Cassi was pretty shocked by the language Jenna used towards her classmates, but was distracted from her thoughts by Fang stretching across to her arm, popping his head past her shoulder to lick her cheek with his rough tongue. She seemed to calm down almost instantly then, much of the tightness in her frame dissipating instantly. At least, that's how it was until the girl came up to say something to her. "I... was... um, invited," Cassi said, swallowing loudly. She was truly grateful for Jenna's arm, and Maddelynn's emotional support. They at least melted the knot in her throat enough to allow her to speak at all.

Thalia detected the protective fierceness wafting off the two Gryffindors, and stiffened noticeably at the nervous energy from Cassi. She hadn’t come over to row with anyone—and she surely didn’t want to make anyone feel as though she was. Did she look like she was seeking out conflict?
Straightening her back, Thalia bit her lip. She didn’t know what to say, in all honesty; she had gotten the answer to her question—Cassi was sitting with them, because she wanted to, and had been invited to the table—because... she was getting on well with Maddelynn and Jenna. Not because she was tricked or threatened by them—or vice versa.
What more could she want to know? What more could she say?
The redhead, with her arm slung over Cassi, looked as fierce as a Hungarian Horntail and Thalia would rather avoid a bout with her.
She knew she had to choose her words carefully. Putting on a polite smile, the brunette winded her fingers around the run-off threads in her scarf. “I’m not here to cause any trouble… I actually think it’s absolutely brilliant that you’re sitting with them—with us—instead of the Slytherins. My grandparents were in different houses, when they attended Hogwarts—and despite being Slytherin and Ravenclaw; they conceived my mother in their sixth year.”

Maddelynn winced at Jenna's harsh language, then gave a small smile, "I'm afraid not. My Grandmother would be my chaperon. If not her, she would choose someone she trusted. If only to keep the young man at bay, she says." Maddelynn was glad that Cassi at least stood up for herself as she directed her attention back to herself and Thalia. Seeing, though, that Thalia wasn't a threat, she relaxed. She picked up her goblet and sipped her juice as the feast appeared before them, but when Thalia mentioned that her Grandparents conceived in their sixth year, she spit her juice out and promptly choked on it. Sputtering, she pressed her napkin to her mouth. When she recovered, she discreetly waved her wand over the mess to clean up the juice. She delicately cleared her throat and placed a hand over her heart, "I am so sorry. Do excuse me."
Ewan took that opportunity to lean over and quietly call to Maddelynn, "Maddelynn, dear, you drink. You do not inhale."

Noticing everyone's reactions to her foul language Jenna blushed slightly. When she got angry things tended to fly out of her mouth. Yeah, she was far from being a lady. "Sorry everyone for my foul mouth," she said loud enough for her classmates around her to hear. Keeping her arm around Cassi she couldn't help but feel proud when the smaller girl stuck up for herself. When Thalia spoke Jenna relaxed, squeezed Cassi's shoulder then dropping her arm.
With wide eyes Jenna turned to stare at Maddelynn. Did she just spit out her juice? She thought to herself. "That was so unladylike Maddelynn! I love it, do something like that again!" She said with a chuckle. Hearing Ewan she spun in her seat picked up a pea and chucked it at him, hitting him right between the eyes. "Ha!" Jenna began to laugh and looked up at Thalia. "Want to sit down with us? We could use more smart people like yourself to hang out with." She said with a grin. "I'm Jenna, this is Cassi, that's Maddelynn and Ewan the pain, over there." As she said their names she pointed to them.

Cassi relaxed upon hearing that Thalia wasn't looking to cause trouble, and had just been curious. Of course, she was still kind of tense, but she looked more at ease than she had previously. Fang popped up over her shoulders at the commotion, his tongue flicking out as he tasted Thalia's essence. Cassi was too busy giggling at Maddelynn like a young girl, the sound almost musical in its innocence. The pea hitting Ewan between the eyes prolonged the laughter's existence, at least until Cassi heard her name. She waved shyly, her coppery hair hiding most of her face. "H-Hi," she said, scooting over so the larger girl could sit down with them.

