I ordered Dollmore kid Pado x2 and Dollpire shiloh.

I want to get out and take pictures of my dolls... But I can't find any place nice to take pictures of them.. I'm lacking inspiration.

Her eye sockets need to be modified so her new lower eyes can rest up against the front of the socket so I don't get a gap.

Both boys. My twins.. I can't wait to have them. I'm getting them blank, but Shiloh is naturally have faceup and such... And I just kinda learned that there's a. Long wait for people who paid for painting.

Part of me hopes since they're all to be shipped in two boxes, twins in one and shiloh and extras in the other.. That they'll ship twins when they're ready. I don't hold out a lot of hope, but I can dream they'd send me twins to distract me in the wait time for Shiloh. hehe

they need seam sanding after all and faceups - probably multiple if i dont get what i want first try. I do my own.

I would truly adore to have one of these. If I had the hundreds of dollars to spend on just one I would. Not only are these dolls beautifully made, but you can buy all sorts of outfits and makeups for them. Which sounds silly, but posing those dolls in their beautiful outfits and such can really give you great reference for some great drawings. They're also great for photography. I could go on, but I think a lot's already been said.

Of course, the site I aim to buy my doll someday from wasn't listed on the first page... Which is odd because it's pretty well known, so I shall post the link here because it deserves a mention.... Then I shall go and droll over the pretty dolls.

CROSS ¢Ó AMBITION - CROBIDOLL

The last photo in the original post... is that a custom-made doll, a mod, or one made by a company? From what I can see of the face it looks similar to a CP El, but I'm not sure. I'd like to know where it came from and if it's a mod, who modded it. They did an excellent job!

They probably won't so you don't get charged the EMS fee twice. I suppose you can ask Customer Service if they can do two separate shipments if you're willing to pay for that.

Crobidoll makes some AWESOME sculpts. They're becoming more popular over time. I'm mostly a tiny-only person though and Fairyland's posing system has spoiled me rotten. My favorite thing is the photography and putting together outfits.

Well my order came well over $700, and with Dollmore when you order $700 or more you get free shipping to one box. My order is coming in two boxes, so I only have to pay shipping for one box - which I already have with total after all. So I've paid all my dues in shipping. :)

Crobidolls are beautiful, haven't found one that suits any of my characters though.

Dollmore answered my question, and they said they will send separately! Which means the twins should be ready within the next few days and should be getting a shipping notice for them soon. :) Dollmore is only behind in makeup and sanding. :D

Ah, did my piercings yesterday/today! Was a success! Was very nervous at first but was way simpler than I had imagined. :D

made ones, but each piece is just so, so expensive! the clothes, the eyes, the hair.. or too expensive for me. .__.; they're so beautiful though, and most likely the only doll I'd really, really want to hold all the time. xD Beautiful pictures! <3 It inspires me to look at some more and hope that one day I can make one of my very own :D

Hello, I was told by ToriKat that this was a place to hang out with fellow BJD owners? I'll introduce myself since this is the right place.

I'm Cyberblue Lightning, also known on Den of Angels as FerinJRaten and on the Australian BJD website The Fairegrounds. I have a BJD as well however, he is considered off-topic on Den of Angels so it is a bit hard to get some info on him when it comes to making clothes for him. He is made by heise on deviantART who is also known for making Heisejinyao Ziyulinglong Ball-jointed dolls such as Wang-Ye and Hui-Ka and he is a HZ Fei Roro 'bloatie' as DoA has named them. And I adore him to bits. Photos of him can be seen on my profile albums.

Ah, I see. Well then, I'm going to see if I can stir up that thread a little and bring some interest back into the topic when I actually find it though. Been looking and I think it drowned somewhere but still looking.

I only go on DoA for it's databases since it's a massive website and a lot of people go on there to post pictures of there. So it's a good site for me to get a rough idea of what the dolls I want to buy look like. I'm saving up for a 56-60 cm doll now for another OC from my story and currently researching for any bodies that will hybrid well with an IMPLdoll Model Mandy Real skin or pink skin. Which is not going so well since no one on DoA seems to have her or hybrids of IMPLdolls.

Well either that or buy a Luts boy head and then find a female body for that. Although the problem with this option is that I want to find a overall feminine face that has 'masculine' features to it that also appears sweet but devious at the same time. And not only that, most of the boys (especially at the side profiles photos) have the large man noses, that I know some Korean celebrities have, that just irritates me for some odd reason.

Those are the plans for the moment.

lol Everytime, I go on there I keep having this feeling that I'm the 'weird one' for saving up for or buying dolls no one wants. XD

Remember that a face-up can make all the difference in the personality of the doll. Also, small modifications can be made. There was on girl, I don't remember where I saw the image, that had a CP Chiwoo Elf closed-eye head that she had altered slightly to have a very slight grin. Sweet but devious, he looked. (Chiwoo Elf heads=do want.)
