Nodding Kaden then winced feeling Jill press on the bump on the side of his head. "I don't know how I did it..." he said softly and watched as the others started snapping at eachother in a discreat manner. He then sighed and closed his eyes. "So where did that... Odd guy take the other normal looking guy?" he asked slowly wondering if that man with claws was still here. "Please don't tell me that the creepy clawed guy is still here.

Kyriean turned the death black eyes on him. There was nothing in them but he dark decay of nothingness and the pure evil of hatred. All of the veins that could be seen were black, causing her otherwise pale skin to look pure white. Her scarf had fallen off in the fray and the deep wounds inflicted when she pulled away from Xavier were bright red contrasts to her white skin and black lines of veins. Blood trickled from them, only adding to the carnage.
She flinched away from him, a sharp movement that spoke of anger. When she talked, her teeth were sharp as fangs and her voice dark. It was obvious she didn’t recognize him. “Don’t touch me. Nobody is allowed to touch me.” Her body was shaking so violently, it was visible to the naked eye.
Then she saw him for him. Her eyes narrowed, only causing her to look more like a demon. Her shaking became worse as true anger filled her body and seemed to pour from her in waves and she stepped away from him. That nasty voice hissed, “What the hell do you want?

(Apologies for my absence ladies and... I think im the only gent  *clears thoat* my internet issues continue since these folks are taking their dear sweet time to come out and look at it...

oh and @Es- im gonna go ahead and skip to where we are to eliminate 4 or 5 worthless paragraphs in my post. Sorries  )

After helping move the bodies of the males with Dante, Ty followed him deep below the building to this ominous room that was considerably well lit compared to the areas leading to it. When Dante wished him well, a sudden surge of anticipation washed over the male feeling that maybe he had agreed to something over his head after all.

Peaking his head in the room slowly he called in, "Hello?" Immediately the young rogue noticed the imposing male figure who was presumably waiting for him. Stalking into the room at a slow pace, Tyrod was on high alert from a natural caution that had been gained from years of living alone in the slums and having to fend and survive for himself. It wasn't that the male was scared but even he could see when he was in a situation not entirely to his advantage.

Once he was about twenty feet or so from the other male figure Ty stood his ground, "So it was you who sought me out becuase of my... talent?"

His voice was steady but it was obvious that there was a cautious edge to his voice. His body language relayed a different message though. His body was steady and alert but there was a certain poisonous gleam in his eyes. Otherwise his face was calm and neutral. It was the poker face of someone who had practiced this for quite a while but hadn't entirely mastered it.

"I have no clue where he took him," Jill said, focusing on Leon for a while. "I only know that he said something about 'being bettered' and spoke of a man named Xavier." Frowning, the blonde suddenly wrenched the soldier's leg. Leon cried out as she re-set his knee - he nearly shoved her back. Instead, he grit his teeth as a wave of energy broke from him. Jill fell back, eyes rolling into her head as she fell. Her breath instantly grew shallow - there was something wrong with her.
Leon's powers had reacted in a self-preservation act - he'd infected the woman. Watching in horror as Jill's breathing began to quicken to an unnatural pace, the gray-eyed male glanced to Kaden. "Oh God." Struggling to pull his way across the floor, Leon tried to shake the woman awake. What did I do? "Jill! Wake up." When she didn't respond, the soldier grit his teeth. As if things couldn't have gotten any worse. . . .
-

Kyreian's shaking form made his heart reach out to her. Usually he wasn't too worried about the women he knew, but she was . . . different. She shared a darkness that related to his own. Dante continued to step toward her, refusing to let her back away. "Where did you go? Why did you leave?" I thought you were going to stay with us . . . with me. For a moment there was a strange emotion in his glowing eyes. He hated seeing her so weak. Her darkened veins were . . . freakishly frightening. The blood that trickled from her neck made Dante hiss in anger. "You need to be bled again. Your power is overwhelming you, Ky."
Reaching out to her again, Dante stubbornly chose to stay.
-