Thalia gasped a little at the abruptness of Maddelynn's comically harsh reaction; but, when the girl waved her off with a breathy apology; she decided not to speak on it.
Thalia knew the Strawberry Blonde would be atleast a little shocked to discover the peculiar events that surrounded her maternal family; the Styles', and only would've been taken aback by Maddelynn's sputtering; If not for overhearing some girls whispering in clandestine—with their usual judgmental delight—about how Maddelynn was raised with values modeled after the Victorians.
Merlin’s beard; did Thalia need to stop eavesdropping...!
Watching the horseplay and laughter that ensued between Jenna and... An admittedly attractive boy sitting away from them, Thalia fidgeted like a child on a playground, who wasn't sure how to get on with the other children.
When Jenna offered Thalia the opportunity to sit amongst the decidedly brilliant Gryffindor girls, the brunette nodded albeit a little too eagerly, and moved to sit on the presented patch of bench right by Cassi.
In the midst of her excitement—she was going to sit next to people who were actually going to talk to her! How thrilling!—Thalia awkwardly stumbled onto the bench, and thanked them for letting her impose on their hospitality. “Not to sound presumptuous, but… what classes are the lot of you attending, this year?” She asked; settling astride the bench, so that she could face the girls she was talking to. It wasn’t very comfortable to straddle the bench in a skirt, but she didn’t mind—it was better than flashing the students at the other table her knickers, like she did last year.

Maddelynn blushed when Jenna pointed out that her behavior was unlady-like and she laughed quietly when she encouraged her, "The hairs on my Grandmother's arm would stand up. She'd be here in a heartbeat." She looked to Thalia when she asked their class choices for the year. Maddelynn began to serve herself supper, "I won't be taking any electives this year, just the required classes. I need the extra time for violin lessons since my weekends will be full of planning."
Ewan jumped when the pea hit him. He mock-glared at Jenna and returned to the conversation he was having with his friends.

((I'm really sorry guys! I'm back on now!))
Hearing Cassi's laughter caused Jenna to smile brightly. She had a nice laugh and didn't use it often enough. Then grinning at Maddelynn she shook her head. "Nah she'll never know!" Jenna sent her a wink. She liked these girls, a lot. Glancing to Thalia she mentally brought up her schedule. After Maddelynn was done saying her's she spoke her own. "The required's, ya know, potions, DADA, transfiguration, charms, and herbology. I'm going to be an Auror so I'm working on the classes I have to pass to start the training." It was a lot of work becoming an Auror but she wanted to nothing else. Jenna wanted to be like her father. She had to study, and study hard but it was worth it.

Cassi continued to watch her friends silver eyes, simply enjoying their company, when she heard Thalia's question. It really was a good question, and an easy one to answer, though doing so still made her feel butterflies in her tummy. "Th-The basic ones l-like J-Jenna and M-Maddelynn, but also C-Care for M-Magical C-Creatures," she began, stammering much as she had before. It was an unfortunate consequence of her past experiences with people and the damage they had done to her self-esteem. "I-I'm not ac-actually sure about m-my l-last cl-class. I-I was s-supposed to talk to M-Mr. S-Snape about it, b-but he s-scares me." Maddelynn's mention of playing the violin reminded her of her love of painting. She was of course planning on completing various paintings over the year; a goal of thirty is what she had set for herself. But she didn't say anything for fear of how the others would think of her. So she kept silent after sharing the little bit about classes, fidgeting all the while.

