This year it is going quite well. I have gone with the goal of fifty books for the year, which I think is a realistic goal. At the moment I have finished six books. I am about halfway through one of the books I am reading and have just started the second. I am typically going to be reading two books at any given time. How about yourself?

Oh, I misunderstood the situation. I was thinking, hmmm plastic. That means fake/not real. So this must mean that their wrap is not real. *Gasp* They are covered in imaginary wrap!

3-5 minutes, and I'm doing it on anime. Fitting, as I've been around it quite literally for as long as I can remember.

Ah nice, when I have given speeches I have typically stuck to culture in a more abstract sense. Such as difficulties cultural differences can pose to communication. Although I look back at my previous speeches and cringe. I was so ignorant of anthropological theory back then. u.u I hope your speech went/goes well!

It's tomorrow! I've been practicing it, just not timing it....I also want to add more in the drawing style of anime. I've got plenty on the history and modern anime, I just need more on the drawing style.

Ah, I never really timed my speeches out. Which is in all honesty a really horrible habit which I have. Indeed the only way which I was able to reach the time limit typically came from me throwing in spontaneous 'jokes' throughout my speech. I wish you luck once more for your speech!

In book news, though, I went to Half Price Books and nabbed myself a little encyclopedia-type book of Middle Earth for a buck, a biography of Tolkien for six (the price on the back was eleven pounds, and that's close to eighteen U.S. dollars, so I'm thrilled), and a new, unopened Two Towers DVD for six as well. :boogie:

That is just so much awesome in one shopping trip. :drool:
