Jessica watched ran some, she was about to get up, and stop him, but Ali did. Ali placed his arm had crossed over rand's chest. Ali then said. "Easy now..." Ali then shifted, and grabbed his bag, wondering if he could find anything to get the Witch to stop crying. Ali glanced at Hayden, about to ask a favor from him, and found him already curled up in a ball, asleep. "Wow..." he shook his head. He was at a loss

Rand continued to growl, arching up like an angry cat. He wanted to rest--he felt awful from the injuries he had sustained. But this stupid, stupid crying creature was making rest an impossibility!
He didn't quite know what the Witch's problem was. But he had an inkling...he glanced up at Ali and placed his hands on the sides of his own head, pressing rather hard and making a pained face. It was supposed to look like he was indicating a terrible headache was the source of the Witch's cries.

Ali sighed. "I know...but I don't know how to make him to stop, I don't know how to stop it. Maybe He'll cry himself to sleep." He shrugged, wanting to help, but he couldn't. "Just try to sleep..." he whispered. He glanced at curry, as if asking him to make him stop. Curry brought him here, so he should shut him up. jessica sat up. "Maybe...someone could talk to him, and ease him down?" Ali shook his head. "Not unless you wanna get attacked."

Curry sneered at Ali in response to his look, as if daring the human to force him into calming the Witch down. He didn't know how to calm Witches down, other than bashing their heads into the ground until the cries stopped. He had done that before. He did not like Witches, much like Rand didn't.
Most Special Infected hated Witches. They were never social and never interested in hunting, or in forming packs. They were a mystery.

Jessica blinked. She remembered she had another stickybun. She smiled and pulled it from her bag, moving over towards him. She took the plastic off, and offered it to him. She was going to try and gain his trust, and maybe he'll stop crying. she hoped so.
"What are you doing?" Kyle asked. he had woken up when he felt Jessica move off of him. Ali shushed him. "Give her a moment." Kyle sighed, but nodded a bit.

The Witch's cries suddenly stopped short and he lifted his head slightly. His glowing red eyes were wide with interest--they were locked on that sticky bun. Now that he was perfectly still, his features were easier to see. He couldn't have been older than seventeen. He had a rounded face--a sign of youth--and absolutely no signs of aging anywhere. His hair, though it was laying mostly flat now, had a lot of curls to it.
The Witch sniffed the air, mouth watering, and reached out, effectively spearing the offered sticky bun on one of his claws and bringing it back to his mouth. He began to eat it at once.

Jessica smiled, watching him eat the stickybun. her blue eyes focused on him for a moment. He looked pretty much normal to her. Well, except for the claws. She moved only an inch closer, trying to gain his trust. "See, we're friends...no need to weep..." She smiled warmly, trying to cheer up the crying witch. She wondered if he had an ID as well. However, she doubt she would get close enough to check.
Kyle watched for a moment. He was expecting the Witch to attack Jessica once he was done eatting, so he sat up, ready to grab her if he did. Ali smiled some, he knew if anyone could calm a crying creature, it was Jessica.
(( Sorry, I have no idea how that happened Dx ))

((Mene is weird like that sometimes. D: ))
The Witch didn't even look at her. He continued to munch away on that sticky bun ravenously, as if he hadn't properly eaten in days. It was almost like he didn't even know that she was there...or if he did, he didn't care...
When he finally finished eating, he licked at his claws for just a moment and then something seemed to dawn on his face--he glanced in Jessica's direction. His signature low, groaning growls could be heard coming from deep within his chest, but he stayed still...he didn't attack. Not yet.
The moment he finished eating, tears began to spill down his cheeks again. His crying was almost endless...perhaps it really was an awful headache that was making him cry like that. But if that was the case...what would cure it?

Jessica frowned when he cried again. He studied him for a moment, and noticed something off. When anyone got a headache, they seem to cring alot and have some wrinkles on their foreheads. She normally spotted tiny detail like this. "Oh...I know whats wrong."She smiled some. she didn't have any asprin cause she made her own medicine that worked faster than that. She pulled out a cyllinder bottle, opening up the cap, and using the top for a cup. She poured some into it and then offered it to him. "Here...It might help..."

The Witch recoiled, perhaps thinking that Jessica was trying to attack him, and raised one of his clawed hands in warning. He looked frightened and threatening at the same time. He was tolerating her being this close...how long he was going to do that, however, was a question still up in the air.
Witches would not eat anything at all unless it smelled of sugar. It was why a lot of them starved and had bone-thin bodies, especially in places where food was already scarce.

