Honestly, as I'm in two romantic pairing 1x1 RPs already, that might be a bit overkill. :XD

Well, I do have a soft spot for Jareth and Sarah, but if you want to explore some other unique and interesting possibilities for relationships of any sort, I'm up for it. Really depends on what your tastes happen to be running toward at the moment.

Well, right now I am looking to lean more away from romance as the base for the RP, and more towards romance happens if it happens. You know? ^__^ That's why I brought up the guy and Jareth being all buddies idea. We don't have to do that one if you don't want to, though.

I rarely ever base my RPs on the premise of moving toward romance. Granted, with Sarah and Jareth that seems to be the accepted idea...but I always believed that if they were to end up in the same general vicinity again, regardless of which of their worlds they met in, any romance would be begrudging. Jareth and Sarah are both far too proud (and stubborn) to admit that they're interested in one another. But as you've said, the buddy buddy bit with the new runner might be interesting as well. Though at the moment I can't think of a reason for Jareth to befriend said runner. The Fae, after all, rarely see much potential in humans.

I am honestly up for either scenario. 8D So I guess it is up to you! Take your pick, take your pick.

Well, maybe the Runner one might be interesting? As you said, Jareth is a Fae and might not be to relate to humans on a human level (if that makes sense). I mean, he could hardly relate to Sarah, sending Cleaners after her and throwing snakes at her and all, even if he WAS interested in her romantically. XD And it could be a grudging buddy-buddy relationship, like for some reason they HAVE to work with each other to save the Labyrinth AND whoever the Runner is there to save? Maybe?

Eh perhaps. I still see Jareth as stubborn enough to try saving things on his own, trying to ignore or hinder the runner...but perhaps having someone overcome him at his worst would be intriguing enough to form a friendship.

It might be better to have you start with the runner appearing, as I can imagine the Labyrinth acting of its own accord to bring him there, thus annoying Jareth from the get go...which ought to make things fun.

Indeed. I like to think of it as something partly sentient in so far as it is a magical thing and likely knows what it needs to survive...and as a sentient being it is likely very childlike given the nature of its magic and what it is used for. o.o; *has odd theories about things*
