My throat is so sore. D: I just screamed at my mom and now it hurts!
I guess that's what I get for screaming, though. :x

(She was trying to talk to me from downstairs while I was upstairs and I didn't feel like going downstairs to tell her and she obviously didn't feel like coming upstairs to hear me so I screamed.)

Somehow it's easier for me to yell louder at my mom than at anyone else.

I hope it's not a case of my trying to interject with things that peeps hardly know a thing about, so they don't reply because they don't know how. I've been told this has been the case before.

On the other hand, well... I'm less than established around here.

That sounds like a possibility.
I know you've talked a bit before about those games you like to play. I don't know much about games. Maybe you could start a thread in the gaming forum? (At least I'm pretty sure there's a forum about games and technology.)

It's easier to start conversations when the topic is something relatable to most people, I guess. C:

I could, though it doesn't seem all that active to begin with. I'll keep it in mind, though.

I know it's hard to jump into conversations, but once you get going it's so much fun!

I agree with Ava. I was never much of one to post in the hangouts, because I'm more of a shy person, and I hate just jumping into conversations. It feels like I may be interrupting people. But now that the rest of the forums have really died down, the only way to interact seems to be the hangouts. You just gotta put yourself out there. You'll find something you have in common with others eventually. Just post what you feel like saying until you find that person.

Well, as mentioned, I have been looking for people to expand some of my gaming groups with. Well... build a gaming group with.

And well, alot of my old RP partners vanished without a trace. Very sad times. I would hope to rebuild that, though, well... I've some quirks that might try to show up during those sessions in some circumstances.

That said, I'm trying not to be too much of a stranger. And by now, one knows I love cats, or at least lolcats.

Hey, if you're into roleplay you could also try setting up a request thread in the Roleplay Hall. :) That might help get the ball rolling.
You can request to roleplay with fandoms that you're a part of and people who also like that fandom can join in with you, or you can find a common ground with characters, ideas, plots, etc.

When I first joined Mene, I also wanted to get involved in RP because I haven't done it since mid 2011. It didn't take too long to find RP partners, and now that I have them it's actually very enjoyable to RP. You can even browse some of the other RP request threads and find plots, ideas, characters, fandoms that you like and start a RP with the person who's looking.

Lately, I've been doing the latter, though suffice to say, I'm going to have to build on a very old guild RP I had going back in my Gaia days, though well.... I'm starting to think I might need help in the execution. As I've been told, the concept itself is an interesting one.

As for other sorts I've done... well... I have a hole prepared to jump into.

I love cats, but my love for cats is basically narrowed down to black and white cats. Not just white or just black but black AND white. I had a cat before that I LOVED, but I wasn't allowed to take him to my first apartment, so I had to leave him at my mom's house, and he ran away. I still cry when I look at pictures of him. I love him so much. I've had my current cat for two years now. He's my baby. I love him. They're both a lot alike. They're both very loyal to me and antisocial with almost everyone else.
