Thanks Melody, good to know I dont have to spazz out over getting the items.

Oh no Shadow, that's crummy. Was it a cat or a dog that they groomed? I did some vet tech work for a while and had to assist with some of the grooming. With only one qualified groomer, the cats that had to get shaved by the other tech always looked rough. I don't know much about dog grooming though. The clinic I worked at was feline only.

Mel- You HAVE to? Thats sucky. Joe has the day off.

Tea- Its a dog. I just asked them to shave her all down, and when I picked her up her legs and tail were still long and she had these crazy eyebrows. So I had to wait for them to shave her down again, only to get her home and discover patches of long hair, a severe line in her hind where they changed lengths on the clippers, and her ears not clean, AND her nails aren't all clipped. With the exception of one nail that they chopped off almost to the paw! Plus she has burns all over her. Oooh, I'm so pissed. My poor innocent little girl was getting tortured!

Shadow, that's horrible. Even with the cats a grooming session included the nail trim, and ear cleaning. We had to make sure that the animal left looking good and to the owners satisfaction. That's shoddy work to say the least. I'd write a letter to the owner myself, unless the groomer was the owner and then I'd file a complaint. Odds are it isn't just your baby they did that too.

Good point Teacup . . if they did this to your dog there is a good chance this happens to other people's pets as well.

A formal complaint to the owner- and if nothing gets resolved maybe even report them to the better business bureau . . not that it really does anything to report to them :/

I'm planning on it. Already called and got the store manager's name. Apparently the entire grooming staff is new, so I don't even want to deal with a new manager. So I'm going as high as possible. Shes gone there for well over a year now and I have NEVER had her look so horrible. Matter of fact, I've never had any dog of mine look so horrible. I'm so sick with whats happened to her I don't even want to let them fix their mistakes. They will never be touching my baby again. <///3

I agree, a complaint to the owner is necessary in this situation.

Well, ladies I'm headed off to work. I hope you all will keep enjoy the event. I just stumbled over the cooking contest so I have something to ponder over while I'm at work today.

Its the Feast Stickie. I saw it yesterday and have been wondering if I have enough time to try and make something. ^^;

Well, just sat on hold for the store manager and wound up leaving a message. Hopefully he will give me a call back soon.

She had never agreed with my parenting skills. She told me a few weeks back that I dont give Toni the right kind of attention. And Im sure she has a few things to say about the way I handle Elise but so far shes kept her mouth shut. She thinks its awful of me to expect Toni to keep her room clean!! I refuse to follow behind my kids with a broom and dustpan like she did. Kids will be kids, they make messes bleh. Shes a complete asshat

Yes, kids do make messes, but eventually they get neater and learn to clean up after themselves.

And really its a good idea to teach them to be responsible for themselves and their own messes. I'm all for it.

Well - isn't that special. What kind attention are you supposed to be giving?

And saying you're a bad parent because you're teaching your kids to be responsible for cleaning up after themselves is crazy . . . how else will they learn that there isn't really a magic cleaning fairy who will pick up after them?

Ive got pictures :D This is Toni and Elise:

And this is my mom and the girls:

Im all for kids cleaning up after themselves, but apparently there is something wrong with me for agreeing with that. Apparently I havent been treating Toni like a child *rolls eyes*

Exactly. Well her cleaning habits aren't the greatest to begin with so why would she expect her kids to clean their rooms. The woman is just unbelievable.
