I stood in amazement. So many different breeds here. I had thought they all wanted nothing but blood, but they seemed to just need help.

Only the vampires sensed it, and no one seems to trust them, so i'm in the clear... for now

some of the soldiers in the camp saw me right away. They came to me in quick haste. When they "woke me up" I fed them some BS story on being chased by vamps for awhile. Something like that. I would need a better story, but for now, it was good enough. I was sad as well. Icouldnt feed on them until they checked to see if i was infected, which seemed to take forever. I was hungry. but they wouldnt know i was infected. that may also convince the vamps as well.

I could sense an infected near, also someone looking for me. I had done nothing wrong....no. My very existence was wrong to these humans. I could run, but where to? I could not control my powers, the others would sense me and attack. Or I would be shot trying to make a run for it.

I soon, after being giving the tests for infection (and passing it by the way) realized that i recognized one of the vampires. It seemed to be one of the ones the two soldiers were going to. I decided that when they released me i would have a chat with the vamp. hopefully, if he/she was lucky, she wouldnt be one of my excomrades, and so shee would live to see tomarrow...

i coninued to call for help, but it seemed that no one was coming. "please...someone...i just want to help..." but still i was alone. always alone. and i would be alone again if i didnt warn someone about the hybrid. i took a breath and screamed my loudest, just screamed, hoping someone would hear the commotion and come.

Ember heard someone scream, The hybrid was near, clearly wanting to talk to her. He would have to wait. Turning she ran towards the girl screaming. "Are you all right?"

gemini stopped screaming. finnally! "im alright, but-gasp- i was trying to warn someone, theres a hybrid,disguised as a human, hes going to kill everyone! please,i know i did wrong,trying to sneakk in, but i want to make up for it..."

I give up trying to argue with Leon. There were bigger problems at hand. Ken and Sky left the tent to get Ember for the Major to talk to.

Suddenly my head starts to spin and I gently push Elsa away from me before I fall to the ground and close my eyes tight.
I see a figure, a being not yet known, neither vampire nor zombie. I see blood and dead bodies everywhere. The bodies of my friends. Leon's dead body laying on the ground, his gun in his hand, he couldn't pull the trigger fast enough. Elsa's small figure is laying on the ground, Two vampires are drinking her blood and ripping her flesh from her fragile bones.
I scream as the short vision ends. Elsa stares at me with a worried look on her little face. I cling to her and cry for a while. I wouldn't let this vision happen. I wouldn't let anything happen to Elsa.

I growl lowly. Everything seemed to be going wrong at just the right time. I sould smell Ember, the newly captured vamp, and something/someone else. Each had their own distinct scent. Ember smelled sweet, like the nectar of a flower. The new vampire smelled sweet but in a different way, slightly like fruit. The new smell was a sweet-spicy smell, like flowers mixed with death, like a funeral. There was nothing I could do but wait and protect Elsa and Leon for the time being. I had promised that I would not leave the two of them alone again. But if I was able to sneak away for a moment while the two of them were sleeping I just might have a chance to save them and change that horrid future.

"All of you are to meet me at the stream three miles out of camp after the moon rises and is at it's peak, that's midnight. Got that?!" I hiss quietly so only the most sensitive hearing of vampires could hear me. "If any of you aren't there I will hunt you down and kill you myself."

Ember stood up and ran to the hybrid. "You, What's your name and what are you doing here?" She demanded. She didn't know where this sudden anger came from, she was usually shy and nervous.

What the hell? I thought. This was Ember talking to me. Back When I was human. I stared in a shocked silence for a few minutes. I had to know. Should i kill her? Or know her first? Or simply ignore her for awhile?
Soon, to her surprise, a grin lit my face. "Do you know who I am? Think back."

"I remember walking with you at night....and in your car....Who are you? Why do I have such memories of you?" I asked thinking back to when I was human, my memory was fading, but this guy, I could remember intimate memories with him. "Something about Roses, blood, and the beach." I added after a few moments thought.

I grinned again. "You're getting there... Remember anything more?" My eyes were slightly, non noticably turning a reddish color, the first time since I was a hybrid.

"I remember us walking on the beach holding hands, you turned and said something....then it gets fuzzy." She said placing a hand to her forehead. She was getting dizzy from trying to remember so hard and her head hurt. What was this?

my grin started to fade.
"Yes. I started to ask you to marry me. Of course, that's also the exact moment the infection started. I was bitten by a vampire, and obviously, at some point so were you. I thought i lost you forever..."

Sky and I had been looking for Ember for a while. We still hadn't found her. We had a weird moment back when we first started looking for her. We had been walking along and it sounded like there was something behind us. We had whipped around and point our rifles where we thought there had been something. but there was nothing there. As we kept looking i could tell that something was wrong in the camp. What it was i couldn't tell, but I just knew somehow that something wasn't right. We returned to the medical tent to tell the Major that we had not found Ember. I saw the little girl, Elsa, sitting next to the soldier. She seemed very upset about something. Sky and I went to the back of the tent and the Major turned towards us as we walked in.
"Sir, we were unable to locate Ember." He stared at us a little bit before he said anything.
"Are you sure that you looked everywhere in the camp?"
"Yes Sir. Every single place. i have a bad feeling that she prolly moved to an area that we had already checked." He sighed.
"Ok, stay back here for a little while. Then I want you to go out and look for her again. Understood?"
"Yes Sir." We replied, and we took up our positions around the back of the tent. The Major went back to doing paperwork. I stared out the window, watching the soldiers and a few civilians walking around outside. What is going on out there? I just hope that Eli is ok.

"I had forgotten.....Everything feel apart after that. They got Jamie...They got everyone." Ember gasped out throwing her arms around him and sobbing silently.

"I had to live with other vampires for the last year or so. I never forgot about you. Ever."

"We hid for awhile, then one night they found us, I tried to run but one bit my leg." I explained letting go of him. "Oh Felix. What have we become?" She asked resting a hand on his cheek.

"I dont know. All i do know is that there is no way to make it stop... All that matters now is that you're here."

"What happened to Jacob, Frank, and Julie?"

My eyes darkened to a dark red.

"They were also turned into vampires. At least Frank and Julie were. I dont know what happened to Jacob. Frank died by lycan hand about two months ago. Julie was still alive when... I bit a zombie. I had to or else it would've killed the rest of my group. But because i bit it, some of its fluids came inside me and i became part zombie... They decided to desert me when i was going through the process..."

"Zombie? You have zombie in you?" She asked stepping back a little. She remembered the reports about zombies. Even if there spit got on you they said it would make you sick.

"sadly.... yes... Dont worry about the infection rate for humans. You can only get zombified as a vampire if you bite one. thats the only way as far as i know. There were a lot of us hybrids at the bginning of the war, but not anymore. no one wants to get zombified.."

"Zombified? Well at least your still you." She said hugging him again. She leaned up and planted a kiss on his chin. He was still taller then her by to much.

"I am. What is this place? how are all of these humans... still humans?" I asked.
