Ghosting an item just means you borrowed a multi equip item from someone, put it on and then sent it back. So it still shows on your avatar but if you change it it disappears and because you don't have the item anymore you can't put it back.

Oooh well that wouldn't work, multi-equip doesn't work at all. ;A;

I was just asking why you can't use your alpaca now lol. OH because mutli doesn't work. Got it. What browser do you use? Chrome doesn't like mutli equip but I can use them on microsoft edge and I think firefox works. But you have to turn safe scripts off.

I can't figure out how to use multi equip either