"Yes." Xavier was half-consumed in shadow. The mists that filled the room were freezing to the touch - as usual. "I had my pet bring you in. You are worth . . . inspecting." With a swift movement of his hand, he pushed the frigid darkness aside to leave them standing face to face. He was freakishly tall - a good foot over Tyrod. "I can smell your potential, boy." He looked "young," but carried the aura of one long-lived. It was impossible to see how old he truly was by looking at face value. "You deserve a fine toning. There are levels of power you have yet to tap into."
Stepping forward, he looked down at the male. "I will tamper with your limits of power. It will strengthen you, or it will destroy you." Curiousity flit over his sharp features. "But, like a fountain, your abilities will not return to their weaker form. If you cannot control them, they will consume you."

((We enjoy your presense here, deary. *bows* If you have little access to the internet, we can wait for you. It is one reason I dumped you with Xavier.))

Kaden watched as Jill reset Leon's leg, wincing himself for Leon. He then watched completely shocked as she was shoved back, something causing her breathing to quicken. hurrying he went to her side and then felt her pulse on her neck. Her heart was racing. "Jill! Calm down! Breathe evenly. suck it in, hold it, and then slowly let it out. Imagine yourself controlling your lungs..." he said his voice calm and collected after he grabbed her attention. "WHenever your body overreacts you have the mental capacity to stop it if you calm yourself.. So keep breathing slowly." he said and brushed her hair out of her face.

Jill hardly responded to Kaden's words. She lay limp, and her eyes fluttered before finally closing. If anything, she got worse. Leon's expression showed the horror that he felt within him. "She's one of them," he whispered. She would be a zombie within the next few minutes. Gray eyes filling with a firm resolve, he kept a blistered hand on Jill's arm. "If she can hear you, her body won't respond." They never do. He'd seen it too many times to count - it was his reason for deserting his elite group in the military. He was guilty of far too much. There had been too many outbreaks.

With a groan, Jill fought against the fog that fell over her. When Leon's powers struck her, she felt her body lose control. While her mind still worked, she couldn't respond to anything. One of them?! Like hell I'm going to become one of them!

I need to get it out of her. He didn't know if he could . . . but it was worth a shot. She would die if he didn't. How does one focus on withdrawing it? Feeling like a fool, Leon closed his eyes and concentrated. Nothing was happening. Jill's breath was so short that she couldn't be living off of it for a long period (think "I am Legend" style). Her pulse was going frantic - her heart would burst and infect her with the poison. It was going to kill her. Come on!

Kaden looked at her shocked and then looked at Leon. "Wait! What is the poison made of?!" he said suddenly and looked at Leon. "With alchemy I can take it's components and make it into something different... I could take it into the air and out of her body." he said and then looked at Leon. "Think swiftly we only have seconds!" he said urgently andthen looked at Jill, worry flashing in his eyes.

Shaking, Kyreian smacked his hand away, her nails sharpened claws and as black as her eyes, unnatural. “Don’t touch me.” She hissed at him, her sharpened teeth only emphasizing the sound. “I went home. What else was I supposed to do? You left me alone with him. And alone to deal with that evil place. I never should have trusted you.

She stood straighter, held her head high as she looked at him with dead eyes that seemed to wrench at his soul. “My power is the only thing that’s keeping me sane. Nobody is allowed to touch me without my permission. Nobody. These idiots found that out the hard way. That man, if you can call him that, will never touch me again. Not ever. I will not be made to bleed for that asshole again.” She hated this. She hated everything that happened since she came home from her military duty. Dante had been the only thing since then that had seemed like it made sense. Now, everything was wrong. She couldn’t tell what she was feeling anymore. She didn’t want to be touched, period, but she didn’t want him to touch her because she didn’t want to hurt him. Not really.

