Gemini looked up and smiled brightly. "Aw, baby love! They're friends already!" She gushed happily. Cal, meanwhile, babbled back to Martha, as if they really were talking.

Bruce tensed slightly, already protective of Martha when it came to boys, but relaxed when he realized that Gemini was kidding. "I wonder what they're talking about, if anything." He mused.

"They're talking about the meaning of life." Lori grinned while second later Joker smirked. "Or there talking about there evil plan to over throw us with cute."

Gemini laughed. "It's probably something in between, like how they're going to use their cuteness to get whatever they want, and they think that's what life is all about." She said.

Bruce shook his head. "Or maybe it's something as simple as how big the world is, or asking each other's names." He chipped in.

"Or it could be all of the above babies are smarter than they let on." Lori yawned a little. "No more babies for me I'm to old."

Joker nodded "I think two is enough for me though it's early to tell." He shrugged.

Bruce nodded. "True. And I agree, Lori. I'm too old to be starting off fatherhood as it is. That's why I had that problem taken care of while you were asleep." He whispered the last part to her, not wanting the others to know that he's gotten himself "fixed."

Gemini yawned as well, nodding in agreement. "After giving birth to two babies in one day, I'll have to agree. Unless we both go completely insane in a few years and decide to do this again, I think I'm fine with just the two." She said. She had always wanted one boy and one girl, anyway, so she was happy.

Lori took Martha. "Well I would love to stay but someone needs a nap well two someone's." She chuckled standing carefully.

Joker was relieved to hear they were leaving so he could nap.

Gemini reached out to take Cal back from Bruce. "Oh, that's fine. I need to feed these two, anyway." She said with a smile.

Bruce was happy to be going. As much as he liked seeing the babies, he didn't want to be around Joker any longer than he had to.

Lori took Bruce's hand letting him be her guide back to the bed eyes already half closed.

"Well since there gone I need a old man nap." Joker chuckled.

Bruce happily led Lori back to her hospital room, getting her settled back in bed before putting Martha down for a nap as well. "Rest up, my girls." He said.

Gemini smiled. "You go ahead and do that, then. I'm going to feed the twins and then get them down for a nap." She said, getting the babies set up for a feeding.

Lori nodded and fell asleep clutching his hand loosely.

Joker was asleep before she had even moved.

Lori dressed Martha in cute baby clothes humming as she did. "I hope you like your new home cutey." She smiled at her though Martha was asleep and couldn't hear anything.

Packing up the bag they had brought to the hospital, Bruce smiled. "I hope she likes it, too. I know first hand that it's a great place to grow up." He said, coming over to them. "Are we ready to go home?"

Gemini was double checking to make sure both twins were wrapped up safe and warm in their blankets. They were both awake, and almost seemed curious, as if they knew something different was happening. "I can't wait for you two to meet Lucifer. He's going to love you." She said happily.

"Ready." Lori picked up Martha and carried her to the car. "Ace is going to love this." She chuckled.

Joker took April thinking. "I hope the hyenas don't misbehave." He sighed. "I'll just lay down the law."

Bruce chuckled as well, getting the car seat set up for Martha. "You're right, poor old hound will be thrilled, I'm sure." He said.

"As much as I like those goons, they better not touch my babies. I'll castrate them." Gemini said darkly.

"If I don't kill them first." Joker sighed and lead the way. "I got a little something." Sitting there was a new car complete with baby seats.

Lori scowled "he better be fine or he'll sleep in the empty part of the manor." She warned.

Gemini smiled brightly. She would have hugged him, but she had a baby in each arm. "That's perfect! I'm glad you thought of this." She said, not bothering to ask where the car came from.

Bruce shook his head. "Relax, I only meant that Ace is getting a bit old. There's no way he would ever hurt Martha." He promised, going around to get into the driver's seat.

"I know...what happens if she's allergic to him." She bite her cheek frowning a little.

Joker smiled then helped her strap the babies into there car seats. "There now it begins." He opened her door for her.

"Then we'll have to find Ace another home. I love Ace, but if it comes to a choice, I will chose my daughter." Bruce said a little sadly. He hoped that that wouldn't happen.

Gemini nodded and got in. "Thank you." She said, buckling herself. She turned around to check on the twins again. They both seemed okay.

"Alright." Lori nodded squeezing his knee. "I'm sure they'll get along famously." Or so she hoped.

Joker nodded focusing on the road trying not to look back at his kids every two seconds.

Bruce chuckled. "Famously? You're starting to sound like Alfred." He teased, smirking over at her.

Of course, Gemini was already doing that job for him. It was almost to the point where she was constantly turned around.

Joker parked the car at his place which had been baby proofed to fit his new father life style.

Lori stuck her tongue out at him. "So did you really...get neutered?" she blushed.

Gemini unbuckled and got out, going right around to get the babies out of the back. "I just thought of something. We only have one crib. That will work for now, since the doctor said that because they're so small they should sleep together for warmth. But when they get a little bigger, they'll each need a crib of their own." She said, hoisting first Calcifer and then April out of their car seats.

Bruce chuckled. "No. Animals get neutered, not humans. Neutering is literally cutting off the balls. With human men, they...well, it's different, and my balls are still intact. But I did get a vasectomy, so I can no longer have children." he answered.