Laughing a bit to herself; at hearing Maddelynn worry about her grandmother suddenly appearing and reprimanding her for her unladylike behavior—and more importantly, hearing Jenna’s reassurance that Maddelynn’s gran would never find out—Thalia was a bit caught off guard when the Strawberry blonde revealed her course outline. Immediately hearing that Maddelynn didn’t have any electives, Thalia opened her mouth to object to the girl’s plans—until she heard of the violin lessons. Then her mouth closed like a bear trap.
She understood the strain that lessons—musical or not—that did not require magic were difficult; she had had a blasted hard time learning how to play the clarinet in the three weeks she was interested in it, before she tossed her expensive lesson aside, and moved onto the next hobby that caught her eye. No wonder she only had a pinch of muggle friends—she was a hobby-collector; and it must’ve gotten tiresome to sit around and watch her try a new thing and give it up the moment she didn’t succeed at it.
“What kind of violin will you be using?” Somehow, the odd question flew out of her mouth without much prompt; just like her horn owl had flown out of its cage on the train ride. She wondered why she couldn’t ever keep her first thoughts from turning into words—and, more importantly than that; where in the world that blighting owl made off to, and if he was coming back before the school year was over. “Anything fancy..? My cousin got her hands on an enchanted Stradivarius; when she was poking her nose in an unsavory shop—she very well shouldn’t been inside of—during her trip to Romania.”
Shedding the last bit of discomfort that had lingered with the thought that—yes, she was gabbing away to girls she still hardly knew—Thalia put her elbows on the table and leaned into the cradle that her clasped hands made. Her hazel eyes watched Jenna, as she was the next to give details of her syllabus and her dreams of becoming an Auror. “Wow, an Auror? I hear that it’s wicked hard to become one—but, I reckon that that fire in your eyes, speaks louder than words; in saying you’re up to the task. Any noble, or not so noble, reason for becoming an Auror—if that’s not too much information to ask of you?”
When her eyes settled on Cassi, lastly, Thalia softened her expression as to look as maternal as possible. Unlike her, the Slytherin hadn’t saddled off the clinging remnants of nerviness—if her stutter was anything to go by, anyhow. “Care of Magical Creatures, huh? I’m taking that class, too—along with Arithmancy. Maybe we’ll see each other? It’s always nice to see friendly faces.” She smiled amusedly, at the thought of the Slytherin and herself, along with a bunch of other students, dragging themselves down the grounds, early in the morning, for class.
Thalia’s smile quickly faded upon mention of the potion’s master, and soon, it was obvious that the brunette had nothing but disdain for the greasy-haired wizard. Snape had tried to fail her last year, because of her poor attendance record; but, when he wasn’t able to—Madam Pomfrey had supplied Dumbledore with enough evidence that Thalia had, indeed, fallen too ill to attend class—he went on to make potion’s class, (when she could attend it) and the coursework, more horrid than she could have initially imagined.
Cursing Snape mentally, Thalia tried not to look so sour. “Scary? Hm, I don’t know about that—but, his presence does illicit very strong; and very negative emotions from me.” Her hands clenched and unclenched, as she said that. “I have to take Potions; because, of my gran—maybe, we can talk to him together?”
When she noticed that Cassi had gone silent, the brunette sighed softly, before standing up and leaning forward against the table, looking over to the general area where she had been sitting before now, she held her hand out expectantly, “Accio Grand tome.” And just like that, her hardback book flew into her hand—hitting only a few Gryffindors, as it came to her. Sitting back down with the tome on her lap, Thalia eased back into conversation.
“I’m going to be dead, or close to it; by the end of this year—I’m taking on more classes than I ought to be.”

~: Gonna push things along a little. We'll be separated for just a bit, but not for long, so it won't be weird. :~
The next morning brought the promise of a beautiful day. Unfortunately for the students, most of it would be spent in doors for their first day of classes. Maddelynn rose with the other seventh year Gryffindor girls, ready to start the year, though a little sour about it.
Maddelynn had been the first in the shower, only due to the fact that she rose from her bed more easily than the other girls. She was dragged out of bed early all summer. She exited the bathroom with dry hair, twisted into a complicated bun, carrying her nightgown, a wet towel, and her wand. She put the towel in the hamper shared by all the girls for their bathroom towels and went to her bed. She was in a white chemise and short bloomers, and black stockings.
While the other girls were getting out of bed, grumbling about it being morning already, Maddelynn wrapped a white corset around herself and hooked all the front closures. She picked up her wand and awkwardly waved it behind her over the laces. Springing to life, they tightened and tugged as if a maid stood behind Maddelynn doing all the work. The ribbons twisted and tied themselves snugly and even tucked themselves in. Twisting a little and tugging the corset down a bit, Maddelynn made herself as comfortable as possible and pulled on the rest of her uniform. She sat down on her bed and bent awkwardly to pull on her boots, using her wand to tighten and tie the laces.
She was just about ready to start her first day of her last year of school. She felt her stomach twist painfully with nervousness. She pushed her anxiety away and tried to focus on lighter, happier thoughts. She pondered what she would have for breakfast while she packed her bag with her books and supplies.

