Jade beckoned Melody to come closer and they sat together on a tree stump whilst they watched a girl talk to Team Rocket. Another girl stood behind them. The pokemorph boy still leant against the tree. The little Cyndaquil was whimpering by a bush. Jade and her Mudkip didn't know what to make of it all.

Vulcan rolled over onto his stomach and began to tackle a nearby tree to get an oran berry. He trotted behind it and started munching on it. He saw the Mudkip and her trainer staring at him, which made him nervous. He curled up into a ball, hoping this would keep him safe from the other trainers and pokemon.
