I only asked because the hospitals are in different parts of the city, so if you were sticking to one area, the exposure might be slightly different.

I would love to go back to Seattle and see if its as beautiful as I remember (aside from the hospital visit). Of course, I also plan to move to Oregon. So... that might be easier as a later sort of plan. xD

When you consider that my percent WAS 53 and is now 48, and the acceptable bodyfat percentage for women is 31, yes. That is a good thing.

Hm...I have NO idea what my body fat percentage is. However, I at least know that I'm not an unhealthy weight, not for my build at least.

I'm sorry, Taiyo. Such a worthwhile activity as well. Have you considered taking online classes on the subject? Obviously, not going to be as translatable as an in person class would be, but it could be a start, you could familiarize yourself with some basics...
Hyena should weight in on this, she's the one with experience in the field...

I'm sorry about false starts when it comes to getting lessons. I pestered my parents so long to allow me to go into figure skating... When I finally got around to it, it turned out I had a natural affinity for it, but it was a bit late to do anything with the skills other than the rudimentary.
What about youtube vids? Probably not going to be the best way to inform yourself on the subject, but it's something...

But this isn't the first time something like this has happened. We had a "question of the day" (that's how the professor takes attendance) in speech comm. that was asking what our favorite amusement park ride was. It brought up really painful memories because...well, that was one of the things I was always promised as a kid and never happened. My mood for the rest of the class was rather dark afterwards.

I'm so sorry. Those sorts of things, those childhood things, can be particularly painful. I feel like I should be fomenting my words into something more soothing, but I'm at something of a loss. Just know I sympathize.