Groaning loudly Jenna rolled over and fell off the bed. She made a loud thump and cursed softly. The redhead was use to her large bed at home, they one thing she didn't like about Hogwarts were the beds.
Letting out a huff of air she pushed herself up off the floor and looked around, squinting from not being completely awake. Jenna was definitely not a morning person. "Maddy why in the bloody heck are you up and already dressed? It's sort of sicking, I will never get use to this," she mumbled mostly to herself but loud enough for her new friend to hear. Scratching her head she groaned at the feel of her hair. It was sticking out everywhere. Sometimes she loved having curly hair and sometimes she hated it. "Hold that thought," she said and quickly ran to the shower.
After taking the fastest shower possible she dried off and walked back into the room, wrapped up in a towel, wet hair dripping down her back. Grabbing panties and a bra she expertly put them on under the towel then dropped it. Walking around in her underwear never bothered Jenna and then other girls were probably use to it by now. Grabbing her wand she closed her eyes, concentrated and pointed it at her hair. Her mother had taught her a spell long ago on how to dry their curly hair. Once her hair was dry she tossed her wand on her bed and started to get dressed. As she was pulling clothes on she talked to Maddelynn. "So how do you think today is going to go? You think the Professors are going to go easy on us because we're 7th years or do you think they're gonna go hard on the first day?"
She was now dressed and wearing the uniform, the one she hated. Of course Jenna had put her own style to her outfit, with leather ankle boots again. Bandage tights on, showing pale skin through the mesh parts. Her shirt was unbuttoned and showed just a hint of cleavage and her tie was loosened. She slapped on a thin black headband with small silver spikes. Jenna grabbed her bracelets and put them on her left wrist along with her black and crystal watch. The bracelets were all different but tight against her skin so that they didn't move. Some were black with silver skulls on then, another was just a plain black braid. One was silver and had spikes all over it. Jenna quickly slapped on some mascara and black eyeliner, now she was done and ready for class.

Rolling out of her layers of blankets before anyone else, Cassi yawned as she went about gathering her supplies for the shower. The plethora of blankets on her bed served to keep her extra warm, a necessity considering her poor blood circulation and temperature regulation. Likewise, a strangely precise circadian rhythm of sleep made sure that she woke up every day at the same time. Really, it was quite strange how snake-like her body was. Thankfully, few people paid attention to insignificant details like that.
Regardless, she was quite pleased to have the showers to herself for a while, as it allowed Fang to get himself clean as well. She actually brought a hard brush that she used to scrub his scales clean when she got the chance, which, admittedly, was pretty often. Most of the Slytherins didn't get up until they absolutely had to. Shrugging as if to some imaginary person, Cassi turned off the showers and began to towel herself off with her fluffy pink towel before heading back into the dorm to get her clothes.
As she entered the sinister-looking room again, she noticed that a few of her classmates were up, though far to sleepy to even take notice of her. That thought put a smile on her youthful face, as well as a sparkle in her eye. It was nice to not be picked on for once, though she had a feeling it would change later. She shook that negative thought from her head as she got dressed though. Not one for standing out, Cassi dressed in the uniform to the letter. The black tights, the green and silver tie, and everything else were exactly as they should be. Fang, wrapped around her arm as usual, was the only exception. He was still rather unnoticeable from under her sleeve where he made his home, so most new students would have no idea.
Fully dressed, Cassi looked over her stuff again to make sure she had everything before she made her way to the dining hall. The skip in her step and the grin on her face seemed rather out of place for such an early time, but anyone who knew of her emotional lability would be easily able to tell why. Even so, it was kind of remarkable how much a few friends disturbed her outlook on life. Usually, she wasn't anywhere near happy, but actually almost depressed. Anyone who knew of her at all would think that she had been replaced by a look-alike as she entered the dining hall and waited for her friends, looking about every so often so that she didn't miss them.

