I did when I was getting them two or three times a week-- actually, I started when I'd had one for two weeks straight. x.x

Now... I honestly couldn't afford that, but I've found lots of ways to cope. I almost never drink caffeine except when I feel one coming on. If I can catch it early enough, when it's just making my eyes a little wonky, and take an excedrin with a coke, that usually knocks it out at least enough that I'm functional. If I don't catch it soon enough, I have a small supply of vicodin that doesn't really help the pain, but does let me sleep through it.

Otherwise, meditation and yoga both help some, as does a good pair of sunglasses for keeping out bright sunlight. Also, leaving the room if there's a flickering fluorescent light. Those things are eeevil, and I can see them flicker even when other people can't.

I was just browsing through Arabic names on Behind the Name, thinking about NPC names, and one of the first in the list was Abd-Al-Karim, which means "servant of the generous." I thought that would be cute, just because the event NPC is essentially a servant to the organizers, in addition to being a host.

While I really like the idea of Scheherazade being the NPC, I also like the idea of it being the caravan master. I feel torn.

Oh god, I hate fluorescent lighting. The flickering makes me want to kill things.

If it helps, I was planning on the caravan master being the victim for the whodunit! That can easily change, though.

Heeey, it's apparently after midnight! Silly Wyrm lost track of time.

Okay, people, you have 24 hours to PM me that you're voting for Scheherazade* your favorite NPC name and up to 3 colors for the color scheme... although that latter probably means we're doing gold, jewel tones, and sand colors.

* I'm not biased, no.

The depiction of the caravan is going to be up to our artists, I think. We're just trying to come up with basic colors for them to base things off of. I'll count you down as a vote for sand colors, though? And did you have a vote for the NPC's name?

It was not too much trouble. Still learning how to type and edit with it, so it is good practice. A mouse would be very helpful though, lol.
