Eric spun around blocking the claws with his knife, "so your both cowards then? he runs, you attack from behind...."

Jack jumped backwards, and landed on top of a lower beam."It seems we are." He said with a smirk.

Tsuki noticed this. 'What is he planning?' She thought to herself as she continued to move silently across the beam on the she was on. Her thoughts wandered back to Zero.'If he saw me doing this...Zero would KILL me. But what would he care? He abandoned me, left me to fend for myself.' Tsuki's anger slowly swelled up in her soul.

"good" eric grunted, "it'll make you easier to kill"

Jack was still smirking, and he bit his thumb, causing it to bleed a little. "I hope you are ready, hunter." His pupils shifted into a cat's.

'Crap, he is planning to shapeshift. Into what, exactly...' Tsuki thought to herself as she closely watched.

A cloud of red dust started to swarm around Jack. "Now, here is where it gets exciting." He said as the dust finally disappeared, only to reveal a orange,black, and white kitten with green eyes.

Tsuki tried to hold back a slight giggle. 'Wow. And here I was thinking that he was powerful.'

Adam started to slightly laugh, and couldn't hold it in anymore. "Oh my god! This is your fearsome form Jack? A kitten!?" The whole time he was saying this, he fell to the floor, laughing hysterically.

Jack glared daggers at Adam. "What are you talking about, you fool!"

Eric laughed, "ready to put a pink ribbon on your head and take you home to my daughter?"

"What did you say!" Jack was talking, without actually moving his mouth. He sprinted over to a peice of glass, and looked at himself. "This wasn't supposed to happen." He glared back at Eric. "I will be back for you, hunter." He took off through a broken down door.

Tsuki stood up, and tried to balance herself. Her foot slipped on the side of the beam, and fell down into a pile of crates behind Eric.

"ooh i'm sooooo scared" Eric muttered, he whipped around at the sound behind him, when he saw it was a young "innocent" girl his demeanor instantly changed, "hey, are you okay? who are you? why are you here? it's dangerous!"

Tsuki grabbed her head, and looked up at Eric."Will you please stop asking so many questions. First of all, I am fine...Trust me on that. 2. I don't think I should really be talking to you. And 3. I followed my kitten in here and it took off as soon as you showed up. I was scared to come down though, especially because of those men." She said in a innocent, nice tone.

"...alright then" Eric said, he looked at his watch, "i have to go pick up my daughter from school"

"Good luck." Tsuki said as she walked over to the opened doorway, and left out into the brightly sun-absorbed streets. Something that would be a little to much for her eyes. 'For someone who is used to the darkness, something like this, can be rather, fatal. Hmph. Yeah right Tenma. Why would you say that about your youngest sister.'

She looked down, filled with despair at the thought of her older brother, and how he playfully made fun of her abilities to use the shadows. She remembered back to the first day she discovered she could use the shadows to travel. Tsuki knew she could use them as a weapon, but not as a form of transportation.

~Flashback: First a weapon, now transportation~

"Tsuki, with something like that, you could easily stalk someone." A boy about 10 with black, ear length spiky hair with blue eyes said to 6-year-old version of Tsuki. Tsuki glared at him, then used the shadows to trip the boy. "Oh shut up Tenma!" She said as she ran up the stairs to her room. "Can't you see that she isn't in the mood to be messed with?" A woman with black hair and icy blue eyes said as she smacked the back of Tenma's head. "Mom, what was that for!?" Tenma said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"You know why. Now, get back to your homework. After that, you can go with your friend Naraku to the comic book store." She said with a gentle smile, and walked through the archway beside them, and looked at the oak bookshelf.

Tsuki slightly smiled at the thought, but quickly dismissed it. What was the point in remebering it?

Eric picked Alexandria up from school.

"Daddy, i saw a girl with wings at school today" Alexandria said.

Icy fear gripped Eric's heart, one of the creatures, at his daughter's school? He must do something about this. He hid his fear and anger from the child, "did you? and what else happened at school?" he forced a smile as he listened to Alexandria chatter on cheerfully about her day. They drove back to the hotel room. Eric pulled out the tiara and ribbons, "look what I got you today"

Alexandria's eyes lit up, "Oh! thank you, Daddy!" She hugged him tightly, "I love you, Daddy!"

