hello hummy, the arts on first page of my thread now XD

I was holding it and it bit my chin.

We celebrated Easter, well sort of. We made my grandmother an Easter basket and gave it to her when we went to see her at the nursing home. We also had a little Easter lunch with her. After that we went to my grandfather's for dinner.

Yay, I grabbed the first egg. :)

Lol, I can't even hold his foot out when I'm trying to give the injections. If he wants to retract it, he'll just overpower me and bend the needle on the syringe because I can't pull it out fast enough. xD;

I've dealt with them before, I just didn't realize they were aggressive. Just more of a DONT TOUCH ME RARRR but they'll just kinda hang out otherwise. :P

It was just a baby and you were probably scaring it way more.

He swore up and down he thought I was faking and over reacting. I have a heart murmor so that panic attack could have killed me >.< I really hated that kid.. hell teenager in all honesty. He was old enough to know better.. my husband picks on me because we live close to a lake and the dollar store is right next to it and there is a flock of geese there.. every time I have to go there and go to get out of the car I check to see where they are and dash for the store... he says hurry baby the ebil geese is gonna get you run woman! .>.> <-------------- that is my Im so not amused face

@Paprika: Yeah, that's what our guy is like when he's in his cage. But we have to give him a ton of IM injection, clean his incision, etc. since he just had surgery to get a fish hook removed from his stomach.

He only gets really mad and snaps at us when we're handling him. Poor guy just wants to be left alone.

Yeah, my Easter was alright.

It wasn't traumatic, but to a little 5 or 6 year old child it would be considered a bad experience.
At least I didn't almost drown a duckling like my mom did when she was little.

@Ivvy: I guess I can sort of see how someone might not think that a goose could really hurt someone. But then again, if you had a ton of bites and scratches and a panic attack AND HE WAS WATCHING IT HAPPEN, then it's kind of horrifying. Does he still do that kind of stuff? D:

We mist him with water (since we can't let him soak in water until his incision closes up) and he stretches out his legs and head. He loves his morning and evening pseudo-showers. :)

Sure reptiles can be cute, snapping turtles generally aren't though. xD

no clue I havent seen him since i was little because he kept doing stupid stuff and my aunt didnt want me around it.

Time to compose a new avvie!

I think I'm just about there with getting my second egg set, too!

@girlbot: Ahhh, I hope you released it! It's illegal to keep a wild animal and they can really hurt you!
(Lol, my roommate had one for a while before her parents realized what it was though...)
