It occurred to me today that you guys might be curious about maps of the world, and after much consideration, I'm afraid I'm not going to give you one just yet. Maps as we think of them are a pretty recent invention... yes, maps have existed for millennia, but if you were going on a journey you didn't go buy one, you followed roads and asked people who'd been there before. In this world, only military leaders, wealthy caravan masters, and wealthy or particularly adventurous sea captains are likely to have maps that would actually allow you to get anywhere. So basically maps are all kinds of rare: Rarely available, rarely affordable, and rarely accurate.

I'll update Rave's profile either to.. er.. today or Sunday, promise! She'll be all shiny and finished!

And sorry y'all. She won't be a high ranking military officer. Just a grunt-level city guard. xD

Phaelan won't mind as long as she's moderately okay with being in a kick line.

She will be absolutely miserable at kicklines in that [reasonable] armor. u_u
