"i wonder how it works" she said.

(then dooooo eeeeeet!)

"That's why I'm waving it around...He should have written instructions on this thing.", ivy said as she slashed it at teh wall. it didn't leave a cut mark on it, thankfully.

"can i try" she said.

"Umm...sure, just be really careful, okay? I don't want you hurting yourself.", Ivy said before handing it to her sister

Kiara messed with it and twirled it. When she twirled it, a small blade came out at the end. "wow" she said.

"I think there's more blade inside there...did you put any power inside of it?", ivy said before she held out her hand so her sister could give it to her.

She gave it to her "no. i just twirled it" she said.

"Well, twirling seems to open the shaft the sends out the blade...there must be some way to get that blade all the way out...", Ivy said staring st the small part of the light blue colored blade int eh staff. She squeezed it and tried pushing some of her power into the staff to try and see if that would activate the blade and send it out.

"i dont know" she said.

Ivy didn't reply to her sister. For two reasons, the first one was because she didn't know what to say and the second one was because she was concentrating. She pushed a little more power into the blade and it went right out of the staff. The long blue blade was out now. Once it was out, though, Ivy fell to her knees and looked at it. "god, that took so much energy...", she said panting a little.

(and just for your info, the blade looks like the one in her picture)

"you did it" she said.

"yeah, but it was difficult and I sent out a lot of energy and power...I just hope non of the hunters sensed it...but whats important is that I learn how to get the blade out without having to do what U just did...like, get it out in only a few seconds. I'll be to vulnerable if I don't...", Ivy said. She knew what she could do was twirl the staff and then push power into it to bring out the blade. Now, she just had to figure out how to put the blade back in.

"how will you get it back in" she asked.

"I don't know...", Ivy said she twirled the staff and tried to take in all the energy she had put inside of the blade. It took a few minutes, five to be exact, to get the blade back inside the staff. She smiled a little when it was back inside. Then, Ivy started to twirl the staff again and pushed some energy into the staff to bring the blade back out.

"it seems it is only hard the first time" she said.

"Oh, it's hard...I'm practically drained right now...but I need to practice.", ivy said smiling. The blade came right out when she stopped twirling it. Ivy sighed and then plopped down on the floor. She was tired

"take a brake" she said.

Ivy nodded a little, "That's a good idea...After my break, I'll practice summoning the blade then I'll try and practice fighting with it."

"ok" she siad.

"So...are you hungry?", she asked her sister.

"a little" she siad.

"We'll get something to eat in a little bit, then.", Ivy said smiling

"ok" she said.

ivy leaned back on teh bed and looked up at the ceiling.

Kiara did the same.
