Hi there Chiairen Hoshino, thankies so much for the donation! it was really great of you. Everyone I have encountered on this site so far has been really nice, its a refreshing change from other where's that I have been to. I have lived with other people before and will never do it again, like friends or roomies I mean. I do however live with my fiance at the moment and we have been happily living together now for nine months. I have lived with people who ended up stealing my stuff, spreading rumours which ended me losing my job at the time and I ended up having to move back home, I guess I just have issues with people that arn't your true friends to begin with. Sounds like your situation has calmed down though Amari.

Doesn't it suck when stores don't have the item that you want? when you say Target Amari where are you both from? I am Australian so its a common store name around here thats all. =^_^=

I love the bigger bunnies that like to be held as babies. The breed with the floppy ears? They're so adorable.. ;_;

XD I'm in America. It's a common store name around here too. <3

Ugh. I'm feeling a little sick. I'm thinking I should have gotten up when I first woke up instead of staying in bed for another two hours. I felt fine then except for having a heart attack. :3nod:

<<,,

I had a dream that I was involved in someone's murder (I wasn't actually the one who killed him, but I was there), and someone who knew the guy recognized me as having been the last person she saw with him. So, I was all panicked and have to get out of here because I knew I couldn't tell them who actually did the murder and I didn't want to be in trouble.

So, then I woke up with my heart beating like three times too fast.

*Huggles Amari*
I've had dream a like that. One night I thought it was real. I couldn't wake up I didn't know I was sleeping. I was at a friends house, the only thing that woke me up was him slapping me >.> I got him back for slapping me even though I was thankful to awake up

Wow. o.o Dun do that.

I have very vivid dreams, but rarely frightening ones. I've definitely had it happen that I'll be walking around the day after having a dream, sulking because my best friend went to Equador without me, when it suddenly occurs to me that there's no way that actually happened.

My test is in ten minutes, and no one is in the classroom yet. This bothers me. Of course, a couple have classes before this one, and those are only just getting out, but there's usually at least one other person in here.

Hey, if no one else shows up, maybe he'll just reschedule, or give me an automatic "A".

Boy, that would be

handy.

Good luck on the test. ^-^ Call me and let me know how you did.

Okay, so I've made an executive decision. Commas are too difficult. No one really knows all of the rules, and disagreements abound. To simplify the language for everyone, I'm taking them out back and shooting them. No more commas, ever.

On second thought, that statement might have been more convincing without the commas.

I just read 20 pages about the various uses of them. x.x It's like, "Don't use commas for an adjective statement at the front of a sentence unless it's only 1 word, more than 4 words, or, you know, you feel like it."

I'm not joking. They used a different wording, but that is, in essense, what it said.

You know, I've read a lot of books that break the grammar rules. It's a writer's power to be able to break the rules of language and still have it work. It's a gift.

Granted no one would want to read a run on sentence that just rambled on about everything and anything under the sun and what that person did during their day and what their family did and how it all came together and etcetera, but really... I've seen rules broken repeatedly, and the story still works beautifully, so much so that you don't notice the mis-usage unless you're specifically looking for it.

Oh, for fiction that's certainly true. A little less for nonfiction, but it depends on the style.

That's exactly what my issue is for punctuation. As the copyeditor, you don't know what you should change and what you shouldn't because there aren't enough exact, unbreakable rules. I find myself being like, "Mm... This is wrong, but it looks fine, really. Should I change it?" And if it's just the one sentence and you decide not to change it, that's fine. But what if you decide it needs to be changed on the next one, and then you're just being inconsistent. x.x

I'd sort of hoped that taking this class would clear things up for me, not be like, "Ah, yeah. Rules are made to be broken. Wink wink."

Exactly. You can't win no matter what you do. As the rules of grammar are meant to be broken (and sometimes challenged to be), one professor would tell you it should be done one way while another, a different method. -_-
