He knew that the slayer must have liked him to ask him not to go but It was weird hearing it. He couldn't help but blush, even ever so slightly. "Thanks."

That was when his stomach growled. Loudly. He crossed his arms against his stomach and looked down.

"So...you don't want anything huh? I've got food, don't worry. What you fancy? I'll see what I can do." He smiled, happy to have a distraction from his moment of surprise. "And I'm not going to let you get away without eating."

"Anything that you have is fine." he said. He was mentally cursing his stomach for growling at that moment. In return, his stomach growled louder that it did before. He glared at his stomach.

He almost laughed seeing the look the other guy gave to his stomach. "It wont stop because you glare at it silly boy." He went to the kitchen and came out about five minutes later with a bacon sandwich. "Hope that's okay. It was the best food I could make soonish." He handed it to him and snuck a quick kiss away from him.

He blushed as he took the sandwich. "Thanks." he said. He ate it silently. "It's good." he said, smiling slightly at him.

"Glad to know It was all right. I only really keep food around for animals that wander in. It happens a whole lot more then I would have thought." He wondered what the best thing to do would be now. "Hey, what do you do during the day? Seeing as you're up all night. Do you sleep?"

"Yeah. Pretty much. Most people my age go to school during the day, but I don't. I would fall asleep in class if I did." he explained.

"You don't seem like the kind of person who would need to learn much anyway." He shrugged and looked at his watch. Night ended soon. "Can I ask you something? I don't want you to feel like you have to say yes or anything."

"Sure. You can ask whatever you want. I'll answer whatever it is." he said.

"Would you stay tonight?" He realised how weird that must have sounded, but he had never shared a day with anyone before. "I mean that as innocently as I can. I'm sorry I'm sure I'm pushing it."

"I don't think you're pushing it. And I don't mind staying for the night." he told him. He smiled slighlty at him.

Damien couldn't believe that he was going to stay and put his arms round the other dude in a slightly awkward hug and yet another kiss. "Oh...I'm sorry I'll stop doing that." It's your fault silly boy, it's your lips I want to kiss.

He instantly blushed. Again. "I-It's fine." he said, stuttering slightly. He mentally cursed himself for doing that. But he couldn't help how he reacted when Damien was around him. He continually blushed and his heart was pounding just from being so close to him.

Damien felt the other guys heart beat fast and saw his face turn a soft red shade. "I love how you make everything I do worth while, without really doing anything at all." He had never thought he could make someone act like he had.

Hearing that, he instantly blushed more. He smiled slightly, but couldn't say anything.

Damien wondered how many times he had made Seth blush. "You have a beautiful face, did you know?" He was almost determined to not only show him how wonderful he thought he was, but also to see his flush red a few more times.

"Thanks." he said. He was looking down and blushing more.

Damien leant right up close to him and lifted up Seth's face gently, looking straight into his beautiful eyes. "I like you, a whole lot." He smiled gently hoping not to scare him. "And you shouldn't blush, no need to feel embarrassed."

"I can't help but blush. I can't control when it happens." he said.

He nodded and then narrowed his eyes a little, giving him a focused, slightly evil look. "If you like me, show it. Kiss me." He wanted to know whether the boy who was strong enough to take lives, was strong enough to take a chance like that. "It shouldn't be too hard."

He instantly blushed again. He could hear his heart pounding. He then kissed him.

That kiss made something burn inside him. Kissing Seth felt good, but to have it the other way round made him feel all warm inside. "I didn't think someone who could end then last dregs of life from those like me, give your life to ending them, could fall in love with one. You are a mystery. I thought it was supposed to be us, those who lurk and watch in the shadows, who were mysteries."

"You are a mystery. Though I'm not sure about other vampires. I've never really spoke to them...." Seth said, his face still red. He couldn't believe he had actually done that. But his body just reacted when Damien had asked for a kiss.

He smiled and nodded. "I suppose It's hard to talk to someone when all they want to do is tear a hole in your neck and drink until you stop breathing." He looked around for a moment, then at his watch. "Would it be okay to move upstairs soon? This room isn't as safe as those upstairs." He got up and stood behind Seth, his arms slipping round the human and he leaned down to whisper in his ear. "Haven't you realised? You're in the den of the beast now, and I could hurt you easier then breath. Do you really trust me?"