Kiah Rowan
Kiah slowly opened her light teal eyes, staring at the closed curtains around her four poster bed, she didn't say anything or make a sound as she laid there. Her hand reached up, pulling the night blue curtain aside to reveal a room that was rosy color at the moment. She had learned that the rooms were enchanted just like the ceiling in the great hall, but it was more so to show the sky for those that need to study it.
A few more minutes passed by before she climbed out from under the bronzed colored blanket, running a hand through the blond locks that were a mess around her face for the moment. She looked around to see that her roommates were still sleeping, a soft yawn escaped her lips as she did her daily routine.
Checking her bag to make sure all her things were in it, she then gathered her uniform and bath accessories together as she slipped into her white slippers. She smiled as she looked at her now waking roommates, nodding her head to them in greeting before she slipped out of the room and headed towards the bathroom to get washed up and ready for the new day.
Once she had washed up, dried off, she pulled on a knee length black skirt over black tights, tugging on some simple black boots, once that was done she finished buttoning up her white collared shirt, fixing her blue and white tie before she finally pulled on a black vest like corset. She looked her self over in the mirror for a few minutes, before she tugged on her black and blue robe.
Brushing her blonde locks, drying it out before tugging it up on a pony tail, finally finishing off her outfit with the normal jewelry that she always wore, she looked her self over in the mirror once more as she gathered her things. She grew a bit more shy as more people headed to go and shower, to fully wake up, once back in the dorm room, she neatly put her things away, hanging her towel so that it could dry out and not get moldy. She checked her bag again, before tying it around her waist as she headed down to the great hall for breakfast.
Arius Rowan
Arius grumbled as he was shaken awake once more by one of his three roommates, huffing slightly as he swatted them away, grumbling as he rolled out of the bed. He groaned once more as he stood up, rubbing his face before he grabbed his things, heading to take a shower to wake up completely. Once he was done, he dressed in his normal uniform, pulling on a matching mirror to his sisters though instead of a husky it was a rabbit made of opal. He gave a yawn, grabbing his bag as he walked out of the dorm once more, heading towards the great hall.

As Maddelynn packed her bag, she glanced over her shoulder at Jenna. She didn't respond, figuring anything she said wouldn't get through Jenna's sleepy mind. She sat down on the bed and waited for Jenna to finish getting ready.
"I think today will be a lot of talking about what's to come this year, but I think the year will be our most difficult. It's our last year before we go off into the world. Although, I'm not too worried. It's not as if I need these skills to get me a job or anything. It's all practical for me," she said. Maddelynn shrugged and watched out the window while Jenna finished getting ready. It was occasional comments like these that sometimes gave the impression that Maddelynn was not satisfied with her life, but getting her to admit it was another story.
When Jenna was ready, Maddelynn stood up and pulled on her Gryffindor robe. She pulled her bag onto her shoulder and exited the girl's dorm. She went down the stairs with careful, graceful steps and headed into the common room. On her way through, she passed her fiance, probably waiting for his friends to come down. The two made eye contact, but only gave each other a stiff nod of acknowledgement and a curt smile instead of any sort of real greeting. Heaving a sigh, she headed for the door.

