I totally agree. I don't think we will ever turn into anything remotely like Gaia. Our rules are more strict but fortunately that spares us from the oodles of spam and inappropriate material, gold whores, etc.

I can see the prices inflation bore some similarities with Gaia economy. XD

That is good. Mene just seems cleaner and much nicer than Gaia.
I wouldn't want that to change.
Of course inflation has occurred. Other than giving every member the exact same things, there really is no way to prevent inflation. What would be the fun in that?
I like saving and trying to locate that coveted item.

This is the first event I've participated in on Mene in a few years. I just came back from a long hiatus and don't really have many friends on this site, so do you guys mind if i hang out here with you for a bit? o 3o

I am mostly on gaia for making and buying art. But the inflation that is happening over there is making that even more of a hassle than it normally is >___>

I have a 2 year degree in Criminal justice, and am working on my 4-year degree. I'm also minoring in paralegal studies. o uo

Criminal justice is different than crimenology... right?

Yeah, Criminal Justice is more about what you might expect "cops" to need to know to do their job, where as criminology is more of a scientific study of crime; why people commit it, if it can be prevented, what causes criminal tendencies, stuff like that.

Criminal Justice is more of a study of police procedures; how to deal with crime, what rights police officers and the courts have in combating crime, legal and technical procedures for law enforcement, the prison system and how it functions, and things of that nature. It's less of a scientific study of crime and more of a study of the technical application of law enforcement.

I've taken some criminology classes, but my college doesn't offer a criminology degree, unfortunately.
