Meh... My fiance is all into that big tech stuff. He could probably tell you everything about those TVs. I really don't care too much though. I'm just now starting to see the benefits of a large screen and HD picture.

Trying to post. My fiance is playing Final Fantasy XIII and it's kinda distracting. Aw... Can you bring me a drink back when you go get that toast? I'm thirsty now... >.>

Lol you sound like one of my friends. An old-fashioned kind of person. She doesn't care for high tech stuff either. I had to teach her how to use Facebook and how to operate her emails when she needed it to connect with her family in the north. She still asks questions about it, lol.

FF XIII?!?! I WANT THAT GAME! Is it good? I hear it's eepppiiccccc! And no, no drink for you. I just finished up the rest of the blueberry juice *evil cackle*.

Aw... But I want some juice too... T_ T

I'm not really old fashioned... It's just that I don't always see the need or purpose for some of these fancy, uber-expensive things. My family never really had the money for stuff like that. I'm good with computers and stuff though. I got my first laptop before I left for college and I'm on my second one four years later.

That game is super long. And the story is super confusing. It's really not my kind of game and I've never played any of the Final Fantasy titles. I like Japanese RPGs but that one is just too much for me. I can't say anything against its graphics though. It's absolutely beautiful to look at.

Posted BTW.

I'm getting kinda tired. I might go to bed in a bit.

Bedtime. Nighty night.

Complicated story? D: Oh I don't like those... Final Fantasy VII was like that too. Constantly moving around just to find Sephiroth because Cloud needed to "figure out what kind of man he is". Gradhsjdsahk. I hate that guy. IX was the best in my opinion... lol, I'm a gamer-nerd xD

I posted toooo~ I'm so slow D; I get side-tracked really easy when I'm on the internet, so that's why I take forever to reply, lol. Sorry about that.

Agreed, I might sleep soon too. AGH! SPIDER ON MY LEG! *flails*

I've been watching him play it forever and I really just can't understand it at all. The main characters have these tattoos on them and they have to find their focus which is this thing they have to do and when they do it they get tuned into a crystal. And then there's all this complex vocabulary: Gran Pulse, l'Cie fal'Cie, etc. and all this complex history to go along with it.

OMG. Spider! *flails* *dies*

It might be easier to understand if you watch from the very begining but I've heard that a lot of people had trouble understanding the story.

I HATE spiders. T_T

The nee Halo just got here. I know where my fiance will be for the rest of the day... >_<

lol Halo takes over people's lives. FACT. Like 75489539458743 people I know are obsessed with it. They can talk to each other about the game for HOURS. It's insane and totally nerdy, lol.

Kill streaks and levels and weapons and... crap. It's so annoying.

lol, I'm watching Craig Ferguson and there are all these different commercials (since this is an American channel) about some guys talking crap about others. It's pretty amusing. American democracy is really nasty. Is it an election, right? Or one of those votes that deal with your guys' equivalent to a premier?

Yeah... When there is a debate between candidates they can be pretty rough. Both sides make promises they probably can't keep and try to make them self look better and at the same time put down the other candidate. They put commercials on the TV and have special programs and they even have people who call your house saying why you should vote for them.

How does it work in Canada?

Our political system is pretty... unimportant. There's barely anyone who cares about who becomes the new Premiers and whatnot. Most of us don't even know the name of our Premier or Prime Minister. I'm not sure how Premiers are selected, some kind of voting that takes place in the province after they do speeches and stuff, I guess, but the Prime Ministers are part of different groups (Liberals, Conservatives, Green Party, Block Quebecois. I think there's more, but I forget their names) and each group has some person who will become the Prime Minister if voted, although the whole group has power if they win, and each group have different views and ideas and whatnot and the people pick who they think would be best for them. Although only like 60% of Canada votes... lol.

Right now our Prime Minister is Harper and he's part of the Conservatives. He sucks. Nobody likes him. But nobody cares enough to do anything about it, and the Conservatives are the strognest party so they won't call for an election anytime soon. Everyone likes the Green Party, but they're just a tiny little group with no power D:

I'm not totally sure about all that info, but I think that's the basics of our voting system. It's not at all a huge thing like in the states. We just sit and complain about HST and the fact that the country is falling into recession because of the Olympics.

Except for Alberta. Alberta is full of hicks and red-necks, but they're at least rich hicks and red-necks. They don't have to pay taxes :(

Oh,it seems like most people in Canada don't really care about politics. That sounds like my kind of country. I know I should care but I'm honestly not too interested in the politics of my own country. T_ T

Oh, also, about the RP, I just wanted to compare how you were envisioning the rooms so we're on the same page. I was at first imagining the dorm-style rooms like I had when I was in college with one open room, 2 desks, 2 beds, 2 dressers and no privacy. In one of your posts you added in the kitchen and I think you said in your last post that they have separate bedrooms? So are you imagining the room to be a sort of suite? I don't mind either way, I just want to make sure I understand the layout. Also, do you think they should have bathrooms/showers in their rooms?

I pictured it like how we have it here at our boarding schools. A small living room with a kitchen attached (it's open, no doorway or anything) to the left of the entrance door, then a small hall to the right where the two bedrooms and a single bathroom is. It's not very big, but it's good enough for sleeping and studying. Can't see anyone wanting to stay in there for very long. Might get clausterphobic or something.
I would think they should have a bathroom, lol. Maybe like a tiny shower and a sink and toilet and that's it. Nothing super big. Unless they used a shared bathroom elsewhere? It's up to you, I'm good with anything. Same with the room.

We can do it the way you've described, that's fine. Sounds like your sleeping quarters are much nicer than at American colleges. Ours are just a single room with 2 beds, desks, and wardrobes pretty much. Really tiny... And you're always in the presence of your room mate. >.<

D: That would be HORRIBLE. What if your roommate brought someone over to have sex? Or if you two never got along! Was your roommate alright when you were on college? How did you stand living in a place that tiny for a year?

I had horrible room mate after horrible room mate. The first one came home drunk the first weekend puking and she was underage. The next was a Chinese girl who mostly kept to herself and wasn't all that bad. The next was a complete bitch and I hated her. She had her boyfriend over to have sex but she left a message on the board so I wouldn't come in on her. It's not a pretty situation but you make due. T_ T For the last year I moved off campus and stayed with a friend who turned into a pot smoker. That was the most fun of all. NOT.

Sorry but I'm heading into New York City today so I won't be able to post until later.