She screamed with frustration and pain then. She was confused and angry. She turned and hit the wall behind her, leaving a large, crumbling hole in its wake. She turned back to him, hand bleeding red and damaged, for all it had the strength to punch a hole in brick. A single black tear slid from the corner of her eye and floated down her face. Her voice was a rasping whisper this time. “Why did you leave me alone?

"I don't know." Leon shook his head, watching as Jill's limp form began to go through a sort of spasm. She was turning. It was then that his gray eyes locked on Kaden. "But it's my fault." Reaching over to pat the other male's shoulder, Leon sighed. "I'm going to stop it."

Jill's mental self gaped as Leon's hands rested on her temples. What are you doing to me, pervert! It was moments later when the fog on her mind started to lift. Leon's consciousness merged with hers momentarily - it was a rather strange feeling.

Leon hissed as his forehead touched Jill's. I don't know what to do. Letting things play out, he pleaded that the woman would live. It was moments later when he felt his own being slipping into hers. Accepting the virus from her, Leon pulled it out of her with abilities he hadn't known he'd possessed - and he absorbed it into himself.
Slowly letting Jill's head fall to the floor, the soldier looked to Kaden in confusion. "She's so still," he whispered. Blinking, he smiled shakily - he looked dazed. Gray eyes fusing with a strange vein of black, Leon leaned back against the couch. "I think she'll be alright."

((:XD Sorry it's so short.))

Kaden watched worried and then sighed as Leon say back from Jill. "You did it..." he whispered as he checked her pulse. Then he rubbed Leon's back. "You did great." he saud lightly and then slowly cradled Jill in his arms. Wincing in pain he then stood and looked down at Jill. "I think she's coming around." he said gently and sat on the couch Jill still in his arms. She was beautiful.... What was he thinking?

Dante stood his ground, unflinching in the face of Kyreian's rage. His hand was smacked away again, and the male couldn't help but watched her clawed hand return to her side. "I told you I had to leave for a while," Dante said quietly, his red eyes glowing more brightly as he listened to her hissed words. I never should have trusted you. That one struck a soft spot. Blinking in surprise, hurt flashed over his features. "All we've done is to help you. You can't . . . mean that." No one ever trusted him. Even Xavier kept him on a tight leash.
He was shocked out of his thoughts when the woman slammed a fist into the nearest wall. Dante's eyes narrowed as he watched her bloody hand withdraw. "Then you will risk letting your abilities overwhelm you, Ky?" She hadn't reacted well to Xavier - not many did. This was, by far, the worst scenario that could have happened to them. "You don't have to trust Xavier, but you can trust me." Even if they hadn't known one another long, Dante still wished for her to believe his words. "You aren't in your right mind, baby."
Boldly, the silver-haired male stepped right up in Kyreian's face. "I don't stick around in one place for long." He'd gone out on another search for Xavier . . . as usual. It had been days - weeks, even - since he'd last sat down and spoke with Kyreian. That moment made him instantly regret whatever mistakes he'd made - even those he didn't know about.
"If you could do this on your own," Dante reached a hand up to stubbornly hover near her cheek, "then we never would have met." The blunt tone in which he used relayed truth. Dante never would have sought Kyreian out had Xavier not told him to. Finally letting his gloved fingers run over the woman's cheek, he leaned toward her. "I'm not afraid of death." I trust you, even if the feeling isn't ready to be returned.

-

Leon shot the other two a glance before focusing on his own state of being. He was feeling rather sick after that last stunt. Jill might be feeling better, but the soldier was definitely feeling something. Resting against the couch, he fell still and silent. Let Kaden and Jill get to know one another - he needed rest again. His eyes closed as he leaned his head back - and he was out a few moments later.
-

Whoa . . . what did he do? Jill groaned, trying to regain her senses. Moments later the blonde found herself off of the floor - in the air, actually. Brown eyes narrowing, she tried to get her gaze to focus on whoever was lifting her. Even after Kaden had sat on the couch, Jill was still having a hard time reorienting. "Tyrod?" she asked, looking confused. Perhaps the other man had saved her again. . . .
Reaching up to weakly touch Kaden's glasses, she half smiled in a dazed manner. "Is everyone in this building model material?" Her body was still feeling drained of energy (much as one would feel after not eating for a full day), but Jill was obviously on the road to recovery.

