"Get out of here, for starters. Forget what I said earlier, something's coming this way, and it's coming for her." Cat said. "We have to get her somewhere else, somewhere safer than Rabbit's." She was pacing now, a bad habit of hers from when she was little. "But where?"

[Oh, well I was waiting for zexx to post before I did anything but would you like me to move around via space-time anomaly? :)]

((Sorry. I, too, was waiting for Yin, Yang, or Alita to post. :XD))

[Ahaha, I think the Queen scared a few of our characters away. xD; I can't really do much unless I make a new character.]

((Please do. >.<' I don't know what to do . . . for the first time in any of my threads, I'm experiencing a writer's block. Rabbit! He's not able to find them yet . . . so hmm. . . .))

[Should we bring Yin and Yang along with us while zexx isn't back yet? Or should we leave them somewhere for a while?]

Pushing a leaf out of her way while shaking a mome wrath off her foot, Hat-T did her best to hold on tightly to Yin's hand. Still not having arrived at Rabbit's, the two were starting to get worried.
"Yin, are you sure it's this waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy?!!!!"
The hatter soon found herself falling down, though into what she couldn't tell. It was definitely a tunnel of some sort, there were strange things stuck to the sides of it. Soon it got dark as the two continued to fall. With a loud "Ooof!", the dark green haired lady found herself still alive. Thankfully, she had landed on something, or better yet someone, soft and clad in white. She quickly got up and saw that she had squished Rabbit.
"Oh, there you are?" she exclaimed. After fixing her oddly colored suit, Hat-T noticed that her black clad companion had gone missing. She wondered where he could have gone since she was sure she was holding his hand after they fell through the...whatever it was.

"Dear goodness," Rabbit muttered, adjusting his glasses and squirming underneath Hat-T. "Hatter!" The pale man frowned in confusion, his fluffy white hair sticking up every which way. "You just fell through the ceiling."
His large brown eyes were full of a streak of softness, but he sounded just as confused as ever. "Whatever were you doing?"

[Oh, I thought Rabbit had already left his house :shock: This is that 'space time anomaly' that I was talking about earlier, although it's just a normal thing in Wonderland, right? Hat-T, and maybe Yin, just fell through a hole, a hole with things stuck to the sides of it, ala Disney's Alice in Wonderland :sweat:]

((*laugh* Whoops. I forgot about that. :P Alright, he's just traveling through some tunnels. ^_^))

[Ok :D I'll just bring Yin with me. I hope zexx doesn't mind too much \(^o^)/]

"Being lost." she stated with a smile. Well, now there's one problem solved. They had found Rabbit but now what about Yang? Or for that matter, Yin? She looked around the tunnel [tunnel, right?] and soon found Yin lying down in a shadowy area. Startled, she rushed over to check on him but was relieved to find he was only out cold. Heaving him onto her back, though with a little effort, she turned to face the brown eyed man. Hat-T just stared at him with a determined 'I'm going to follow you since I got nothing else to do' look and a smile.

Rabbit watched as Hat-T slung Yin over her shoulder, and smiled crookedly when she seemed determined to follow him.
"Have you seen Alita yet?" he asked conversationally as they walked through the oddly lit tunnel. "It seems that she wasn't in my burrow after all. The girl must have followed me out into Wonderland." This thought depressed the tall man greatly, and it showed on his pale face as he sighed. The same thing had happened with Alice, and in some ways, Rabbit still blamed himself for what happened back then - for most of it, actually.

[After reviewing some of the older posts, I realize that Yin might have been the twin wearing white and not black :headdesk: I thought it was the other way around because of the colors zexx used for their first conversation :headdesk: Then I saw her mention that Yin had a white tail, though I completely deleted it from my sight, and perhaps memory, when I read the post it was in :headdesk: I'll have to ask zexx to comfirm :headdesk:]

The dark-green haired woman shook her head. They hadn't seen the new 'Alice'. Rabbit was the only one they had run into so far. Hat-T happily listened to what Rabbit had to say, although her sharp-toothed grin turned into a slight frown after seeing the man depressed. She could tell he was worried about the girl. The last one he had brought had ended up in quite a miserable fate, or so she's heard. She wasn't one of the people directly threatened by the Queen of Hearts' rampage and wasn't as aware of the danger she posed as her friends were. Her memory only went back as far as when the twins found her. The only other way she knew how bad the Queen of Hearts had been was from the stories the original Mad Hatter told her. He was the one who gave her the eerie mansion and the strange hat she wore. He left a few days after handing her the house, not saying a word to anyone.

