Cost of rent is never cheap. :( We pay something like $450 (which is fairly cheap) but that's only because of the step-dad filing some forms to have the price lowered. Originally, our payment was like $700 to $800 a month.

No, it wasn't. :( When she passed away, it showed just how much she kept the family together. Her children rarely talk to one another, other than my boyfriend. They all will talk to him but they don't try too hard to talk to the others.

It's amazing how one person can hold an entire family together...

Mhm. It was the same when my mom passed away. I moved nearly 700 miles away. My sister wound up moving in with a relative a few hundred miles away. And I haven't talked to my older sister since my oldest was born. :/