"i love you too kitten" Eric turned on the baby monitor, "I've got to go out for a little while, okay? but I'll keep an eye on you through this" he left the rom and went hunting.

Zero was back at his house, sleeping away the rest of the day. He was never a huge fan of sunlight, since most of the time it hurt his eyes a little.

Tsuki passed a rave club. She looked up at the sky, which was already darkening with Nimbrostratus clouds."Hm. Of course. First the sun, now the rain. Why is Millenium's weather so interesting?" She said to herself, and then sighed.

Eric walked thorugh the city and stopped in front of a house he had been watching. He waited for darkness. He knew this was a family of supernaturals.

~The clouds progressively turned darker, a forewarning sign of the storm to come.~

Tsuki noticed that the clouds darkened, a sign she knew that represents death all to well. She ignored it, and continued on.

With practiced hands Eric picked the lock on the door and pushed it open. The family in the living room looked up alarmed. Parents and two little girls aged two and three stared at him, with frightened eyes.

The two-year-old little girl moved behind her mother, shivering with fear at the intruder. "Meanie man." She clenched her mother's knee-length white skirt.

"It is ok, Rose." Lily looked down at Rose. And then she turned to Adrian, her husband. 'What are we going to do about our children? If he gets his hands on our little girls, I don't know what'll I do.' She spoke softly, and sadly, to Adrian in his mind.

Eric grabbed the three year old child roughly. He pulled out his silver knife and held it at her throat.

Violet tried to pull away with a wail.

"i don't know" he spoke to his wife's mind as he stepped forward, "let her go! she's only a child!" he pleaded.

"Sissy!" Rose said sadly, on the brink of tears.

"Let go of my child!" Lily growled as her pupils shifted into a cat's, and transformed into a jaguar. She rushed at Eric, and bit into his leg.

"daddy!" Violet cried.

Eric was frozen, scarcely feeling the bite on his leg, he was locked in a flashback of that night three years ago. His breath was a ragged gasp. He stared down at the child in his arms, oh god, i'm the monster now he cried out in his mind. He cradled the the child in his arms for a moment then set her down gently, "i-i'm sorry" he turned and ran.

Lily shifted back into her human form, and gave Violet a loving hug. Then she looked over at Rose.

Rose ran over to her mother and sister, crying with tears of joy that her sister wasn't killed. "Ugh, mommy...evil man is good?"

Tsuki looked up at the dark Nimbrostratus clouds that covered the sky. The freezing rain drizzled heavily, covering the entire city. The streets flooded, the wind furious, Tsuki tried to pull her hood over her head."I forgot..." She said as she let her hands fall to her side. Her jacket was hood-less.

Tsuki looked down at her Lady Rider Genuine Leather Shoulder Bag, and then unbuttoned the top of it. She rummaged through her bag, and retrieved her mini umbrella. It was white with black skulls and crossbones on it. Tsuki opened it up, grabbed the handle, and held it over her rain-soaked body.

The tears on Eric's face were invisible in the rain. He was waling past an alleyway when he heard a small cry. He turned down the alley to investigate and gasped. The bodies of two faeries lay in the allley, throats slashed, clearly the work of supernatural hunters, the woman was clutching an infant abut a year old. There was a deep gash in the infant's stomach but she was still alive and crying weakly. Eric scooped her up gently and carefully, "poor baby, you'll be okay, it'll be okay" he crooned softly while hurrying from the alley to find help.

Tsuki passed by a few buildings, and passed by the alley that Eric ran out with the infant faerie. She wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings, all she worried about was getting out of the weather.

Eric saw Tsuki, "he" he called out, "i need help!"

Tsuki stopped, turned around, and then looked at Eric."What do you need help with?" She said in her normal tone, unlike earlier that day. She had evaded Eric by masking her true personality, and the fact she was a human with supernatural powers.

Then she smelt blood, a lot of it.

She shivered slightly, for she was afraid of blood. But many people didn't know that was her fear. Tsuki grasped a hold of the fear, and kept it in balance."Let me guess, you need help healing a supernatural." She said, slowly walking towards Eric.

Eric blinked, "um...yes" he wondered if the girl from earlier had a twin sister, "yes i need help healing her, she's very abdly hurt"
