Dead Rising 2 is... kinda violent, yeah.

The other two games aren't very violent, though! I think they're pretty tame as far as violence goes.

What are they? I mean, Hatoful Boyfriend wasn't all sunshine and smiles either, so if it really isn't much violence, and they're a good story, I might be up for it.

Well, the first one is Gurumin: A monstrous Adventure, which is a Legend of Zelda clone, to be honest.

The second is Dust: An Elysian Tail, which is a lot like Super Metroid, or Castlevania.

I think I've heard of castlevania... maybe it was made into an anime at one point? But the only ones you mentioned that I have any sense of is the Legend of Zelda...

Side note, the luxurious sensibilities and the profusion of color in your avatar? I love it.

I feel like there's a castlevania anime, yeah. It's kind of like a side-scrolling RPG wherein you level up your character by finding upgrades in the world and those upgrades allow you to access new areas.