Jenna was stuffing her books in her bag as she listened to Maddelynn talk. Pulling on her robe also she then slung the crossed body bag over her head. Frowning the redhead followed after Maddelynn. "Well I'm worried! I need all these classes to become an Auror. I have to get good grades or my dreams are done for." She couldn't help but notice the way her friend talked. There was no way Maddy wanted to do what she was doing. Jenna was going to make it her mission to spruce up poor Maddelynn's life.
As they walked downstairs Jenna's eyes roamed the place, talking in everything and everyone. She watched the interaction between Maddy and Ollie and couldn't help but shake her head. They were engaged and that's how they greeted each other? A nod? "Oh dove," she said as she wrapped an arm around Maddelynn's shoulder. "That was not a greeting! You're engaged the least you two could do is say ello to one another. Or a kiss?" She said with a grin. "Come on go over and give 'im a kiss!" Jenna laughed and smiled at her friend. Oh yeah she was going to definitely try and make her life better.

Succumbing to her tummy's demands, Cassi abandoned her watch at the door to get some food at the Gryffindor table. While she did get a few dirty looks from the people who knew her to be a Slytherin, no one said anything to her, primarily for fear of Fang, though her association with Maddy and Jenna undoubtedly helped as well. For the most part, she was able to ignore them while she got her food. Eating it with such feelings of disapproval proved much harder however. It almost felt like every bite further cemented their hate of her. Eventually, she found herself too nauseous to even think of eating, all of the fears and such from the night before rushing back.
Fang's presence and whispers of encouragement were the only thing that kept her from bolting out of the dining room altogether. Most people wouldn't think of a snake as gentle or compassionate, but Fang would easily prove them all wrong. He was very sensitive to the needs of his friend, and she to his. As it was, half the food on her plate was for him, as shown by the fact that she kept taking pieces of meat and sticking them up her sleeve. It was true that he usually hunted at night, but he hadn't wanted to leave her side on the first night. There was a much higher chance of her nightmares occurring then.

Arius and Kiah had met in front of the great hall, him yawning while she took his hand and hid behind him slightly, she couldn't take being around others, no matter how much her twin tried to push her to make friends. She felt him squeeze her hand a little bit as he looked sleepily around the great hall, before spotting a Slytherin at the Gryffindor table, he vaguely remembered seeing her then again he had been busy at the time. Arius and Kiah moved over to the said table and took a seat, already noting the others that were still filing into the great hall to get some breakfast. Arius finally managed to get his hand away from h is twin so he could pile food on his plate as he looked at his rival classmate, thinking for a few minutes before he decided to speak. "I am Arius, this is my twin Kiah. She doesn't talk." he said to her as he introduced himself and his sister, saying the last sentence to sound like she just refuses to talk instead of like she can't talk, because she can, she just hasn't talked in a very long time, well not where anyone can hear her.

Maddelynn listened to her friend's worries while they headed downstairs and frowned. She smiled, though, comfortingly, "Don't worry a bit. If you need help, you can always ask me. I'd be more than happy to offer my services. Whatever I can do, just ask."
As they exited the common room, Maddelynn's pale face turned dark red. She shook her head stiffly, "I couldn't possibly kiss him. I don't know him. Besides! I've never kissed anyone. I'd look like a fool." She fidgeted as she walked and sighed, "There really are days, though, that I wish I didn't live in such a strange world. I mean, I'm sure you're entangled in a courtship, yes? Or something of the like? And I'm sure your parents are fine with such things. Just like most of the other students. ....Though, I could go without seeing them snogging in the hallways, but that's just me." She sighed and thumped her heel against the floor as she rounded the corner toward the Great Hall, "Our first kiss will probably be after he slips a ring on my finger and says 'I do."

Jenna squeezed Maddelynn's shoulder once before dropping her arm. She jumped up and down, making a small squeaking noise. "Thank you! If there's anything I can help you with you must ask me!" She continued to bounce a little as they walked, listening to Maddy explain that kissing would not be in the cards.
Putting on a pout Jenna looked at her friend as they rounded the corner to the Great Hall. "But kissing is so easy and natural! You just gotta go with it you know?" At Maddelynn's question about her relationships the redhead smiled. "Oh yeah you could say I've had a few..courtships. My parents are fine with it as long as I'm being responsible! Can't you go against the grain? Why do you have to do everything they say? You're a young adult who's an individual! They shouldn't choose things like this for you. I think you should be able to kiss him whenever you want Maddy! It's not fair.." Jenna grew quiet as they got closer to the doors of the Great Hall. She was sure Maddelynn wouldn't want people to overhear.

