I wouldn't say I'd get sick of seeing avatars like how you describe them.
In fact, I very much prefer them at times compared to really bad clashy ones or those which just BURNS the eyes out of their sockets. Conversely, I find your avatars decent and occasionally nice to look at.

I thought I failed at questing too, used to, in fact, back when I was still new. But it became easier after a while after I've manged my first dream avatar (which was, incidentally, this one). ^^