"Good gracious me," Rabbit muttered, shaking his head and pushing his glasses back up. "I do pray this doesn't turn out like it did the last time."
It was many minutes of walking through the tunnel before any sign of it ending was seen. The clocks and orbs, springs and wires, gadgets and odd objects lined the walls and ceiling, though it was a rather normal sight to a Wonderlander.
"The . . ." pausing, the tall man hesitated, coughing. "The Queen must not get to Alita. If she does, then it will be just like it was before."
When they stepped out into the dim light of the open air, Rabbit shook himself off a bit, as though to shake off the touches of the damp tunnel.
"Let us find Alita," he said, "I wish to see her safely home before this entire situation blows up in our faces."

"D*mn it, where's Rabbit when you need him?" Cat hissed. She was becoming a bit irritable from a lack of ideas and the pain from her mark. 'Ohhh... please let this work...' She said, closing her eyes. When they opened again, both glowed gold, and the heart-shaped mark aroudn the left grew brighter.

Rabbit, can you hear me?

"Good Lord in heaven!"
Rabbit started suddenly, dropping into a crouch and taking a few steps back.
"Did you hear that? It sounded like Cat."
Then a thought struck him. Is she inside of my head? The tall man stood straight again, tugging his white suit back into it's usual appearance. His large eyes narrowed in concentration as he focused on "thinking" back to the woman.

Cat?

Cat breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh, good. It works." She muttered to herself.

Rabbit, where ARE you? We found Alita, but something's coming after us, and we need to get her moved. She paused. And... Rabbit, I think Heartless has betrayed us.

Rabbit frowned, and shook his head, forgetting that C.C. couldn't see him.

Heartless? He's helped us for years. Why on earth would he betray us? A pause. We all know how much hatred he holds for the Queen.

Then the tall man's eyes widened.

You have Alita with you?

[Aww, found out so soon? Where's the fun? xD Will introduce my new character soon~]

Cat groaned. I know he has, but I... I don't know, I have this feeling... he's a traitor, Rabbit. He disappears, and all of a sudden the Guardian Mark starts burning like a hot poker in my eye? It's too coincidental. And yes, I'm at the burrow you left her at, but he KNOWS WEHRE IT IS. I need somewhere safer to get her, as well as Yang and the Walrus.

"Good Lord in heaven!"

Hat-T stared at Rabbit quizically after he crouched low and backtracked a bit.

"Did you hear that? It sounded like Cat."

"Cat?" the woman asked, tilting her head to the side. She wondered what he was talking about. She had not heard anyhing and when she looked around nothing else was in sight except for a few mome raths scuttling into the bushes a ways away and the bread-and-butterflys floating about. She continued to watch silently as the brown eyed man straightened himself up. From the frown to the surprised look on his face, Hat-T could only assume he was either in deep thought or has finally gone nutters. So she waited patiently, watching a rocking-horsefly land on the reeds beside them.

Safe? Is there any such thing in Wonderland?

Rabbit looked to Hat-T, his large eyes wide. "Can you think of a safe place to meet with Alita and the others?" Shoving his thin glasses up his nose (again), the tall man tilted his head in thought. "My burrow isn't safe, despite being right at the entrance to the Upper World. Is there anywhere we can hide from the Queen's eye?"

The dark-green haired hatter considered this for a moment. What would be a safe place in Wonderland? The Monarch Crocodile's palace seemed like one. The Queen did not go there because she also disliked his outrageous poems. But he was as fickle as the sea, siding with whoever suited his fancy. There was the Secret Garden. Surely the kind White Rose would keep them safe. But unfortunately, some of the other flowers were extreme gossipers. The Queen would hear about them in no time, albeit in an exaggerated version. The two Kingdoms of Chess were always at war and she wasn't sure if Alita could walk under the sea.
Finally, an idea hit her. "My house!" she exclaimed with a grin. Nobody ever went there except for Yin, Yang, CC and, on rare occasions, Rabbit, and it was one of the safest places she knew.
