Yeah, same. I regret missing out on an art exchange, but I knew I wasn't going to have a scanner when it ended, and things are taken pretty serious if you're late by a few days, unfortuantely.

oh wow ; ; whats an "art exchange"? is it some kinda of event in college or.. on some site? but i can understand about their being a specific time stuff needs to be in. though i do have a question for you . . . art you an art major as well? or is this totally a hobby - way of helping out with expenses.. cause lol if your not art major i find that a bit mind boggling.

I'm a half art major, if that makes any sense.
An art exchange is like an art Secret Santa, and sometimes they're themed. You have a specified amount of time, and a bunch of people sign up. Then, someone in charge matches who draws for who, and everyone has to turn it in by the deadline. People who miss the deadline get severly reprimanded. THis is how I get most of my best pieces.

oh thats lovely O.O never heard of one before. oh and half <3 thats good. im still trying to decide what i want to do.. i really want to improve more so i can illustrate childrens books or covers of fantasy novels. *shrugs* so one day one day. but then at the same time.. im really interested in medicine and animals (maybe like a wildlife rehabilitation specailist... or or something like that)

Anyway, the exchange I'm part of is pretty intense (you have to participate every month or two, or you get rendered inactive), and private (eg - people are nominated and voted in). But it pretty much guarentees stunning work. If you're curious, most of the members do RL commissions.
I might be up for a Menewshan exchange, but with the amount of work I have in school, it's not that likely. :/ I most definitely couldn't do every round.
