man I don't know what i'd do if I lapsed at all with cobra. I know that I can reenroll in september but that would be a long wait.. and it was a pain to set up.I think they were purposely messing up my information to delay the time period they'd have to pay for... at least it felt that way after so many errors.

I know companies like blue shield try to get out of paying for anything. once month, happened to be a month I had surgery to remove some cysts in, they tried saying I had paid late and so they wouldn't cover it but that was a completely stupid accusation to make. I have online banking that shows when everything goes through. So I just faxed over a copy of my statement and said I was willing to peruse legal representation and they just dropped the claim.

That's so weird. Blue Cross Blue Shield has actually worked out really well for my parents and me. Aside from really hating deductibles.

up until I bough cobra they were awesome. and they are still really good for my parents. its jut me that's had the issues.

i want o take work off and I know I'll definitely take thursday off because that's the day of my brother's graduation. I just haven't decided on friday. I know that last week work was slow. but i also know my boss is procrastinating on everything and will likely give me 12 jobs each with a 1 week or less deadline next week... sigh. I wish i didn't have to factor in someone else's procrastination... but if he does that then I'll have no choice but to work friday.

Awww. Maybe inform him that you're wanting to take Friday off; so he should give you any work that needs to be by then? :O

I'll see what happens. if he gives longer than a week deadline I can manage it with still missing both days. if not well.. i'll miss thursday. work friday and do what I always do with the fiancé. he'll just have to follow me to work and sleep in the car until I get off at 1 >.< really I just wanted more time with him as sort of a birthday present to myself.