Chuckling hearing Jill Kaden shook his head. He gently brushed her hair out of her face and smiled softly at her. "You and Leon maybe... I'm not cut out to be a model." he said lightly and then tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "How are you feeling?" he asked gently and looked her over. "It looks like Leon saved you." he said softly and then looked at Leon who was out cold again. Shaking his head made his long blonde hair fall into his green eye, blocking it from sight.

Jill's cheeks burned as realization swept over her. Did I say that out loud? She smiled when he tucked her hair away from her face. It was such a gentle action - she hadn't seen one of those in a while. Looking up at his eyes again, she couldn't help but stare. She felt better, but sluggish and uncoordinated. Hesitating, Jill shifted so she could lean against Kaden. The couch was alright, but something warm was a far better choice. The cold in the air (which was enough to almost see your breath) wasn't helping anything.
As she leaned against him, Jill closed her eyes and listened to his heartbeat. "I feel better," she said quietly. Her fingers slowly started to twirl a bit of his hair, and Jill continued to be . . . odd. "How about you?" Her chocolate gaze flickered over his bandaged wound that she was taking great care to avoid. She didn't mention Leon - or his saving her - but her gratefulness was written on her features.

Smiling Kaden nodded, noticing her playing with his pale blonge hair. "Much better... The bandages are keeping the pressure needed to stop my bleeding." he said lightly snd then nearly seeing her breath he frowned. "Hmmm..." he murmured something to himself and then snapped his fingers, the air around them and the couch suddenly warming. He then smiled down at Jill again. "You said you work at a gun shop? So does that mean you're out of school?" he asked curiously. He was younge to be going to high school, and nearly done at age 17. He had come home for the holliday, hoping that maybe his parents still didn't hold their hate for him. But it seems they did. "Im just finishing.... Though I guess that's because I wanted to get out of the house faster..." he said hoping to maybe get something out of her.

Kyreian’s anger flared and her bloody hand flew to hit Dante in the face; but she didn’t connect. Slowly, painfully, she lowered her hand. She turned her back on him as she mumbled “Don’t call me baby.” She still hates pet names. She took a few steps away before she turned back to him. “I did trust you. You lead me to him. What am I supposed to think, Dante?” There was a white outline starting at the corner of her eyes as she very, very slowly started to return to her human state. “Look at what I did. I killed them. Just by touching them. But at least I had a good reason; at least I was fighting against something, and not just hurting others for the fun of it. And don’t spill that shit about him trying to help me. You can feel it just as well as I can that he gets pleasure, joy from it. I will not be touched by any person, man, like that.” Even as she changed in front of him, her shaking increased. It was starting to take it’s toll, her powers. Not that she actually cared.

Suddenly, her face returned to the mask she always hid behind. There was no emotion on her face. Her voice was even. “I won’t go back, nor will you make me against my will. I will not be touched.” She stood there in front of him, shaking like a leaf in the wind but for, all the world, still looking like she was in command of herself. At her side, her hand bled to the ground, staining whatever it touched. The wound at her neck stopped bleeding, briefly. She waited, pretending she was absolutely calm.

A tingle went up the young male's spine as a strange sense of dread washed over him. Something about this man made him uneasy. His body looked young enough but his body language and his... eyes, revealed something much different. He was far older than he appeared but why Xavier looked so young and healthy was baffling to the young mutant.

When the male stepped forward, presumably to take a better look at Ty, the rogue had to fight off the powerful instinct to retreat. There was too much of a gap between them for him to feel comfortable and this Xavier character made no attempt to alleviate his nerves.

