Ha ha, yeah. Oreo used to be a barn cat, though, and Maine Coons are made for hunting and fishing, so it makes sense that he'd be the type of cat to "hunt" the fish in the fish tank. >.< So we haven't gotten any more since then. I'm contemplating getting a couple mice for next year, since I would not do well without a pet, but the apartment complex we're looking at may not allow us (my friends/roommates and I) to get mice or any pet of any sort. And I can't take Oreo with me. That'd be too cruel. :/ Besides, I couldn't afford a cat. :(

Hi everyone! Just saw Wag the Dog for the first time! Excellent film. Incredibly depressing at the end, but excellent none-the-less. Dustin Hoffman and Robert DeNiro did wonderful jobs in their roles. :) And as a Journalism student, I found it incredibly intriguing. My only complaint is that I had no time to work on homework because I had to pay attention all the way through the film or I'd get lost.

Probably one of the best (but worst) lines in the entire film was when they were shooting the fake footage of the "Albanian rape victim" (Kirsten Dunst) fleeing the "attacked Albanian village" and the producer was shooing the make-up artist, "Enough with the make up! She's been raped by terrorists!" In the up-beat and energetic swing of the film, it came across as hilarious (though it's an incredibly morbid thought). There were also some other... awkward incidents. But as a whole, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Kinda surprising how well they predicted that the future of war would revolve around Nuclear Terrorism...

Anywho -- how is everyone here doing?

Try lavender. I know it sounds silly but if you have frequent headaches, especially when tired, the scent of lavender can help to not only relieve them, but it also is a very soothing relaxing scent that helps melt away the stress of a long busy day. I keep a small sachet of dried lav. in my pillow for that exact purpose :-)

It was a very good movie. :) I'd recommend watching it sometime. I was watching it because my Politics class did so while I was out sick, and I figured I'd get that out of the way before heading back tomorrow.

Erk. I would not do well with lavender. It gives me a headache. XD I'd much rather vanilla with a light hint of cinnamon. Or clean laundry. Something less poignant than lavender. XD A little bit of lavender oil diluted though would probably work wonderfully... =shrugs= But not for me. XD

Sleep well, llonka! :) And yeah, that'll probably work. (A nice distance away from your nose, so it won't be too strong). Maybe rub the pads of your feet and the toes -- that can help a lot.