The sudden arrival of two more people to the table prompted Cassi to flinch in surprise, which then resulted in Fang peeking his head out menacingly to see who had startled her. His forked tongue slipped out several times as he smelled them before he decided they were non-hostile and slipped back inside Cassi's sleeve. Having eaten his fill already, he was heading off back to sleep, but would still be ready to respond at a moment's notice if needed.
"I-I'm C-Cassi," she responded, not looking at the two Gryffindors, Arius and his sister Kiah. Rather, her eyes were focused on the doorway of the Great Hall, from which Jenna and Maddelynn would hopefully appear soon. She still wasn't quite certain that they wouldn't succumb to the temptation of doing something awful to her, a Slytherin. Hopefully such a fear wouldn't be stored away in the chest of her mind that formed her night terrors and daymares.
Noting that Jenna and Maddelynn still hadn't come through the door, Cassi risked a peek at the twins from the corner of her eye. If one was paying attention, they would notice the faint gleam coming off of her eyes, a result of the metallic color and the specific angle of refraction. Indeed, in a moment, it was gone as completely as the vapor of the candles. But in those two moments, Cassi had gotten a pretty good idea of what the twins looked like so that, in the likely case that they disliked her, she would be able to see them coming.
The run her imagination was taking with the thought of being attacked and physically injured did, of course, no good whatsoever. In fact, all they did was heighten her anxiety to the point where, when another student came and sat down several seats away, she jumped up and bolted from the room. As she exited, she forced her eyes on the ground in front of her, lest she slow down for some reason behind her. Thus the look of surprise on her face when she flicked her eyes up from two pairs of shoes and saw Jenna and Maddelynn's faces before promptly running into the latter full tilt.

Kaih Rowan
Kiah had given Cassi a shy smile, waving slightly before she pulled out a piece of paper, writing on it for a few minutes, just as she was about to hand it towards Cassi, the girl had bolted. Tears spring to her eyes before let her head dropped, playing with the paper for a few minutes before stashing it away once more, not letting anyone see it, yes, her feelings were hurt, thinking it was because of her that the female had ran.
Arius Rowan
Arius on the other hand, wasn't very worried about his fellow house mates or the out of place Slytherin and his Ravenclaw sister, after all they his housemates knew about the fact that him and his twin stuck together. Though his head snapped up, a glare in his eyes as he growled slightly as someone made a comment about his sister, causing their group of friends to laugh. He pulled his wand out, mumbling under his breath. 'Diffindo.' He grinned as he watched the person's clothes start to get cut into shreds, laughing with everyone else before he turned around. Seeing Kiah give him a look and shake her head at him, just caused him to shrug as he continued to grin, going back to eating his breakfast, handing her an apple to eat.