Ty managed to maintain a facade of calm composer for the moment and hoped that his eyes had not given his emotions away. Finally, Tyrod mustered up the courage to reply back but not without his voice sounding a tad bit rasped, "So I could possibly die in the process of you... augumenting my powers?" The thought of death was not something that scared the hood rat but the act did.

Jill shifted her position again, sighing in relief when the cold was chased away. "You did that?" As though she answered her own question, the blonde closed her eyes and took a slow breath. "That's handy. The heat - it's . . . nice." With a wry smile, the girl looked up at Kaden's face again. Listening, she didn't respond . . . at first. It was after a few moments of silence when she replied. Her mind took long enough to fathom what he'd said and formulate a response.
"I haven't gone to school in years," she said quietly. "Papa let me work in the garage with him. I started working at the shop as soon as I could." Cars to guns - that was how her life went. "Have you ever worked?" Her words were a bit mumbled, and her fingers slowly stopped twisting Kaden's hair.
-

"You shouldn't turn away from help just because Xavier enjoys it." His eyes were burning embers now, and he inclined his head as the woman went to hit him. Her hand dropped. "You shouldn't leave like this." Truthfully, he was trying not to beg - he wanted her to come back. What would he do without her company? There was no one worth talking to if she wasn't there.
Dante swallowed, taking in the fact that Kyreian was shaking. Her trembling brought his thoughts to comfort, though he was still frustrated. Ignoring caution, the male's hand moved to her cheek. The tall youth stepped closer, finally catching her against the wall and trapping her there. "I won't see you again, Kyreian." His voice dropped lower, and his gloved hands cradled her emotionless face. "You'll do this alone." What would happen if Xavier sent him after Kyreian? If the master couldn't have who he wanted, he killed them. Would I listen to him?
-

"If you are weak, then yes." Xavier's red eyes narrowed, and he caught the strong wave of fear drifting off of Tyrod easily. "You have survived this long. It would be . . . disappointing if you ceased to do so now." Letting his emotionless mask slowly fade, Xavier blinked slowly. The slightest of smiles graced his pale face, and the tall man lazily inspected his clawed hand. "I thought you strove for improvement, Tyrod."

Nodding Kaden smiled slowly. "Well I figured out that if I can make fire I can certainly make it warmer here." he said ansnthen looked into her eyes as she spoked. "Work? Not in that sense." he said gently and then closed his eyes slowly. "I sold the invention of the ipad (lolz) to apple.... Also several apps like the find your phone app and as well as wizard wars..." he said ansnthen looked at her. "I have had a thriving bank account and been hiding it from my parents for years." he saud snd then shrugged. "Its a way for... Non jocks... And geeks like me to make money I guess." he said slowly wnd then blushed slightly. Truthfully he had tried to slowly and work to get himself stronger, and he was slowly getting there... But he knew it was physically impossible for him to get as strong as he wanted to. But maybe with this development of powers he possibly could. Only the future would tell, and that was if he would last threw this wound.

Kyreian wanted to flinch away from his touch but found that she couldn’t. Her clear blue eyes stared at his embers. Her face then fell, the mask pulling away, as she realized how bad she was shaking. She turned her eyes away from him, tilting her head down to look at the ground. Her voice was barely a whisper when she spoke. “You’re used to this. You know what you are and what you can do. I don’t’ want to be alone with…my darkness. But I will not accept anything to do with Xavier.” She was suddenly angry again and she lifted her defiant face to meet his gaze, her eyes glinting like blue daggers. Her voice was normal now, anger heard in every bit of it. “He violated me, Dante. You cannot stand there and tell me he is helping me. I am not some idiot, stupid girl who doesn’t care who touches her or what is done to her. I’ve seen too much shit in my life to know I will not be touched without permission. It takes every once of my will not to kill you right now for touching me. “ Her voice was starting to waver with the strong emotion.
Slowly, she put both hands on his chest and leaned forward until her head was resting in the crook of his shoulder. For the first time, she felt unsure and weak and she didn’t care that someone else, even a guy, knew about it. She was still shaking, so it was hard to hear his heart beat but it was still there; a small comfort. Her voice was muffled but she didn’t care. “I want your help, not his. I’ll kill him before he touches me again.” She was still shaking. She needed to get away from the ashes and dust that was left on the ground. And away from the moaning of the only one left there.

