nah, their lyrics are english. "KMFDM" is a word that cannot be pronounced. they represent the unknowable, the unspeakable. :)

oh, origins :) you're right! Really most industrial music is German in origin, but much of it takes on English lyrics or pulls English audio clips from movies.

it depends on the band. industrial is an umbrella tern for experimental music that usually, uses power tools or unusual objects to make sounds like smashing trash cans for drums. have you heard of stomp? it's a side project from einsturzende neubauten, a really really great band that the German government supports :)

I think I have heard of it, or at least the American equivalent of that.

yeah, i saw it in America too, I'm from Arizona :) it's a form of industrial, though a little less... angry? than most! :p

I guess the version in America is more, artsy like? Expressionistic?

yeah, basically. there are some great industrial projects here too though, like a local one here called human experimentation, and chant from texas :)

I haven't looked at any of the threads. Just now I was admiring the baby Yan-Yan, but I haven't been up to the task of competing in anything for a while.

I don't really like to compete in contests, but I like casino types of games and roll the dice games.

I've had great luck when I enter the art and avatar contests, but I'm still sort of lazy, teehee.

And, I'm so sorry I haven't been around to chat more! I fell asleep (terrible headache) and only woke up now, which is far later than I should even be up.

That's because you are probably one of the best, if not the best, of those who enter. Because those other great artists of Mene don't draw much anymore or are no longer around.

I at least hope your headache has gone away.
