I actually hate Snow White, in all honesty. xDD;;
She's my least favorite princess. >.>;;
For some reason. ^^;;
Not that she isn't a good princess, of course, but I personally find her my least liked. xDD;;

And really? o_o;;
I never heard of that. 8DD;;

I think she has failed to do her princess duties, but she's the prettiest to me. So different for a princess. Short black hair. Not long and blonde, or long in general :)). Cinderella is my favorite of all the princesses, based on doing the princess duties. She worked for her tiara! Heyyy!!!

And yess!
I am SO EXCITED!
You know who tim burton is right?

I actually find Belle the prettiest princess~ But that's just personal opinion. ^^;;
One reason I don't like Snow White is that I find her... useless? xDD;; I dunno, she was just looks for me, and compared to the other princesses who have personality, she, well, lacks one, aside from the typical damsel-in-distress that screams a lot and faints and stuff. :x
Then again, this is all just a matter of personal opinion, of course. =P
Although I do agree that Cinderella did work for her crown, yes. :3

And of course I know who Tim Burton is. >.>;;
Not like I'm oblivious to the movie world. xDD;;

It's cool :D.
I love my new quest thread name :D
Instead of "I WANT IT ALL" it's "Woah! Dream Big!", a quote from Juno, my favoritest movie ever :D Seemed to fit.

I am the worst artist you will ever meet. :(.

I can't find my style, well, i found a style, but there may be copyright issues. I drew a lego person, just for fun, and it looked good, but idk lego's rules.

I love Juno! :'D <3<3
Just have to put it out there~ =P

And lolz, at least you HAVE a tablet. >.>;; My lineart is drawn by hand/traditionally, and then I use a ball mouse (or whatever you call those mouses with balls for rollers) to color. xDD;; Yeah, I'm lame, but I'd like to think that I don't totally suck for someone who doesn't use a tablet. ^^;;

And Chubbs, as long as you're not outright copying Lego's style, then I guess it's all right? ^^;; Although you're right that there may be issues. :x Maybe you could somehow change up your current Lego-style a little to make it more unique? =O

I draw all my art by hand, but I need to be able to colour it, that's why I bought the tablet.
Takes too long and doesn't have a decent finished result with just a mouse.

And a roller ball mouse is the one that uses the ball underneath, a trackball mouse is the one with the ball on the side to move the cursor, optical mouse is a useless piece of junk for a mouse, and a laser mouse is the best, it's what the optical mouse should have been!

Yeah, I see your point. :x
Although, buying a tablet isn't my priority right now, so I'm trying to make do with a crappy mouse for now. xDD;;

Thanks for the clarification btw on the kinds of mouses. ^^;;
But, I actually find laser mouses harder to use. :x When coloring, that is. It's so light that sometimes it's hard to make proper strokes, because you tend to overshoot it and stuff. ^^;; Roller ball mouses for me are more steadier, and while they need more pressure and effort to move around, it gives you more control than the laser mouse.

This is just my personal experience as a mouse-user when it comes to coloring though, so I wouldn't know if it applies to everyone. xDD;;

The laser mouse has more control, you're just doing it wrong. Haha.
No really, roller ball mice have a max of like 100DPI, which makes them slow and not at all precise, while a laser mouse finely tuned (and the user getting used to it) is very accurate.
But they are made more for gamers in mind, since the PC market expands a lot of PC gaming. (whoever says PC gaming is dead is an idiot. :P)

I don't have a problem with strokes or anything with colouring.
I have a problem with hours of uncomfortable placement of my wrist on a mouse, where I'd rather colouring with a pen gripped in between my fingers. Much easier, and a lot more comfortable.

What's hard with a mouse though, is making a straight line for digital lineart, it's nearly impossible, not to mention trying to use something like photoshop's pen tool is a joke, that thing is overly complex, I've used pen tools on Oekaki boards that work fine and dandy with minimal effort involved, where with photoshop it's gotta take an hour of your time just setting up the right pen stroke to use. :|

I gave up on that shit, another reason why I decided to invest in a tablet.
Just a Bamboo, hopefully it'll last me a long time.
Also it wasn't all that much, it only cost me $87 Canadian, which isn't bad.
That's with shipping, handling, and provincial sales taxes applied.

Hmm, I'll just say that the laser mouse is too lightweight for me, which usually ends up with me either moving it too hard and screwing up my lines or completely missing the mark. xDD;; So yeah, maybe I am using it wrong, but hey, this is from a coloring perspective, and not a gaming one. 8DD;; And it's more of personal preference. ^^;;

And yeah, it can get uncomfortable. :x But strangely enough I've never had anything too painful that it irks me or something. >.>;; Probably why I still have the patience for a mouse. 8DD;;

What's easier too is that I have a somewhat painter-y style to my art. :> So, like, it's easier with a mouse than if I wanted to cell-shade. OH GAWD, if I had to cell-shade with a mouse, I would cry. ;_; </3

And don't get me started on Photoshop's Pen Tool. D: </3
Just... no. >.>;; Me and that pen tool will NEVER get along. x_x;; </3 Period.

And ohh, cool then~ :3
I probably waste too much money fulfilling my girlier needs (is a shopaholic when she is in the right mood xDD), so, yeah. ^^;;
We actually do have a cheap tablet at home, but for some reason I can't get used to it. >.>;; Plus the response time is meh. :x

Also, thank you so much for the cute art, Chubbs! ^^ <3<3

My mouse is fairly light weight, I wish it had weights on it, I want to get one of the ones that has customizable weights, they work wonderfully well.
Also, I like having two side buttons on my mouse, not just for games, but assigning them to whatever I want in a program, or in web browsers it's forward/back on the browser toolbar, so there is no need to drag my cursor up there and go back a page! I can just wave my thumb over it and voila! 8D

And oh god! I've done cel-shading with my mouse before, it's not fun, it's sloppy, and it's effin' hideous and don't like it's results at all. D:
Need to learn more about vectoring tools for that kinda art. :0

Anyway, it's like 1:45 A.M.
I am tired, full of peanut butter, and have been bored all day long.
So I need to get into bed, sleep, and hope my tablet arrives soon so I have something to do. XD

Not really looking forward to trying to use GIMP as my main art program though, since I'm sitting on Linux until I can either get a ) a new disc drive and a copy of Windows XP -Cause I didn't enjoy Win7 and it didn't enjoy me/my computer- or b ) a new computer all together, since it's long overdue and I really wish I could have something that suits my needs, not for gaming so much, but for all those other things. especially sound.
FL Studio on my PC is a pain in the ass. :|

Anyway, G'night all.
See ya tomorrow, I won't have anything better to do.
