I've heard more about Kindles, though. I never heard of a Nook until my boyfriend told me what they got his mom. That would be a really nice gift, though. I want an iTouch so I can get a drawing app on the go. I would love that. :)

Actually, the drawing application on the DSi is pretty excellent, too. I was very surprised when I noticed it - you can even make little animations with it. *shakes head* Seriously, it's not even half bad.

I'd never really heard much about the Nook before either, but then again we don't hear all that much about the Kindle here, either. It's mostly iPad that gets a lot of publicity.

The Kindles get the attention in my area. I mean, I know about the iPad, but you don't hear much about it. I don't even know the point to it.

The iPad is basically an iPod Touch, but then larger. You can read books on it too, but that's not exactly what it was made for. You can play all kinds of games on it, log into FB and the like...

I went into an Apple store with a friend of mine, right after the iPad came out, just to play with it and be all dorky like. x'D She kicked my ass at some of the games. It also has, for example, an electronic piano in it, wherein you can actually play all kinds of things. And it's not just a fun little game - it's actually worked out quite well, and you can use it as a synthesizer and make it sound like a violin or guitar.

It's sort of... it looks like a Kindle & Nook, but it's more like an iPod Touch with some more laptoppy features..? x'D

The iPad sounds like fun...I think I'd rather stick with something smaller, like the iTouch. But to each their own, as my boyfriend says.

But yeah, Em, I think you would do better with the iPad. Though with your Kindle, I don't think there's a lot you're missing out on.

The only thing I like touch screens for is drawing. I LOVE to draw on touch screens. Honestly, that's all I'd use any iTouchscreenthingie for. :3

Nah. Tablets are way better. But I can't really use my laptop with any tablets...it can't install programming and stuff. The CD ROM is busted. :(

Nah. Sadly. It's a brand new laptop, too. Ok, not brand new, but it's not like from 2000 or something. It's decent. Just the person who sold it to me destroyed what was good about it.

It's probably a setting that they installed, that says you can't install new things on the laptop - companies often do that on company laptops, to prevent people from playing games and what not - and that you can only bypass by using the same CD-Rom or something.

I'm also not a fan of touch screens, and sadly I've never gotten to use a tablet before either~ (boo. They seem so fun)
