Hmm, i have seen a lot of people saying they're saving up gold
for the next item. I haven't done an event before, but why do
people save gold for it? Do you have to pay to join in?

I noticed something about an event shop... Is it to do with that??

@Nivvy - you save your gold to buy event commons. When the event starts - event commons are placed in the event shop. They're sold for half the price they will be sold at after the event ends so it's better to buy them during the event :D
