Powers/Weapons/Weaknesses: Marsha possesses super speed, while she’s never been officially clocked she guesses she can run about 150mph, give or take. She’s also got quick reflexes. She cannot run across water, which limits her movement, and Marsha’s body isn’t the only thing that goes fast;her brain works a mile a minute sending her often into manic episodes and causing severe insomnia, she sometimes goes days without sleeping, passing out only when her body demands it which can seriously affect her health and mental well being.
Description: Marsha is naturally slim, thanks to her pumped up metabolism, about average height (5’5-5’6) with porcelain skin. Her hair, while naturally brown is dyed red and normally kept in a ponytail or braid. Her eyes are hazel, changing color depending on the light or her mood (from more brown to more green etc.) Marsha often wears heavy makeup, especially eyeliner and lipstick. She normally wears jeans, vintage shirts, sneakers, and a brown pea coat she got from a thrift store.
Personality: Marsha is a lot of talk and false bravado; outwardly she comes off as a hard partying pseudo thug with a bad attitude and a forked tongue. Internally though she’s a very insecure young woman who struggles to maintain who she is and spends most of her time a neurotic mess. She’s especially nervous around official, uniformed folk.
History: Marsha’s grew up in a small farming community on the border between Iowa and Illinois, the oldest of three kids she had a normal childhood until her powers began manifesting when she was 11. The mental issues were the first to show up, making her parents think she was bipolar and putting her through years of therapy and medications. They fully manifested when she was 14, once her parents found out Marsha felt alienated and soon dropped out of school and ran away from home. She’s been in and out of trouble with the law since in towns throughout the Midwest, normally for shoplifting and petty theft. She moved to Chicago when she was 18 and pays the bills by working odd jobs and (with the use of a fake ID)moonlighting as a bartender at various clubs.

Cows Go:... Okay. Again I have to say no. His name sounds like a racial slur if you say it fast, and he is still to powerful. He could be Jackie freakin' Chan after a movie marathon. I don't want Jackie Chan unless it IS Jackie Chan. Or an old grizzled army dude that shows the wrong things he's done in his face.

Powers/Weapons/Weaknesses: An Empath. Her ablilites allow her to sense the emotions of others, influence them, and broadcast or amplify them. She is however, mildly vulnerable to telepaths.
Description: A brunette woman of rather statuesqe features, Delaney is considered to be quite attractive, and in her prime. She's physically well built, and mildly muscular, which seems to be a job requirement.
Personality: Delaney's Empathic abilities mean that she is a void of emotions most of the time. When she feels anger, she sends it back out in the world. When she chooses to feel her emotions, Delaney feels them 100%. When she's happy, she's REALLY happy. When she's angry, she's furious.
History: Delaney's powers developed in her early teens, making her a dangerous girl in highschool. She was popular; everyone liked her, except for people she didn't like. They were afraid of her. When she set her sights on a guy, she had him for as long as he entertained her, and when she didn't want him, he was crushed. Delaney's powers were the driving force behind no less than a dozen suicides before she left college. After her parents deaths, however, Delaney was forced by a promise to her mother to take care of her mentally ill brother, Cael.

Under the impression that Mutants are a superior race, Delaney and a number of like minded individuals set up a number of places that that would help mutants like Delaney get ahead in the world. However, early in her ambitious plans, Delaney ran into financial troubles.

She was given financial aid from an unlikely - and illegal - source. Damason; Drug lord extraordinaire. In exchange for laundering his drug money, Delaney was given a percentage of the cash flow; more than enough to set up the mutant friendly neighbourhood around Crumrin Apartments. Her cash problems solved, Delaney has recently turned her focus to her cause; the divine superiority of the Mutant race.
Other Notes: Delaney's brother is an endless source of emotions, and she keeps him around for mostly that reason; if not for a promise to their mother on her death bed, she could have disposed of him long ago.

His power low level Clairvoyance (seeing the future). He is unable to tell when his visions will come true... unless there is something to show the date in the vision eg. a newspaper or calender but that is not always reliable for various reasons. Most times he is unable to distinguish reality from his visions. He tends to say random things from his visions that confuse people namely his sister (eg. he will see a guy run around in a flaming top hat and yell "Flaming top hat").

Description:
is scrawny looking weighing only about 105, he is approximately 5'7", he has medium length shaggy brown hair, and Emerald green eyes, he always looks a little off due to the fact that his power has caused him to have Paranoid Schizophrenia

Personality:
He is a Paranoid Schizophrenic due to his powers so his personality tends to change a lot, his mood depends greatly on his environment. Hospitals and mental institutions make him nervous due to past experiences. While he is solely dependent on his older sister for almost everything he also fears her, and her abilities.

History:
he was a normal kid until his powers manifested at the age of 10 when he saw a glimpse of a car accident (the car accident wouldn't happen for another 7 years) Nobody believed what he saw. This caused him to lose touch with reality and ended up in a mental institute. His insistence that his parents were going to die was so strong that he was eventually subjected to shock therapy after three years of normal therapy failed. This helped to subdue him enough to be released to his family's care until the car accident happened that killed his father and put his mother in intensive care until she finally died due to her injuries. The only reason his sister puts up with him is because she made a promise to their mother just before she died.