Improvement? No, that word didn't properly express his ambition. Tyrod strove for mastery and was an avid practicioner of his ability which was why he was as skilled as he was right now, but his powers had an immense amount of raw power alone. The ability to manipulate gravity... Thinking about what Xavier had so generously offered him the male smiled and his fear began to fade quickly as his thought came together, "You will help me master my abilities correct?"

A crooked grin worked its way onto the males features as his street senses took over. Looking at the taller and more imposing male Ty thought of something that broadened his smile even more but he would save that thought for a more opportune time. "With my luck being the way it is, I find it unlikely that I'll die. With that being the case, how much... potential, would you say I have?"

There was more to his question that he wanted to let on but Ty could feel the gap in power between them even if he had no idea what Xavier's power was. All he did know was that this man was a well of knowledge to be used until there was no more to be learned...

Jill smiled when Kaden blushed. It was cute. Her brown eyes slowly closed, and she laughed quietly when he mentioned his product titles. "Aren't you the genious that everyone wishes they were?" Her sarcastic tone was quiet, and she eventually drifted off within the next few seconds. The blonde just couldn't keep her heavy eyes open.

Right around the time she drifted off, Leon seemed to rouse. Frowning as he looked up at Kaden with Jill in his lap, the male shook his head. "Feeling alright?" he asked quietly, taking care - for once - not to wake the girl that rested against Kaden. "How . . . is she?"
-

If he isn't helping us, then what is he doing? A momentary flicker of confusion filled his features as the silver-haired male listened. It wasn't right - of course Xavier was helping them - he was the one who unlocked further depths to their abilities; the one who took the edge off when it came to be too much for them to handle. If Xavier wasn't aiding them, then why on earth would he have bothered "training" Dante himself?
Dante let Kyreian lean against him for a few moments before slipping his arms about her. Her words struck warning flags in his mind, but the male said nothing. It would get them nowhere if he did. "I can't . . . manage your powers," he said quietly after a long silence. "But I'd rather die trying than watch you disappear." For once his sarcastic words were . . . genuine. Dante pulled Kyreian against him in a warm embrace, wishing her temperature wasn't quite so low. "Baby, I'll do what I can."
The tall male slowly released Kyreian. Giving her a grim smile, he drew his gun. Flicking off the safety, he glanced to the man groaning in the street. A quick release was more merciful for him. The bullet struck true - and Dante let his wings appear with a snap of leather. Looking over to Kyreian, his red eyes lingered on her. "Where will you go?"
-

How much potential would you say I have?
Instead of replying right away, Xavier seemed to think for a moment. "Enough," he answered. Tyrod's abilities had potential - a massive amount of it - and he wasn't about to say anything further on the matter. "Just keep in mind who is your elder, boy." The way Tyrod seemed to straighten and regain a sense of boldness made the tall creature smile darkly. "You are willing to be subjected to another's will?" If not, then his "well of knowledge" would remain sealed off.
Xavier's red eyes met Tyrod's unblinkingly. "Think hard on the consequences of your choice, Tyrod. You will not be given any chance to turn back."

He frowned at his knee before using the couch to bring himself into a semi-sitting position. Leaning against the piece of furniture, Leon grit his teeth. The soldier found his gaze lingering on Jill for a few moments before he could bring himself from his thoughts. "Did she mention where they were?" Rubbing his knee gently, Leon memorized the area around them. He would find out if they were in danger - if they were, then it was his fault.