Jessica didn't show fear. She just smiled. "Would you like me to make it to your tastes?" She pulled out a pack of suger and poured it into the liquid. The sugar would not change how well it worked, just the taste. She mixed it up good and then handed it over to him again. "It will make the pain go away..." She said silently. She knew she was pushing it, but if she didn't how would he ever learn to trust?

Finally, the Witch appeared to accept the offering--he relaxed just a little bit, though his crying and growl-groans did not stop. He reached out and nabbed the offered medicine. He held the cap awkwardly, only in his palms, because his fingers were no longer fingers and couldn't be used for such purposes anymore.
He sipped at the medicine, trying to be careful not to spill it.

Jessica watch him. She would of helped him, but wasn't sure if he trusted her enough to let him. Jessica sat there, "Be sure to drink all of it." She smiled, placing her handing in her lap, glad he was being somewhat trusting. Atleast she got him to drink the medicine. It would certainly help him. The medicine would take effect in a couple minutes after drinking it.

The moment the Witch finished downing the medicine, his aggression reared its ugly head again and he lifted up his dangerous hand again, warning her to back off and give him space. The medicine wasn't taking effect yet. It would be a while before it did so--the tears still streamed down his cheeks.

Jessica sghed and moved back some, but still watched him. She thought she was getting through to him. It made he sad, it showed in her eyes, but her face remained calm. She waited for the medicine effect, hoping it would calm him down some. She hugged herself, waiting. She would be dissapointed if it did not work. Notmally her medicine did though. She knew it could work on the infected cause she put that healing cream on both Rand and Curry.

The Witch's soft cries and sobs, after a good five minutes, began to die down. He was still breathing unevenly and now he looked dead tired and starving...but he was no longer crying. He absently wiped at his eyes, confused when he found nothing there to wipe away. Obviously he'd been crying ever since he'd been infected...he wasn't used to not doing so.

When the Witch had stopped crying, he smiled a little, looking at Ali. "There, now Rand can sleep..." She said quietly, not wanting to wake Hayden, or Kyle, who fell asleep a few minutes ago. Jessica turned back to the Witch, watching him for a moment. However she wondered how long it would be till he started crying again?

Curry appeared to have already fallen asleep. He was very still and his eyes were partially closed...but he was snoring slightly. His muscles shook with the effort of snoring...
Rand immediately curled up, quite tightly. He was intending to get to sleep as quickly as possible before that blasted crying creature started to bawl again. He gave a few rumbling little growls and then he slowly began to drift off into sleep. He looked...somewhat peaceful, for what he was, when he slept.

Ali smiled at Jessica. "Good work..." It wasn't long before Ali leaned his head back, closing his eyes. He slowly began to drift to sleep, forgetting he was suppose to keep watch.
Jessica realized this, so she did not go to sleep. She sat agains the cave wall, her blue-ish eyes studying the darkening cave. The sun was almost completely down now, and it was hard to see. She didn't mind, as long as she could hear something coming if it was.

The Witch was now the only one awake. His glowing red eyes cast light throughout the cave, almost eliminating the need for firelight. He was sitting perfectly still and glancing around the cave, appearing to be very highly confused. Now that he wasn't crying, it was clear that he had a slightly rounded, cute, boyish face.
Before the infection, he had to have been very attractive. His hair was naturally curly, but was laying flatter than it probably should have been because it hadn't been washed or even tended to since he was infected.

Jessica noticed the glowing light, which made her turn towards him. She smiled when she saw his face. "See? You are pretty cute when you are not crying." She said silently. Jessica wondered what his life was like before this? He was obviously an attractive guy and probably hade normal fingers then. Jessica watched him. She saw his hair and wanted to wash it. It looked filthy. However, she would restrain herself from it. For now. But she wondered if He had an ID on him.

The Witch was wearing nothing but a torn-up tank top and a pair of boxers, both of which had been white but were now grayish with filth. Now that he was not crying anymore, he seemed to understand what Jessica was saying. He dropped his glowing red eyes, looking somewhat embarrassed.
Unlike Rand and Curry, it appeared that when this particular Infected was not crying and didn't have a skull-splitting migraine...he understood perfect English. He probably couldn't speak, however.

Jessica laughed. "So you understood me huh? Wait? I can actually talk to you. Right? Nod twice if you can understand me." She said, she wanted to move closer, but wouldn't just yet. She wanted to gain his trust first. Trust. Something that was hard to do now.