Other Notes:
Due to his Paranoid Schizophrenia no one really knows what his powers are or if he even has any. his sister has been trying to figure out what they are by his random sayings and tends to think whatever screwed up things that happen are his fault (eg. a dude running around in a flaming tophat)

Power and Description: Teeth has.... teeth. When he does not open his mouth he looks perfectly 'normal', or as normal as a huge African American man with tattoos all over can look. But when he grins, all his teeth are sharp like a cross between a wolves and a sharks. This is not the only abnormality in his mouth, as he also has a second full set of sharp teeth behind his first set. This set is attached to something of a second jaw bone on both the top and bottom of the mouth that is controlled by extra muscles. The second set is commonly up behind the first set and not seen, but when he clenches these specific muscles (which is natural for him) the top set come down and the bottom set come up slightly over (though still behind) the front set, giving him a frightening double grin of sharp terrifying teeth. He commonly only uses these as an intimidation tactic, as he himself is his main weapon (see appearance).

History: Teeth grew up in the general slums of New York city, and has always been taller and tougher then the other kids his age. He was born to a black man and white girl back when such things were still highly frowned upon, and was raised by his fathers family, who were not on the up and up, mostly fed and clothed by his Aunty Grandma (real relation unknown). This caused him to start early with rolling with the wrong crowd and he had a list as long as both his massive arms of charges by the time he dropped out of high school at 16 to work dirty full time. His mutation of teeth developed at 15, but because of his size and intimidation tactics no one dared go after him. He came into employment with Sir Damason a few years later and became the man's right hand man, body guard, and general confidant, even if most of the time all Teeth has to do is nod and make agreeing noises. He is a follower of Delaney’s ideals, who he was introduced to during a stint protecting some drug dealers in her neighborhood, and was her in with Sir Damason to become his money laundering organization.

Personality: Teeth, always being bigger and stronger then those around him, has grown up believing that only the fittest and wiliest survive, and should rightfully so. He finds pleasure in making others un-comfortable with his presence, or 'punishing' those he believes are weak and undeserving, finding those that give up easily or beg incessantly and are easily fearful disgusting. On the other hand he finds those that try they're hardest against adversary and with good negotiating skills admirable, even if he still wants to mess around with them anyway because he feels like it. He just won't mess you up as badly. While not the sharpest tool in the shed, he is no dunce by a far stretch, though his smarts are more street smarts then book smarts, making him able to suss out dangers or weaknesses in others easily. He shares Sir Damason's appreciation for the exotic, though only shares in the avenues of exotic food with him. He finds strange movies in different languages and strange porn more interesting for his viewing habits, and exotic tattoos, which he has littered his body with all over. He has more of an interest in the differences between mutants then his boss does and can spend ours just studying strange people and mutants for they're idiosyncrasies. He has no problem man handling them to see if theories he comes up with are correct or not, but Sir Damason has made it clear it's not a good idea for that to happen often.

Appearance: Teeth is 7'2" in height and built like a human fright train. He has big muscular hands that can envelope most peoples heads easily. His head is shaved and he commonly wears sunglasses, though his eyes are a deep blue. His skin is a dark brown and covered in tribal to very detailed tattoos, each unique, done in only black ink (COVERED!... all except his face). He is overall a very imposing figure.

Other Notes: He dispises his real name. Doesn't mind his first ,but when said together he will gladly mash your face in.

Powers/Weapons/Weaknesses: The liquid metal that Catherine began to produce as she reached her teens originates from within, and is self replenishing. She cannot remove the spine sheath, but she can increase the production and manipulate it. She can make wings to fly with, weapons to fight with, or armor to protect herself with. Brass is naturally VERY strong; not a mutant power, merely a natural reaction to having a body that is filled with metal.
Description: Six feet and Seven inches, and almost two hundred and fifty pounds, Brass is not a delicate girl. She is however, rather on the pretty side. Her only major feature is the fact that Brass constantly produces a strange form of liquid metal of a rather brassy color. She can detach it from her body, but a small area always remains, a length of plates along her spine that she cannot remove. Black hair and dark eyes, she has a smattering of freckles that stand out across her nose.
Personality: Brass is kind but quiet, and very shy.
History: Catherine was raised by two loving parents, in a pretty standard middle class home. When her mutant ability began to manifest, they calmly pulled her from school, and did homeschooling. That would have continued had someone not thrown a molotov cocktail through their livingroom window. Her parents survived, but after much discussion, they decided that for everyone's safety, Catherine needed to move out. Her parents helped her get an apartment in the Crumrin apartments, and even helped her move in.
Other Notes: Brass doesn't use any contractions. She's a big fan of proper english, and doesn't believe in wasting part of a perfectly good word by mashing it into another. Miles shares her apartment, sleeping in the extra room after they meet.

Blackdinah, I'd love to actually see the scary hunchback dance done, it sounds hilarious! Yeah, I suppose just sitting on some ideas and letting them mature while throwing everything into one character sounds good for now. Until tomorrow then, as of now I am going to go out and forget all about this week! peace!

Besides, later on, you may discover that there is a need for a specific power, and you can fill that niche. I made Delaney because she's the evil villain, and Brass is there so Miles isn't the ONLY freaky looking person.

Wow, this is one intensly lively group we've got here. Hopefully this thread will last longer than the one i started... it was just so hard to get the plot going with the large ensemble cast. With any luck we'll be able to keep this going and i'll bring in another character or two alittle further down the line.