Sirus Wolfbane
Sirus herd the others in the room get up and soon go down to breakfast. He really didn't want to get up. Many said it was the more..anamalistic side of him that helped to influence his habits. He was a deep sleeper most the time, but could wake easily when needed. He wasn't a morning person however, and it often took him awhile to fully wake up. He finally managed to push himself up off of the matress, the room empty by now. He only wore his pajama pants, he wasn't really one for shirts if he could avoid it, though he knew it was probrably a bad idea for him to let a professor to catch him so exposed. He oppened his trunk at the fook of his bed, looking around for an old charm he always kept with him. It was a wolf charm , simple in appearance. It was bewitched though, all the members of his family had one. His agression and often times his strength was tied to the werewolf inside of him. Most in the wizarding world thought that it was more of a one night thing, or that they were dangerout all together.
This was and was not true. The closer it got to the full moon, the more the werewolf inside them was active and harder to control, but that did not mean that they would randomly transform and rip somebodies head off. The charm was ment to help keep him calm, and the small gem in the middle was sort of like a mood stone. It changed color in accordance to how his animal side was responding, rather then his mood though. If it turned red, he knew he had to get away. Frankly, he didn't see what people were so terrified about. Then again, he had grown up with it all his life. He was normally harmless, and a good guy, though at times that didn't matter to others. He was first and foremost a wolf in their eyes, a cold hungry beast, that if not kept under control, he could put their childrens lives in danger. The incident that had happened with his mother in their eyes wasn't helping either. He missed her, and he would have given anyhting to see her again.
Right now however, he had breakfast to get to. He could eat a lot, just like any of his other family members, some people were surprised he didn't weigh more then he did. It was because he did still work out, in his free time, he loved to go for runs. Feeling the wind in his hair, and on his face. It was one of the few times he felt free anymore, rather then having everyones eyes on him. He grabbed his uniform off of the chair, making his way to the bathrooms. He was glad to be alone there to, being around others was not always his strong suit. He quickly freshened up, and got dressed, he brushed his hair as well, but it still laid as it wanted to. He made his way down to the hall, a few people avoiding him as he did. He was used to the stares and the whispers by now, he had learned that words were just that, words. Unless they were a spell, but that was really forbidden, and would most likely only cause trouble
Some people did see the good in him though, like the headmaster. They knew that just because he was a werewolf, didn't mean that he was an evil beast, it just ment he needed a bit of extra...assistance at times. He smirked, entering the hall and pausing. He noticed the stares immediately, though most of the hall was alive and very active with people chatting and messing around. He made his way to the Gryffindor table. He sat at the end, away from some of the other students, though the few who were at the end seemed to edge away from him a bit. It was kind of annoying, to have everyone always afraid of him. They didn't know him at all, though none would bother to take the time to get to know him anyways. He was a freak, even for the wizarding world, and something they were raised to stay away from and fear for good reason. He had grown up around stories of werewolves back in the day, and how many were killed out of this fear or for attacking people. Suddenly, Sirus had lost his appitite.

Maddelynn shrugged lightly as she walked, listening to Jenna, "Oh, I don't know. I suppose I lack the courage to really stand up for myself. So many years of having to be seen and not heard. And sometimes, not even seen." She gave another shrug, "I'm not sure he'd want to kiss me. To put it lightly, our engagement didn't exactly thrill him."
She opened her mouth to continue, but never got the change. A mass suddenly plowed full on into Maddelynn, knocking her clean off of her feet. She collapsed back onto her elbows, her eyes as wide as saucers. She wasn't hurt, aside from some pain in her elbows and behind.
Ewan was, by any definition, not a morning person, but he found it difficult to get back to sleep after waking some time before dawn. He got up, dressed, and went out to walk around the grounds before breakfast. Realizing he was almost late, he rushed inside and into the Great Hall. Passing Maddelynn and Jenna just before Maddelynn and Cassi collided, he hurried into the Great Hall and took a seat near the end of the Gryffindor table. He was alone, for the moment, while he loaded his plate up with eggs, sausage, and bacon. He glanced up to Sirus, but quickly looked back to his breakfast.

Jenna couldn't help but feel sad for Maddelynn as she explained things to her a bit. To live that that all your life was unimaginable. It made her feel extremely lucky that she had her parents and that they gave her a great childhood.
She turned to look at Maddelynn when her friend suddenly went flying backwards as Cassi came running into them. She was knocked to the side and she stumbled. Catching her balance she glanced at Cassi and Maddy with a small smile. "Hey Cassi what's wrong? Are you ok? Maddy you alright?" She asked quietly and stuck her hands out to her friends to help them up.
Jenna had seen Ewan run by right before the girls collided. She was definitely going to give him grief for not stopping to help them. He wasn't going to be able to live it down, not if she had a say about it!
