This is the first roleplay I have done in probably over a year so I feel relatively new all over again. But I'm considering giving it in. I love you guys so much but I kinda feel like phoenix is taking some liberties when it comes to my character and I don;t know what I'm supposed to do... T_T sorry I know its silly to get so personal and into it but I can't help it...
I'm just really at a loss..

I'mma not taking any liberties i'm aware of, but if ya got a problem with it then tell me. I personally love Rosie, but I'm just acting in character. And it mainly an excuse to bring out Gabriel's 'SO SSRS' side when you did the disrespect of the dead. Even if the dude was a total douche bag, he does not tolerate messing with bodies. Sacred ground, people!

Secondly- Even if I take the other charges out, she still killed a kid. That's not cool by IG(in game) standards. And the way she seems so nonchalant about killing would make you think she does it plenty of times.

Of course, people are probably gonna demand me to change my post anyway, but if no one takes risks or 'liberities' than the RP would be rigid and stiff, especially if someone has to wait for someone else to reveal details or what not- I learned from experience that this is a serial RP killer.

...But I suppose the whole RPing experience is trail and error, eh?

Trial and error, indeed. I've had too many occurrences of having my character pictured in the wrong way, but hey it works out the same in real life. You dont know how a person is going to react to what you say and do, and you have to roll with what happens. You have to compromise, solve issues. That's part of the entire plot and it in all honesty builds character to your roleplay charrie. It's up to you what path to take your character down, whether to make him/her good or bad.

And it's always good to have two or more charries for this reason. That way, if one of your characters is gathering too much steam, you can back off and pull out the other, or use the other to help compromise the problem without god-moding.

Anyhow, the whole compromise and consequence is practically the point of the councils anyway! It wouldn't be a very believable meeting if there wasn't something to be serious and argue about...>.>

Besides, I prefer having a char hated by everyone than have one loved by everyone. I find a lot of characters being agreeable of the 'good' one. Then again, i also see a lot of characters being rebellious and assholish. Sometimes you just need good measures of both to give them individuality.

And I'm not sure why people are so against conflict early on in a story... i mean, a story needs conflict, right? You know, problem, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution!

...Unless no one pays attention to Creative Writing classes anymore...

Well, you should probably leave your post the way it is, there isn't anything wrong with it, like I explained in the email to you, I just got sad about your characters bashing mine....
Rose is a VAMPIRE, most vampires KILL people, and enjoy doing it. Granted Alice doesn't drink blood but I assumed this roleplay would stick with traditional vampire ideals, hence the killing. I also planned to only have Rose actually kill someone maybe once a month seen as she is a Council Member. As to the dead body thing, I just thought, hell, she could be pissed at Del for enjoying it (I don't remember if Levi and Gabriel actually came in a car)...
