I was saying that yours is clean, but mine is not.
It's a beautiful piece, yours is.
Ah sorry! Misinterpretation!
Usually when I get comments like that they're talking about how I'm doing it digitally my bad.
Thank you!

I still think yours looks good. It adds to the style.

I do digital as well, lol.
But I draw traditionally first.
[Have we gone over this? xDD]

Yeah!
Here's one.
[I'm pulling these from my dA.]

---------- Post added 01-17-2014 at 12:49 PM ----------

This is an old one. Like two years old.
It was my "What is perspective?" phase.

---------- Post added 01-17-2014 at 12:51 PM ----------

This one was drawn traditionally, but I drew over it digitally.
Mostly, I draw and ink traditionally, then scan and colour.
This was from my "What are feet?" phase.
xD

I drew this recently. Like last week.

I'm getting better at drawing feet. I'm so happy.

I'm trying out new ways of colouring at the moment, what do you think of this?
I'm still playing around with the brush and shading and such but I think its getting better

I wish I could draw feet 8'D
I really like how you colour with pencils. You include more detail.

It's fresh!
I like it!

It took me a while to just give in and just start drawing full bodies with feet.
I had to study anatomy first. That helped.

Oh thank you!
It's easy to add shading in folds with pencils.

Thank you!
I've always like that style of colouring but never seemed to be able to get it till now! It's still needs a little practise but its getting there!

I have been sketching anatomy all day 8'D
I hope I show some improvement from it

It definitely shows.
Have you tried changing your brush settings to a more pencil like texture in the program you use?

When I colour digitally, I want it smooth and soft.
I'm weird, lol.
xD

Gogogogo, practise that anatomy!

What about include just simple textures and patterns?
What art program do you use by the way?

I've done like 50+ anatomy sketches today

I use SAI.
I do try to use different textures, using the paintbrush strokes are fun, but I'm trying to accomplish the soft look. orz

I use SAI too

What you should be able to do (if you have the bought version) is you can add texture to the actual layer, and you can edit how see-able the texture is. The best way to see what I mean is in this picture. I used a texture on the grey shirt layer . Generally, even if its the tinciest bit of texture it automatically looks a little better (depending on if you picked the right texture).

I don't really use the airbrush
I mostly only used it for the really stylised blushes.

Delicious!
I have played around with texture [did I say that?], I even make my own.
That's how I got the blood one for the Uncharted Raider drawing.
I got a bunch of texture packs, but none have been useful yet.

You said you played around with the brush texture, I was just saying you can also play around with layer texture too

I've done layer texture, I just haven't messed with the opacity.
It was how I did a plaid skirt and tie for one drawing.

Texture is such a pain for me 8'D

To go to bed or to continue drawing is the question!

Woke up to a screaming child.
Put him on the floor, he started running around the coffee table.
