

yep. I too belive that the horse is a mix breed. I have not seen one of that stock with that pattern.

ah I had ment to tell you. the chamber where the garden is is much larger then just the guardens. think miles of a hallowed out chamber that is filled with farms, the garden near the house and a forest. all of that would have ridding trails and it would be what his guests had done in the past to ride. seeing as the land around the fortress is filled with wild animals and deep drop offs, it is only safer.
